Clean, Comfortable. Very high standard of personal service. Complementary Wifi , PC and printer access. Complementary afternoon tea/coffee.
Parkng was tight but we were very grateful for a spot since there's so much snow!
Excellent service. Very Friendly and accomodating staff that met all of our needs. Delicious breakfast and mid-day treats. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Very convenient location to restaurants and the T into the city. We will DEFINITELY be back to stay again! Thank you!
Great breakfast. comfortable room. very nice staff.
Quiet, with friendly staff and a convenient location for central Cambridge or - via the metro - central Boston.
Liked it all
Lovely, welcoming and helpful staff… Beautiful old house with comfortable colonial bedroom (but modern internet, ac/heat, tv, plumbing)… Great breakfast and lovely breakfast room with glass walls looking out on garden (but warm even with snow all around)…. Quiet side street but a few feet from Mass Ave.
wireless did not work on upper floors
convenience to Mass avenue, Harvard, and Porter Squares, staff, awesome breakfast and afternoon tea/snacks - friendliness of everyone
Everything. Such a gem!
Quiet location, but close walk to Harvard and Public Transportation. Off street parking is a definite plus with all the snow.
The peace and quiet.
This lovely inn serves a hearty breakfast next to an inviting fireplace, and is a few blocks from Harvard Square. Parking, afternoon tea, and chocolates on the pillow make this a great option for visitors to Cambridge.
Bed was small and could be more comfortable. Heating unit was noisy.
Beautiful decor. Great location. Friendly and accomodating staff.
The breakfast wasn't as fresh and hot as it usually is. Probably a fluke, though. Great place.
The facilities are lovely and comfortable. It had such a nice Christmas feel for a weekend in December. We walked to Harvard and Porter Squares easily, and also walked back from Davis.
Parking under the building was quite tight.
Location was ideal to family and Cambridge. 19th century building charming & in excellent repair. Wonderful breakfast.
Our room was at the front of the house near the front door and it was quite noisy both from street traffic as well as activity inside the inn. Next time would avoid rooms 1&2.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
I personally like softer beds but I think I'm in the minority.
The food was fantastic as well as the kindness, responsiveness , and elegance of the inn.
Room could use better lighting especially for night reading. Seems as simple as using a higher strength light bulb.
Felt right at home with tasteful decor, comfortable bed and a decent sized bathroom with necessary amenities. A number of guests were on the property but felt so quiet and private. Excellent location with unique shops and a variety of restaurants right around the corner as well as a T stop right up the street. Food also good.
Great location close to Harvard, friendly and helpful host, rooms were nicely decorated and cozy. Amenities like complimentary tea and continental breakfast show how much care goes into running this inn. I will stay there again when in Cambridge!
This has become our go-to B&B when staying in Boston/Cambridge!!
Since there are no elevators you must be prepared for a steep climb to your room. Not advised for guests with mobility issues.
The inn's location is a few blocks from the Porter Sq T station and a less than 15 min walk to Harvard Sq via Oxford St. Porter Sq has been revitalized since I was last there with new restaurants and shopping. The Inn has a delicious high tea in the afternoon and a full breakfast. You feel a part of history in the old house full of charming details including a garden on view from the breakfast room.
Parking was a little tricky
Everything, especially the food!
Heat woke us up when it came on. Tricky parking if you don't have a small car.
Comfort of the room and the inn in general. Helpful staff. Lovely old building. Patio/deck with so many lovely flowers and plants.
I was a little short - bed really high. Need an other category for travelers - had to use family and older children when in fact we were a mother and adult daughter.
Our stay was too short. Whole experience delightful. Atmosphere and decor charming. Really enjoyed the gardens. Breakfast menus varied each day and very tasty. Wished we could stay longer.
The Staff was helpful and courteous. The room was beautiful. We enjoyed muffins and scones while relaxing at tea time on the patio. Breakfast was served promptly so we could get to the airport on time. We were able to walk to dinner and enjoy the beautiful scenery. A perfect ending to our East Coast adventure.
We were on the 3rd floor with no elevator so if you have mobility issues you need to ask for a lower floor.
Lovely B&B, great breakfast, very clean and nice room and bath.
