Loved the view, the staff and the small amount of guest the place can accommodate, The room was beautiful, the bed comfy and the quiet was wonderful. Just 10 miles from town was nice.
The tub was filthy and there was no water pressure. One of the reasons I booked this room was for the wonderful 2 headed shower and the whirl tub.You could not use both shower heads and the one that worked had very little water or pressure. It took about 30 mins to full up the tub. No outside lights on the first night. No food or drink available not even in a vending machine.
Loved the view in the back of the hills and calm feeling and safe place to stay...never locked my door.
The single lane is a bit narrow...would be nice to have real coffee served in the morning in the main house perhaps!
The beds, view & very peaceful.
The room did not have a chair.
very peaceful, scenic and great tour, night's sleep, breakfast
the town/area doesn't have the road marked well
Great place. Beautiful views. The main lodge is spectacular. We had the entire ranch to ourselves for three days. What a memorable trip.
Beautiful atmosphere.... Loved seeing the wild game and the scenery....
No fresh towels or hangers
Rooms where nice but that was it.
No one around like a ghost town, no clean towels no coffee no ice machine way to much money for what you get. Would never stay again that's for sure. Couldn't even get a bottle drink coke, water nothing. BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!!
Beautiful scenery, even with the river dry, deer, goats and zebras. Beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. Open lodge with pool tables and ice for guest.
Due to the drought in central Texas during the last few years the river has dried up and these pictures should be removed from Booking.com's website. Upon arrival the guests should be informed that the rooms are not cleaned daily and fresh towels are not brought in but they are available in the laundry room, you just need to go get them.
The rooms were really nice and clean. Bed extremely comfortable, neat area. I am sure when the lake had water, it was really a beautiful place. We did a little self tour of the main lodge building, but felt a little out of place not knowing if that was ok or not. Really great mounts through out the lodge.
Would have liked to been shown around before leaving,I would like to see the other bunk houses and accomadations. No one in office, not sure about who to call. Did not have a key to lock the room when we went to town to eat and dance but felt sure due to it's seclution our things would not be bothered in the room. The place seemed like a ghost town. Over all a neat and cool place to stay just a little far from town.
