The beds and pillows were great. Elevator was fast. Staff was friendly and informative and accomodating.
Breakfast buffet had no meat. Bar drinks were not up to par.
price and pool
rooms need updated
Staff were great!!
Desk and breakfast wait staff was friendly and attentive.
While we didn't experience the majority of other concerns voiced here, we did find the level of noise to be louder than we'd have liked.
Room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Employees we encounter were all very nice.
Lighting in the front of the room was very low, could not see very well into our luggage place in the designated area. Neighbor keep keep slamming the door.
Majestic decor, central location.
Service, food, parking garage access, noise.
Liked the car museum in the lower level
The free breakfast was poor. I've seen much better selections in discount hotels. No eggs, meats, pancakes or waffles.
This was a horrible experience. First I was told there wasn't a room for us then finally they found one. Well I think they gave us someone else's room because in the middle of the night someone had a key card to our room and it worked and they unlocked our door, thank God we had the metal latch hooked because once they unlocked the door and opened it and the latch stopped it, they yelled out "There is people in our room". It was frightful!! Then we tried to call to the front desk to discover the room phone didn't work we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk!! They said they would send up security, no one ever showed up. Then all night long all we heard was yelling and doors slamming!! I did talk to front desk in the morning and of course there was no manager working that day. They took my information and told me the manager would call me that day. Well its been over a week and no phone call. It was a dirty old hotel and it was the worse experience ever, we put chairs in front of the door we were so scared.
Dinner in Thorpes Grill
Heated pool was not heated Whirlpool was broke and looked like it had been for some time. The complimentary breakfast was poorly run, having to wait for plates, silverware and drinks which are extra are tough to get before your done eating, second day the breakfast was reduced to oatmeal and toast. Ice machine on our floor was out of service. Shame the hotel could be nice if run like a real hotel.
Poor breakfast, you had to pay extra for getting coffe etc
Nice staff, easy access to main roads.
Food was bad and overpriced, nothing close to the hotel, pool was closed for renovations. It was probably a nice hotel 15 years ago.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Rubbed elbows with some real live celebrities from Pro Football. It was an unexpected thrill for my wife and me.
Location, Location, Location Attached Parking Garage with Skywalk Breakfast Buffet
Pool Closed till July 30th Temporarily NO vending on 8th floor
the only good thing was that there is a walk way conecting the hotel to the parking lot.
*you have to pay for parking either on the street or in their garage. *the hot tub was closed (not mentioned on website) *it's outdated, the carpet is probably 30 plus years old. *broken bed *upon our arrival the front desk mentioned they were over booked and tried to fit our family of 4 in a room with only one queen size bed.
Great location, very clean, lobby had lots of character, friendly staff.
The hotel (besides the lobby) is tired and needs an update. The food in the restaurant is reheated frozen food, not fresh. Breakfast was very limited, coffee cost extra.
I liked the location, information about Preaident McKinley, renovation style, friendly & helpful staff!
I didn't care for view out my window - flowers maybe. I think you should have coffee with continental breakfast.
Comfy nice room and beds hotel has nice charm breakfast was good all around good stay
We very much appreciate the staff. The front desk was outstanding particularly Nina and Josh. The servers at the restaurant were equally attentive and extra helpful. The cleaning staff was also excellent and friendly.
The hotel is below average for cleanliness. The swimming pool is unappealing and grungy. The work out room is equally unappealing and so we did not enjoy either amenities. Being that Canton is not the most exciting city to visit, it would have been lovely to have had access to these facilities. Unless significant upgrades were made to the hotel cleanliness overall and particularly the pool & workout rooms, we would not be returning. Thank you.
the entire atmosphere and staff....
Nothing to complain about.
Staff was very friendly; accommodating guest for parking; availability of dining after hours; the skywalk between parking and hotel
Saturday morning wait staff not particularly friendly, especially younger blond woman; bathtub could have stood some cleaning, especially on its outside
Restaurant/Bar Staff were friendly and the food was good.
Hotel decor and atmosphere reminded me of the 1980s.
After the problems and complaints they discounted our bill at check out time.
Had reserved a king room. Put us in a dbl bed room. After giving us several sets of key cards that did not work and one was to an occupied room. Wall outlet was missing and bare wires were hanging out. Fire code? Part of our booking deal was breakfast but no beverage was included. We payed almost $5 for 2 coffees. My parents gave this as a wedding gift for us. It was our wedding night. Extremely disappointed.
No matter what direction we were heading to we were close. Didn't have a chance to use the bar or dining facilities but they looked appealing. Breakfast buffet was good. Coffee was very good.
Check out time no luggage carts to be found.
The new carpet and decor.
Hotel guests showing up for the free breakfast in their bare feet and pajamas. The food for breakfast was pretty bad, instant eggs. The alfredo I had for dinner looked and tasted like a reheated diet box of sour noodles.
The staff was great.
