Score from 1831 reviews Very good
Although the room was tiny, it was more than adequate for one. The bed was comfortable and the facilities provided all worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect if you are only in New York for a short stay and want to see a bit of everything.
The AC unit in the room was very loud when turned on - which was needed as the room was very hot otherwise.
The location and the price.
The room size and the lobby
The location is good
Something was giving me a rash in the sheets and I saw cockroaches on my last night
charming, quiet, intimate, easy. good parking close by, helpful staff. good sheets and comfy bed. quaint, real character.
pretty run down, faucets leaked, hot water in shower dangerously hot and hard to control, air conditioner really noisey. Windows were loose and opened unsafely. safety issues questionable. but would still recommend it.
Facilities are old. The elevator is obsolete,
Small, pleasant, European style hotel in the heart of the the theater district. Reasonably priced Italian restaurant off the paneled lobby.
Noisy A/C compressor. No room service. Showing its age, but still not too shabby.
How easy we could move to 3: th floor.Proximity to town center.
Very noisy on7:th floror because of the air condition on neigbour house.
Location is perfect Staff is very friendly and easy going The hotel has good old-fahioned atmosphere
Wi-fi is best in lobby, not working well in rooms The hotel especially the lobby seems a bit outworn and not too clean Mattress in bed very soft
Location, location, location!!! What can I say, it was great.
Please redo your lobby. The carpets were extremely wore and can become a hazzard. Someone will trip on them.
Couldn't get a much better location and near to subway stations to get other parts of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was cute.
No tea/coffee facilities in room
Location was excellent and the rooms were cozy.
Information and readiness to help from the weekend staff was not great. Nice to have a restaurant in hte hotel but the openning times were not at all accommodating.
Excellent location - 3 mins walk to the Times Square
Room is small
The attached restaurant was quite good.
The room was the smallest I've ever experienced, and I have traveled to Japan. The bathroom was less-than-meticulously cleaned. The elevator was tiny, old, worn and creaky. I'm pretty sure that I got one of their worst rooms. My experience with booking agencies (like Booking.com and Orbitz), is that hotels use them as a way to get rid of their "lemon" rooms, which can't be rented otherwise.
The location was quite good. Cleanliness of the room also was good with an well equipped bathroom.
The hotel is located in a narrow lane. The windows in the room are blocked completely by another building. The room was too small. 1 receptionist behaved badly.
location and en suite facilities
room a little small - but adequate no breakfast provided but we knew that
Location is quiet convenient, but it's to close to the main attractions of the city, that means you can't find any cheap food close to the hotel
The hotel is preety expensive to it's quality. The rooms are dirty and you have to wait for elevators.
Very near to Times Square. And room facility is well maintained.
The hotel's location is very convenient and the price was less than other hoteles in the same area.
The room was very small and the bed was not good.
Good Wi Fi, staff helpful, great location
So tiny I could barely move around the bed.

Arrived around 6 pm so it may have been the night staff on, but I walked in and said "Good evening!" and he replied: "Name? Credit card number?" I've encountered some rude New Yorkers in my time but this one took the biscuit!
Old furniture, small rooms, slow WiFi, poor mobile signals in the rooms, not suitable for family,
Mattress very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. They always greeted you when you went in and out. Restaurant attached had very good meals. We did not spend much time in room was adequate for what we needed. Close to what we wanted to see.
Could use new carpet in lobby. The bathtub needed updated. The air conditioner loud.
Perfect location Staff friendly
Hotel tired and in need of refurb
