Service was extremely good, the people are unbelievable and there is free beer in the lobby every day!
the rooms are decent but the bathrooms are tiny and the lighting isn't the greatest
The staff was incredibly helpful. Super pet-friendly. The vibe and decor is really cool. Wi-fi was free, fast and worked great in the room and at the adjoining restaurant. Restaurant makes an amazing bloody Mary. Centrally located and walking distance to lots of cool spots.
Expensive to park. Rooms are really small but you can definitely find creative ways to have enough space to workout in your room like I do when I travel. My room was facing Stewart St. so it was a bit noisy but was fine. Next time I may try a non-street facing room.
Good location , near to all sights and right on bus , tram and train station . Very good staff . Cool look .
First room was horrible . I broke my toe on a chair whose feet stuck out 5 inches past the back . One had to walk sideways to get around it and in dark I did not realize this . No light in closet , no light ! Safe is in closet on shelf and safe door was open so when I walked in I hit my head on the corner of safe door . If I had not been wearing a hat I would have sliced my fore head open . Bathroom was intolerable . Shower 24X24 inches . I am 5'2" , 120 lbs and could not raise my arms without hitting wall. Had to scoot by sink to get to toilet and when on toilet knees hit sink base. A normal sized man could not have fit in this bathroom. I asked to be moved and was with no complaint . Second room was much better although layout of bathroom was such that while on toilet one had to swing around a wall when standing so as not to hit head on wall. Again , in dark I did not realize this and hit my head on wall. I left Hotel max with a bump on my head , a cut on my forehead and a broken toe . Room service was advertised . I ordered one dinner . The hamburger and fries came in a cardboard box without the side I had requested and was literally dripping in grease . The fries were so soggy they were not edible . The burger bun was soaked in grease and was absolutely nasty . I ate the burger patty only . On the plus side the staff was efficient , kind and seemed happy at their job . Unfortunately, they can not make up for the shortcomings . I will not be back to The Max.
staff very nice. We walked to the corner and was surprised to see the space needle. I totally recommend this place even had free beer in lobby during happy hour
Helpful staff, great location, control of heating or cooling
Wifi so-so at times
traveling alone for business, truly a great place with accommodating and friendly staff. It pairs wonderfully and understandably with Seattle's rich music history and uniqueness.
It had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but the area surrounding had some pretty loud construction. Made it difficult to get a truly good nights sleep. In the hotel's defense, they offered to move me to a different room.
The location of hotel and the staff.
The cleanliness of the room
Hotel staff very friendly, great FREE happy hour in the lobby, excellent location close to attractions.
Rooms are small but still very well decorated and comfortable.
It was close to everything but our room was quite. The hotel was modern in decor for the most part but everything was comfy. EVERYONE was super friendly and helpful.
The room service seemed a little pricey had it been slightly less we'd have used the service. The same prob with the snacks in the room but we get that its a service you pay for.
beer tasting in the lobby in the late afternoon
parking costs are way too high
Clean Hotel. and very friendly staff eager to please. Room was small but very cozy. Overall good experience
Amenities were great, staff was helpful and pleasant, location was easy access to downtown and space needle.
Great location; Right off the highway (easy to find), a 5-10 min walk to Pike Place Market and shopping. Staff were friendly, parking in the area was good especially Sunday when they don't charge for street parking. Room was comfortable and not too noisy. Happy hour with free pints from 5-6!
Toilet didn't flush properly which led to a backup. Bathroom is really small so only one person could go in at a time. One of the elevators was broken and the stairs we took down, led us outside, not to the lobby.
Greatspace, awesome lobby, nice view ( be sure to get a room with a view). Staff was kind and friendly. Ambiance and decor is chic.
Rooms are super small ( get the view) closet light, which you'll need, too dim. They forgot I was waiting in the lobby for my room for almost 2 hours until I rmenides them. That was uncomfortable, and front desk people didn't seem to mind that. Never found a great breakfast place near by, hotel, restaurant was food but suuuuuper pricey. Love the hotel though. Peace...
The art work and how they remodeled this small but very comfortable hotel
The Max is located in the downtown are a.Easy access to Pike Street and the local shops.
The staff gave us a great upgrade because it was a birthday weekend. It was the best place I've stayed. The rooms were wonderful with the different artwork everywhere. The decor throughout the whole hotel was great.
Some criticized that the rooms were too small. They were but only if you're throwing a big party.
Staff was beyond amazing! Also, they have free beer for an hour!! I also felt like i was sleeping on clouds bc it was so comfy and soft.
The room was tinier than expected. The shower was so small, it was difficult for me to shower comfortably.
Very attentive and accommodating staff, good location, nice decor, clean room
room was smaller than depicted on website, restaurant next door was pricey.
Unique hotel Extremely friendly staff Great art work and decorations The rooms are small but I didn't mind
Location Cleanliness Friendly staff
Noisy neighbours - walls not thick enough to block out next door romps. No bar fridge.
The room is very clean and is in the perfect location.
The room is a bit small and at times the traffic a bit loud.
The staff was great! Really friendly and helpful. The location is good and the bed was comfortable. I got a good deal on the nights stay, but you get what you pay for.
The hallways were very dark and a bit creepy. The room was extremely small and cramped. And the shower was in an enclosed room that reminded me of a locker room shower. Im not sure if the hotel provides new toiletries after each guests stay...some of mine were less than half full. Overall a very cramped hotel, if you tend to be claustrophobic don't stay here.
