The hotel has old and tired décor and needs updating. A lower end budget hotel that doesn't tempt me to come back. I think there are much better options in the vicinity for a few dollars more.
A budget hotel that includes a basic breakfast, internet and free parking. It's cheap and cheerful if you are on a tight budget.
The staff was exceptionally helpful, informative, friendly and knowledgeable about travel information, public transportation and pretty much everything, including restaurant recommendation s. The rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable, I slept very well.
close to restuarants
Breakfast was monotonous. Towels need changing.
dining room crowded, beds too soft and water pressure in shower is suboptimal. hotel needs to be refreshed-feels old.
good location and staff are nice.
For sure the most we liked was the attention from all employees. Remarkable.
What you pay for at this price is totally worth it. Friendly staffs, and comfortable clean room.
The water was lukewarm at best in the evenings and mornings (seemed like everyone one else was using it at this time also?)
Bed was super comfy. Breakfast was nice. Convenient location. Lots of restaurants
No hot water
beds - barely a double -
The fruits for breakfast were not available each day during our stay.
It's close to the bus stop and you can be in New York quickly. the staff was very friendly.
Bus to Manhattan just across the street, goes every 15min and in 25min you are there
Our door lock got stuck but was fixed immediately by the time we returned back to our room for the day.
The staff was awesome. The front desk concierge named Holly was so very helpful and nice.
Room size, price
- breakfast items not frequently re-stocked - blanket/duvet too warm and heavy - no hotel name on the wall (used to be part of Holiday Inn chain, old name was covered) - a bit difficult to find at first
- LOCATION: bus stop right by the hotel --> easy access to Manhattan (4 dollars one way, time depending on traffic from 15-25 minutes) - easy and convenient, frequent - also savory alternatives at breakfast - quiet hotel, stores and restaurants near-by - friendly staff - We would definitely stay here again.
I booked 4person, but arrived 3. I think bill should be changed because it include breakfast for 4, but it wasn't.
Poor breakfast Breakfast area too small for number of guests Clock in room gets interference from cellphones and wakes us up
Good location Lots of parking Free wifi Nice staff
Some of the towels could use upgrading.
Very convenient location..bus transit stop for NYC was right across the street..approx. 3.5 miles to Metlife stadium...many restaurants and shopping across the street...this is the perfect spot to stay with easy access to everything..loved it and can't wait to go back!!
breakfast with limited kinds of food
convenient location, free coffee
Price... co worker paid only $99 booked same day. I booked a month early paid $139. Not cool.
I was afraid it would be a little far out from New York City it was probably a 15 min bus ride that cost 7.90 round trip the only way to go can't imagine trying to drive in parking would be 60$ alone plus fees for Lincoln tunnel each day. Hotel is nice we basically just slept there had breakfast enough stuff for anyone. Waffles, eggs, toast, yogurt, muffins, cereal. So if your idea was like ours to save some money it's a great option.
Once we came back to the hotel and found that our room was not cleaned. Surprisingly, we found that someone has entered the room, took the "please do not disturb" sign and hung it on our door knob from outside. I did tell the hotel receptionist about this. There is no one to help you with your luggage either coming in or leaving. Breakfast is ok. However, it would have been better with better choices. The pillows are awful. This is typical of American and European hotels. I needed to use 2 or 3 towels on my pillow to be able to sleep. The hotel needs a big sign in front, or on top, of it.
I could easily sleep at night. This is usually a problem for me since that I am a light sleeper. The bus stop to go to NYC is just across the street. There are good restaurants across the street such as Chillis and Red Lobster. There is also a Lebanese one. There is a Walmart nearby within walking distance. There is a laundry INSIDE the hotel. This was wonderful. There is a coffee machine, a fridge, and a microwave oven in the room.
