Good location and clean room although asked for a room at the quiest side of the hotel, got a room next to the elevator and had to change room twice. |

its really close to the time square and the rockefeller center. less than 5 min by walk. friendly staff!! and clean rooms. Small rooms and leaking windows. |

Hotel is clean and it's location is perfect, just in the middle of most Manhattan attractions and subway stations. I did not like the windows in my room with no view outside and locked up and I would not dare to stay there in summertime. I also did not like that the electronic key did not work before I checked out, at 9 - 10 AM. |

In the midlle of Time Square, next door to O'Neill theatre. Excellent and very warm staff. Very clean. Not a sofisticated hotel but homy, quiet and decoreted in a romantic style. I warmly recomend the hotel. |

Though diminutive, the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and well-stocked with towels and soaps. The bed was too soft. We could not figure out how to control the temperature, and the room was uncomfortably warm. A way to make coffee or tea would have been nice. |

The style of the hotel preserved a lot of the classic old world charm of places like the Waldorf Astoria - but without the expense. We found that style to be more homely than the kind of bland motel decor in a lot of cheaper hotels. Having said that - the beds were comfortable, the room was warm, with nice lighting. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise as well with it's black marble finish, good lighting and nice fixtures. The Mayfair was well located, and we were totally in love with our temporary home in New York. Having a computer in the room was great, but the version of internet explorer was kind of old and didn't support some modern web functionality. I'm part geek - so that was well noted. :) |

Room was small but comfortable and well-kept. Hotel was exactly as described on website so there was no surprises. Location at 49th and Broadway was perfect for theatre-goers. |

Everything (safe for a couple of things mentioned below) was very good, the rooms are nice, and beds are comfortable. The hotel did not have an adaptor to charge the European mobiles etc (while other hotels where I stayed did offer it) and refused to buy one, so I bought it at my own expense. The toilet was not clean at the day of my arrival and the maid was obviously forgetting to clean it the next day of my stay even though I left a note with the Reception.. |

The location was excellent, right next to Broadway theatres and Times Square. The room was comfortable. The room was small and the staff not particularly friendly. |

Fantastic location. Evening staff was a lot friendlier and engaging than day staff. Loved the heated towel racks and the vintage photographs in the hallway. It's like stepping back in time. The room was small and had absolutely no daylight coming in. The wallpaper scheme was a tad too much. I felt I paid too much for what I got. |

Conveniently located to Times Square. Tiny room, supposed to be double, but it was so small there was no space on the sides of the bed and the walls. Also, with one suitcase open, I couldn't access the bathroom, because it took most of the floor space up. Safety deposit box didn't work and TV reception was poor half of the time. Ridiculous for a steep price. |

The experience was excellent. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, plenty of closet space with an ironing board and iron. Certainly there isn't a better location in New York for the convenience of food, entertainment and travel. |

It was a nice small hotel. Perfect if you have to stay for a day. Accomodation wasn't high science, but was sufficient. I read the review of booking.com and my expectation was lowered, so there wasnt any surprises when i arrived. Price hotel was relatively cheap compared with other hotels in downtown Manhattan. Windows was sealed so no daylight in the room and the size of the room was small. |

la posizione e ottima ma l'hotel e a dar poco disgustoso l'ascensore non arrivava mai vecchio e sporco la camera se cosi si puo chiamare era un buco e sto parlando della camera doppia la pulizia diciamo che in una settimana che ho passato in questo hotel ho dovuto chiamare tante volte perche la camera non era stata pulita non lo consiglio assolutamente ho pagato 1000 dollari per un hotel pessimo e sirvizio peggio |

Bonjour, Mauvaise surprise à l'arrivée : m'a réservation via votre site web n'etait pas enregistrée à l'hotel. Aucune trace dans leur systeme. Heureusement j'avais une trace papier pour retrouver les elements clés (prix de la chambre), et surtout il restait de la place. |
