We rented a 3-bdrm and liked the large units, and everyone had enough space for their own privacy. We also liked the Jacuzzi area. We liked the Karup coffee machine and how well the kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils. Parking in front of the unit was convenient.
We were without our DirecTV for an entire day up until 5pm that evening. The staff couldn't find the problem and finally had to call for DirecTV to reset the system. There were 7 people in our condo and the water was never hot, by the time the last person showered, the water was cold. We had to split our shower time to morning and evening. When I booked the reservation, it said "ski-in ski-out, but the condos were 1 mile away from the slopes, the registration lodge "Austra Hof" was ski-in ski-out and that was so misleading!
Beds were comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. Lovely view and easy to get to. Good for a family. Nice family room with wood burning stove. Lots of firewood. The pool is close and it has a hot tub.
The location on the website is where you check in. It looks like it is near one ski lift but in actuality you have to drive to another location where the house is. This was a bit deceiving. It is near a ski lift but not the one on the map. Be careful with the taxes. This adds a lot more than what the total price on booking.com gives you. One small thing was that the remote control for the TV did not work.
The condo was reasonable, if dated
I was very disappointed to find that Meadow Ridge is NOT located where its management company lists it. The address provided, 924 Canyon Blvd is another of the company's properties, the Austria Hof, from where they manage the check-in process. The Austria Hof is only 100 yds from the bottom of the main lift system and in an ideal location for access to both the mountain and the village - this is what we thought we were buying. However, upon check-in we were directed to another location, over 2 miles away, in a completely different part of town. Given proximity to the facilities was a key factor in choosing this property I felt completely ripped off. When I challenged the management on the subject, they acknowledged that that knew the listing on Booking.com was inaccurate, but list the Austria Hof address made the check-in process easier for them - Complete BS, IMHO, these people are just being dishonest. It was also apparent from the disregard with which I was treated that this was far from the first time they had had this conversation ! The actually address of this property is 3005 Meridian Boulevard, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546. Do not be mis-led, Mammoth Condos, the management company, is very clearly trying to disguise this location.
This unit was very spacious and clean
we couldn't bring our little dog
The cabin was spacious Great location No one around us
when we arrived their were dirty dishes in the dishwasher
Location is fantastic, you can feel nature around you at all times. The facilities are spacious and very comfortable
We arrived late in the evening and it was complicated to find the place for checking-in.
Every thing from location to services.
1. Location 2. Services
Lovely lodging, spacious and clean.
Very out of the way for Yosemite.
condo was good, you get more for your money, yes we would come again.
The address number was wrong and the condo had a weird smell.
Quiet, nice view of mountains, was one of the few condos that rented for only 1 night, roomy, comfortable.
Decor was a bit old fashioned and a bit overdone. Was quite far away from the shops and other services. The manager was part of a hotel that was quite far away. A lot of extra driving to check in and check out.
great condo, fantastic view. overall very happy with this property.
As is frequently the case, the video player didn't work and there were no instructions. It was pretty frustrating the first night. The second day I asked them to fix it and they did, but they should check that there are instructions in every condo and that the equipment is in working order.
Didn't like to need to go back to front desk to drop the keys.
The home was spacious, comfortable and felt much like a family home. We appreciated the family for letting us stay in their beautiful home.
Some of the dishes were not clean, probably an oversight. The heat in the master bedroom remained a bit of mystery.
It was a nice roomy and comfortable condo
It was a little dated and worn. The facilities were okay. It was more of a residential complex, than a vacation/resort complex.
Location was okay
Hotel ran out of towels so we had to use same towels for 5 days. We had to ask for trash bags so we could put our trash in something. No cleaning service. For the money it was not worth it.
The jaquzzi was nice, perfect for relaxing after a day at the slopes.
It was alittle cold downstairs in the guest room at night.
