DUPLICATE Mauna Kea View Private Hot Tub

Very good location close to the Volcano park. Room was big enough for 2 people, clean and tidy. Krish and her husband are friendly people who gave us some tips where to go and we could learn a bit how people live there.

You can hear voices from a ground floor sometimes. Not a big problem for us, but better door downstairs or 2nd door upstairs would make this room even better.

The hot tub was invaluable after a days hiking in the national park - a great way to relax at the end of the day. The local fruit provided in the room was a really nice touch. Great combination of proximity to the national park and isolation from the town. You'll be sharing the house with a young family, which we enjoyed. Great local information from the friendly hosts.

I enjoyed the feel of the room... it was cozy, clean,private and equipped with almost every thing we could possibly need to include candles and a wine bottle opener. It may be nicer to include the wine glasses. Every thing else was there! Hospitality was perfect.

Beautiful location. The room is elegantly designed and decorated. The hot tub has a gorgeous view immersed in nature and it's completely private! The location is also ideal for exploring Volcano NP.

The family has a small child that arose at a relatively early hour (relative to our wake up time) and ran around the house. Didn't really bother us (we're both heavy sleepers), but I'm sure there are some people that it have bothered.

What a special, romantic experience! We were lucky enough to have clear weather and the views from the room and the hot tub were amazing. The pictures really don't do it justice. Everything (including the hot tub) was super clean and felt high end: gorgeous hardwood floors, tile bathroom, new high def TV, and bedding. There was lots of good coffee and a cute little dining area. We ended up being sorry we had booked only one night. We will be back! Hosts were really nice and knowledgeable and even helped us plan the rest of our holiday.

I loved staying here! From the moment I drove up and saw the red door welcoming me, I knew I'd found the right place. Nestled in the lush rainforest near Volcano Village, I was surrounded by peace and beauty the entire time. Walking up the stairs to my suite, I drank in the view of trees and sky from the cathedral windows. The room was lovely: spacious, airy, and decorated in a soothing color palette. Plus, everything I could have wanted was at my fingertips: fresh tropical fruit, lush flowers (including floating lilies!), brochures from local attractions, coffee maker and supplies, fluffy towels and bath rugs, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, luggage rack and closet... I could have stayed for a month! The hot tub was divine, and the Buddha statues were a special touch for that extra "om" feeling. I could see both mountains from the deck as I relaxed in the bubbling waters. After the gorgeous sunset, I was treated to a spectacular view of every single star in the Milky Way galaxy, it felt like. I was astounded! It provided the perfect end to a great day of winetasting, art center browsing, and scenic hiking near the Kilauea crater. My hosts Krish and Jack (and their adorable sons) were super friendly and welcoming, and gave me much-needed sightseeing advice for my next day's adventures. I can't wait to return on my next visit to the Big Island!

La decoración en muy bonita, la habitación resulta muy agradable y el jacuzzi esta fantástico después de un día andando por el Parque de los Volcanes. No tiene desayuno pero te dejan fruta muy buena y abundante en la habitación.

Se trata de una habitación dentro de una casa por lo que no hay mucha privacidad al entrar y salir ya que se pasa por el salón donde habita la familia. Al ser una casa con niños pequeños tiene el ruido normal que generan los pequeños.

Famiglia gentile e disponibile. Molto vicina al Vulcano. Ottima la Jacuzzi sul balcone.

Tempo pessimo in quella zona di isola. E' una camera sopra alla casa dove vive una famiglia, non un hotel! Cancello di ingresso sempre aperto, un cane (si pensa) ha fregato la scarpa di mia moglie... Posizione molto dispersa tra la foresta... Al buio molto difficile da trovare se non si ha navigatore.

Chambre très spacieuse et superbement équipée. Le jacuzzi attenant à la chambre sur le balcon est un délice!

Nous avons apprécié le cadre très calme et silencieux dans la forêt, la chambre très confortable et personnalisée (fruits tropicaux variés et tout le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner ); après une journée de randonnée dans les volcans, la détente dans le hot tube a été la bienvenue, et très originalement situé dans l'environnement. Pour les dîners, tous les renseignements sont fournis par l'hôte, en particulier le restaurant thai du coin qui est très populaire. Il convient de préciser que la voiture est indispensable pour sillonner et se rendre à l'hôtel.

si tratta di una stanza all'interno di una casa privata, la proprietaria è molto gentile ed ha due bambini piccoli, la stanza è attrezzata di tutto ed ha uno splendido panorama, le finestre coprono tutte le pareti. La posizione è comoda e le indicazioni della proprietaria sono perfette

mancano le tende, quindi ci si sveglia quando sorge il sole

Eigene Etage, die sehr modern eingerichtet war. Ein eigener Whirlpool stand auf dem Balkon, welcher nur für den Gast zugänglich war.

Schwer zu finden. Gastgeber haben zwei kleine Kinder, die relative lange wach waren, bis ca. 22:00 Uhr unter der Woche. Schuhe mussten im Hausflur bleiben.

Nice and very private one-room b&b in the rain forest. Great hot tub on the deck in the tree canopy. Breakfast of fruit andcoffee provided in the room. Town is five minutes away, park maybe 10.

Location proximity to national park. Also the good advice from the owner on the attractions in the local area. Hot tub was nice, clean.

It was billed as a "hotel" but is clearly a bed and breakfast out of a private residence. This should be nuch more clear. Also, beleive the owner violated booking.com policy in pre-charging me a 50% deposit on the room. There was not a private entrance, and we could hear the owner's children on occasion (night/early morning). "Breakfast" is coffee and fruit only--and fruit was not re-stocked except when we specifically asked. View was of local forest only.

Hot tub was nice.

This was not a Guest House, it was an upstairs room in a rather messy house. I would not have stayed here if I knew I would be alone. It was a bit creepy staying alone in an isolated area.

En fait il s'agit d'une chambre d'hotes dans une petite maison où vivent le papa la maman et 2 petits bambins bruyants. Il faut passer par leur séjour pour accéder à la chambre à l'étage, dotée, heureusement, d'un super jacuzzi abrité avec vue sur la forêt tropicale, mais pas de Mauna Kea car il pleut quasi tout le temps dans ce coin. l'accueil est courtois mais pas chaleureux. La chambre n'a pas de volet ni de store donc pas très propice au repos diurne mais de toute façon avec les cris et pleurs des deux têtes blondes, ce n'est guère possible !

The hot tub was AMAZING. Totally worth it. The whole place felt surprisingly private in the midst of the woods.

The room could get pretty hot during the day or slightly chilly at night.

Questo alloggio figura come un Hotel ma attenzione: non è un hotel! Si tratta di una stanza all'interno di una casa caotica, abitata da una famiglia rumorosa. Non è neanche un b&b perché non offre la prima colazione. Il prezzo è molto esoso e assolutamente sproporzionato al servizio offerto.

The room was lovely and it is within five minutes of the entrance to Volcano National Park. My husband especially enjoyed the hot tub. The owner was very generous with her advice and gave us a tip which was a highlight of our travels and which we would never thought of doing.
