Great place. Beautiful views. The main lodge is spectacular. We had the entire ranch to ourselves for three days. What a memorable trip.

Rooms where nice but that was it.

No one around like a ghost town, no clean towels no coffee no ice machine way to much money for what you get. Would never stay again that's for sure. Couldn't even get a bottle drink coke, water nothing. BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!!

Beautiful scenery, even with the river dry, deer, goats and zebras. Beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. Open lodge with pool tables and ice for guest.

Due to the drought in central Texas during the last few years the river has dried up and these pictures should be removed from's website. Upon arrival the guests should be informed that the rooms are not cleaned daily and fresh towels are not brought in but they are available in the laundry room, you just need to go get them.

The rooms were really nice and clean. Bed extremely comfortable, neat area. I am sure when the lake had water, it was really a beautiful place. We did a little self tour of the main lodge building, but felt a little out of place not knowing if that was ok or not. Really great mounts through out the lodge.

Would have liked to been shown around before leaving,I would like to see the other bunk houses and accomadations. No one in office, not sure about who to call. Did not have a key to lock the room when we went to town to eat and dance but felt sure due to it's seclution our things would not be bothered in the room. The place seemed like a ghost town. Over all a neat and cool place to stay just a little far from town.
