Can't beat the price we stayed there on New Years Eve when other hotels Jack their prices up for the holiday. Proce was very reasonable and room was very clean.
The room is extremely small all the reviews are right. However we did not go to NYC to stay in our room it was clean and neat and that was fine with us. There is a train right across the street that is quite loud, however when in our room it did not bother us at all and it was right across the street from our room window. For people who claim it to be loud and small they are right but it is Manhattan, and the city that never sleeps, what do you expect?
No bed bugs, room more or less clean, bed OK, internet OK, TV OK,
- Every time the maid cleaned the room, she left some hair on the sheets - Our room was not extremely loud but still the noise from the passing trains was annoying - breakfast, but that was expected
The price was amazing! They offered a light complimentary breakfast every morning but was surrounded by delicious Chinese restaurants that were easily accessible. The staff was always friendly, they directed us to a great car service for our trip to the airport and even held our luggage after checking out so we could enjoy our last few hours in NYC! Great experience and I would not mind staying here again.
They claim to be non smoking but the sheets and towels smelled like smoke. I'm glad we decidide to bring our own towels.
Dirty towels and stained sheets Dirty bath Breakfast consists of Chinese bread only
Staff, close to Downtown
Breakfast, small room
It's very easy - although not exactly quick - getting around from Lower East Side; and there is a good deli nearby for those who don't want to risk the many mediocre Chinatown restaurants
The 'breakfast' is laughable - it's all very well to say, what can you expect, but it's worse than that. The wifi is very very unreliable. The building's heating is very extreme - you're either in an airless overheated box or, if you open the window, it's very loud outside from the trains crossing Manhattan Bridge
- Room booked on the day so got a last minute good price - Well located - Helpful staff - Simple but clean
- Bed was just ok - Hotel is next to Manhattan bridge so you can hear the train - Complimentary breakfast is just a cake with a coffee machine
Cancel the promotions in Booking is a fraud
The subway station is only 5 minutes.
Small rooms. There is noise of the trains in the night on the Manhattan Bridge.
Hotel is near city center and interest places to visit, it's convinience for city visitors
I's mear train track so it's noisy Room is narrow for two person, no space to put luggage in
Friendly Reception, nice location. Good subway connection.
Breakfast is a catastrophy, pls. do not book. you ll find coffee and fresh bagles and sandwiches at any corner outside, so keep your money!!
It was in Chinatown.
Customer service, hair in towels, broken bed, disgusting looking closet, hallways smell like smoke even though it's supposed to be non-smoking.
- good bathroom; - near to the subway; - good bed size;
- bed bugs; - dirty floors and strange bed sheets; - the reception team change a lot (never the same guys) and mostly they don't care about anything, some though are nice.
Near from subway, 8 min walking. The receptionist are very helpful and did a good service.
The Water takes long time to warm in the shower. In the sink, the water becomes warm just when the shower is opened. The room is veeeery small. There are some noise due the subway line near which works 24 per day.
managed to get an early check in even though was charged $20 per day...
strong smell of cigarette smoke even though informed there was a no smoking policy
Very clean, safe and friendly place. Nice staff (thank you Tan!). New building, very Good bed and even a view! Value For money. Good restaurants in neighbourhood.
The hotel was in a good location, very clean si quiet. Some people in other reviews complained about the train noise but the windows are very isolated. I really enjoyed the hotel,5 min walk to East Broadway metro
Internet connection very poor
The situation, the price
The room was not really clean. We found hair everywhere....
Location was good to get on Subway close by to head Uptown. Bed was comfy and had own Bathroom Getting Laundry done was Extremely well priced and prompt
WiFi was a bit patchy at times Hot water was off and on too much Hate the hidden taxes etc as the price quoted wasn't what i paid, by a lot
chinatown location, center of everything, public transport very easy to access, free wifi, most staff are very friendly
the room was small. price of accomodation is over priced for what its worth. their breakfast sucked, they only had bread rolls, there was no variety in their meals, there was no laundry room available in the facility.
everythings is alright for me
staff were freindly
Very small room, and noisy
The location was quite good.
The "kitchen" and the cockroaches in the kitchen weren't so good, the "breakfast buffet" was non-existent and the room was extremely small.
Peoples are helpful
The sheets were clean and the towels were clean.
The bed was pushed against the wall, my husband had to climb in. Only 1 mirror, lighting bad, Bedspread was dirty. Staff controlled the air and the heat. Only 1 soap, asked for more and got one the day we left. Wi-Fi (not good)
