Location, friendly, helpful staff, cleanlieness, size of rooms.

Parking facilities, no microwave, no refrigerator, no air conditioner, no close ice machine, over priced for the money spent.

They had walking paths on the property, multiple restaurants to suite any budget and that outdoorsy cabin feeling wherever you were. I liked that there were no parking spaces by the cabins because it gave it more of the woodsy feel.

There was only one garbage can in the room. We arrived at 4:30 and they were still cleaning our room. The train tracks are right there and trains went by in the night (I think that's the case for all the hotels there though).

This resort was the most centrally located in Denali. Loved the convenience.

The line at Starbucks in the lobby is way too long ...needs more staff.

Great location. Handy to all the excursions. Well organized for all the coas of the various bus trips in and out. The rooms seemed new and were very well appointed. We could open our window at night and listen to the river. Soothing.

parking on unmarked gravel field is are bad idea, it can be easily locked in by other vehicles. had to walk quite a distance to get to the building, which is not a pleasure either.

    Great location, beautiful facilities.

Poor value for the money. For $349.00 per night they didn't even have wifi available!.I Get that at motel 6 ! No breakfast included. Most economy hotels include that. Needed to use a shuttle to get around the property. Inconvenient! Some of the room furniture was very uncomfortable. Had to ask to get a bath mat for the shower. Room was really nothing special, just average. Best Western in Fairbanks was far nicer at 1/3 the cost.

Size of the room is comfortable.

No internet in the rooms. Only available in the main lobby and some rooms are located in other buildings away from the lobby. The towels are old.

Staff was awesome! But I think they need a little more of CRM is necessary. Communications between staff as to what the client requested or asked was not always shared, creating a bit of confusion; but their attitudes as far as wanting to help things resolved is great

When assigned to our room, we were dropped at the letter building but the room number didn't match. After talking to the gardener and two other room service people we were finally directed to their supervisor which was able to explain the confusion. We customers don't know how your hotel organize rooms but you work there everyday, Being a customer tired of driving so many hours on the highway or in a bus, dragging the luggage around, hungry, with an elderly parent wanting to rest and a child eager to just be in the room ASAP while trying to figure out where our room is, is kind of hard not to feel frustrated at the lack of knowledge between the staff (specially the mini van driver)as to how the rooms are organized: the poor driver only asks for letter of building and off he goes, but in reality he needs to ask room and letter or name of building room and number before dropping off customers at the wrong site. I would suggest front desk give their customers a little card when they give them the keys to the room with something like this: Name of building: Room number: Alphabetical letter: Or Building letter: Room number: Or cabin number: letter: Room: Or Main building: Room number: And so on, you get my point, That way bus drivers and any staff member for that matter knows where to drop the customers, or how to direct the customers to the right place. We weren't the only ones dropped at the wrong building and the wrong stop that's why is important that something needs to be corrected ASAP

We booked last minute so it was really completely location based booking.

Over priced for a place that had pretty dumpy rooms. The front desk staff was grumpy, but the cleaning staff was helpful.

The location was nice and they have a very nice grill and bar inside the lobby.

No air conditioning, the floors were dirty so my 10 month old child could not crawl around and you rarely ever saw any staff to help you with a problem.

I booked this reservation on line. I didn't see where there was any mention of this facility being linked to the Holland Cruise line which makes it a bit odd for travelers such as ourselves not being part of their group(s). Our next room neighbors were an elderly couple, apparently hard of hearing because they pretty much shouted at each other while talking as well as had their TV volume way up so as to be able to hear. Having our own vehicle there was a bit awkward since we had to leave it parked in the lot up near the road. We had to walk back and forth which wasn't a challenge just not what was expected. I don't know if we would have opted for another place but knowing ahead of time what to expect would have been nice. It's not the usual hotel experience.

The room was in a quiet area and we were able to see some great wildlife.

The long hike to drag our multiple bags down a long walkway ,then up a flight of stairs. No parking for our truck.taking the shuttle all the time got old. Also multiple calls to the front desk because we had no hot water, and a 3 1/2 hour wait to get some. No customer service, they never checked back to see if we had hot water or to apologize that we had to wait so long to even start our day. We missed a lot that day waiting around.

    Great location, beautiful views.

Not being able to park at our near where we were staying. Some of the rooms are set up on the hill away from the main building. We had to park at the main lot and bus up to our rooms. The setting was beautiful, though. Since there were seven of us and a lot of luggage, we were given permission to unload at the rental unit then move the car. We walked back and forth -- good exercise!
