Loved the historic aspects of the hotel architecture. Excellent downtown location. Felt very safe walking around. Close to major shopping and all the Seattle main attractions. Very friendly staff. Nothing comes to mind.

We enjoyed eating and drinking in Oliver's bar, the proximity to the shopping centre, the link to the Space Needle. With 2 overly large double beds the room was a bit cramped.

Loved the staff. Super friendly and just plain awesome. The beds were comfortable, the view from our 9th floor room was decent. Everything was wonderful. I loved it here. In the morning I found a shriveled up eatin Apple core under one bed. And a pair of women's corked wedged sandals under the other. While looking for my daughter's shoe.

Central location, ease of access, decent hotel overall The fact that both the bar and restaurant were closed the night we arrived (we had alternative catering arranged, though)

Good location for the market and downtown, comfortable room. IT bills itself as an historic hotel, so while I wasn't expecting anything modern, it did feel a bit frumpy to me.

Location, sitting area in room, beautiful bar and lobby, front desk called my cell when the room was ready on our first afternoon 1 T.V. did not have service, and at that time of day we were too tired to call for maintenance. Too many pillows, and most of the pillows were overstuffed and hurt my neck.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Half an hour after checking into our room someone from the hotel called us to make sure everything was as it should be. Appreciated that extra touch. Not fond of the parking fee. The additional $35 does hike up the cost of the stay.

proximity to Pike St Market, room very comfortable Food was very delicious, service was friendly and efficient. However, because I use a cane, getting to Andaluca from the lobby was a bit trying. Going out to the street entrance was easier but strange. Would I still stay at the hotel again-yes.

Loved the ambiance, beautiful lobby, friendly cheerful staff, great restaurant located right downstairs and gorgeous bar. Bedding was just super. Although the baths were not updated, they were clean and I really like the use of large wall-mounted good quality shampoo/conditioner/lotion - much less waste over those little bottles. We come to Seattle a lot and normally stay at another hotel where we collect points, but have to say, the Mayflower is much more beautiful. Stayed in room 410 - there was a nasty vibrating noise (not our own room's heater/cooler but an outside unit of some kind) that hummed and throbbed - like being on a ship near the engine room. It came on and off during both nights - not conducive to a good night's sleep! The only problem, but rather a large one. We really should have moved rooms ...:-(

Someone was smoking marijuana on my floor and so I had to stuff towels in my door jam to stop it from bellowing into my room.

This hotel was close to all that we needed in Seattle. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and the housekeepers respected our need for privacy, but still cleaned our room even though we left our room later in the day mostly. The bar, valet and baggage staff were very friendly and helpful. The check in staff honored my reservation price. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. On check in, the lady at the front desk was a bit abrupt towards me. I presented my quote and it did not match the price she quoted me, however she honored my reservation. The view in our room was a brick wall and the room did not have a fridge.

The proximity to everything downtown. The lobby chairs were very soiled and dirty, I did not wish to sit in them with my clean clothes.

Great location downtown. Well kept historical hotel. Average cost per night given the location. Noisy heater system. Bad tasting tap water. Shower heads need upgrating to a better spray pattern instead of a stream of water. Parking cost of $35.00 per day was steep.

A beautiful hotel. Lots of room for a downtown hotel. Bathroom could use a paint job. That's it!
