Location, bed and pillows. Not a bad place, probably better for older couples without children.
Small room, no fridge, noise from hvac units on roof below,
The hotel really met our every need. The staff was most helpful in suggestions and making reservations. Housekeeping was excellent. Both connected restaurants were delightful! The location was perfect !!!
The room was much smaller than we are use to in conventional chains. If it had rained I would have felt trapped. Perhaps a mounted flat screen would improve space and a very big comfy chair would improve comfort in rm 418. Also, a microwave would have been nice.
Great old hotel with beautiful furnishings. Location perfect!
Close to Macy's, and to Nordstrom's flagship store. Tons of shopping and restaurants in a four-block radius. Power outlets every two feet in our suite. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great charm, wonderful location
Breakfast wasn't included
Location, location, location. Staff helpful and attentive. Complete comfort and security. Facilitated early check in and late departure. Looked after luggage. Upgraded to a mini suite. Ideal for cruisers as well.
The Mayflower is the only place my husband and I stay while visiting Seattle since 1998. Location, hotel staff and room accommodations are awesome.
Outstanding staff. Lovely, welcoming rooms you're glad to come back to at the end of a long day. Great location for access to business in downtown, and fun at Pike's Place after work.
Price. But there was a 5,000 person tech convention in town and it was sheer supply and demand.
Great location walking distance to most attractions. Easily accessible via the light rail from airport. Were able to offer early check in, concierge arranged for transportation to dock where cruise ship was leaving from and pick up at dock upon return. Accommodations very comfy. Wednesday evening wine tasting offered in restaurant on premise was welcomed after long trip.
Location was excellent. Staff was exceptional...Christine at front desk comes to mind. The restaurant and bar were over the top good food and service. A beautiful piece of history in Seattle
A bit pricey but worth it. Hope to find some "deals"in the future to be able to return more frequently.
We love the ambience of the hotel. Your location is excellent for rrstaurants, shopping, & sightseeing. The staff are always so cheerful and helpful.
The corner room and hotel location was great. A bit pricey for the room. Nice classic hotel.
Bathroom was very small and cramped compared to contemporary lodgings. Would recommend shopping around a bit.
great room service meal - mussels and pasta
In house breakfast option was expensive.
Right at the centre of the city, comfortable bedroom, strong/ free WiFi. An easy walk to central shopping, Pike Place Market. Will stay again on a future trip to Seattle.
Staff, charm, location, restaurants, comfort, ammenities (although slippers with the robes would have been nice;)
That I could only stay 2 nights :(
The older style of this hotel is charming
$35 car fee
The Raspberry Cosmo's. The hotel was quaint and the staff was very nice and polite and the bar was great. The location was ideal to walk to the monorail and the LINK and other sightsight seeing things.
The very small and tight bathroom, and that there was only one small window in the room and the room itself was small and old. I wouldn't go back again no value for the money.
in the centre of Seattle, close to monorail and railway to the airport, good coffee at the room, great bar, good bed and quiet
For this price i expect free mineral water at the room not small bottles that are charged 3 dollars each. Overpriced breakfast
The staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful and the location in the centre of downtown Seattle is ideal.
The room wasn't a clean as it could have been.
the staff. "She" must be pro-active and more efficient.
Beds were excellent, staff very good, a bit over priced for car parking.
There was no fridge in the rooms to keep milk an juices.
Excellent position for all transport requirements, shopping and the market. Friendly, helpful staff.
We stayed on our return from Canada since we had previous reservations. The concierge was very helpful on both trips. Our room was very nice, although not a suite. Very roomy. The breakfast in the dining room was excellent. Location is very good for shopping. (Wish there was something the tourist assoc could do to help all the homeless down by Pikes. Safe place ?? for tourists or children??)
We had reservations for one day going to Canada and one day the next week returning. On arrival, the air conditioning was out. The day-receptionist told us to come back at 4:00 when our room was ready and let him know if we would want another hotel. At 4:00 a different man was at the desk and was most unpleasant that we could not stand the very high heat in the suite (comfort above). When we arrived at the new hotel that this receptioneist "arranged" for us, there was no reservation for us of any kind. We were on our own.
Very small rooms Very old building
