Melrose Mansion Suites    

Staff was very helpful with local events. Room was cozy and wonderful. Will definately stay here again when visiting New Orleans. A nice walk to the French Market and Burboun Street.

Shower didn't have alot of water pressure.

We loved the location.Very stylish with great touches of welcome I.e. cheese and wine. The friendliness of staff and the service they provided. The size of the room and its cleanliness

Air conditioning of the room was too cold for the outside temperature. However we were when there were unseasonably cooler temperatures outside for the time of year.

Lovely decor nd really well situated to the French Quarter and Frenchmans street in the Faubourg Marigny. Loads of good music and food options...

Staff (Brian especially) were great. My wife left a wedding arrangement in room after we checked out. We called after we were well out of town. We talked to Brian and he tools us he would send item to our home. He couldn't have been more helpful. Management should be aware what an asset he is.

The only thing we didn't like was having to knock and be let in every time we wanted to come in.

Bed was comfortable.

Rain Water was leaking into room and the plaster was falling off the wall due to a water leak that they knew about but still gave us the room. The staff didn't seem to care that water was all over the floor when they showed us the room. They didn't even offer towels or clean the water up for us. Also it is false Advertising because we didn't even get to stay in the mansion. We stayed in the building next to it. The receptionist said that when we booked the room you have to specify that you want to stay in the "main mansion". This is ridiculous. Also there was no coffee in the room. You have to get it from the front desk and this was even in the grand suites. The staff is undermanned also. I'm sorry but for these prices someone should help with your luggage, coffee should be in the room and rooms shouldn't be leaking water. Also the room we stayed in there was a low bass machinery noise all night long. Also the breakfast was awful. Stale pastries and cereal! Really! Where's the hot breakfast? Limited bath soap in the rooms also.

The room was spacious and well-decorated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was great

The suite that we were in had a bathroom with no door! Despite the dark curtains on the windows, the room was way too light - the sun came in in the very early hours. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9:30am - there was no "Do Not Disturb" sign.

Room was good, natural light ,view of the street. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nice in marble. Staff were very friendly and efficient and helpful with advice on best places to go.We swam in the pool a few timesw and this was a great way to relax tired muscles after a long day of walking around N.O.Pool was very well maintained and nice garden setting.Location was very convenient but quiet street.

We wanted to open the windows to get some fresh air rather than using air con, but the windows were painted shut or pinned.

The hotel was very clean and We loved this hotel! Very spacious, tastefully decorated with modern furnishings but keeping the original period features. The staff were very friendly and the location is perfect for anyone seeking a quiet area within a quick walk to the hustle and bustle of Bourbon street and surrounding French Quarter.

The continental breakfast was a little basic.

Too many additions to the room charge, eg. Parking & hospitality. Holding a $150 deposit to cover "damage", this is done when there is no one at the property at time of check-out.

The amenities, the continental breakfast was amazing the room was beautifully decorated!

Small workout facility, Water was cold for about an hour had to wait for repair and heater to be reset Parking was a nightmare!!!!

I'm not a drinker and the wine and cheese event didn't promote non-alcoholic drinks . i.e. soda pop and the bottled water was warm!

Was not Handicapped Accessable! Never before have I been charged a "deposit" to make sure the room was not damaged & nothing was stolen! Still waiting for refund of $150.00. No Elevator. No water glasses in bathroom.

I was very impressed with the high standards of customer service and the quality of my room. Really everything was top notch and I would completely recommend the Melrose Mansion. The room was spacious, extremely clean, luxurious in appointments and surpassed my expectations. The wine and cheese evenings were a great way to unwind and meet other guests.

The breakfast buffet was lacking in healthy options other than a large bowl of yogurt. Different guests were dipping into the yogurt and I would have been happier to see individually packaged yogurts. Coffee was fresh and refilled frequently by staff though.

Lovely spacious room with some antique furniture. Handy for walking to centre of French quarter but in a quiet street - no revellers. In out room we had a bath with spa - lovely :-)

Security seemed a bit low - but no problem occurred and tv had interference.

There was almost no staff present in the hotel, and the service was the minimum you can offer in an hotel. The mandatory package you have to take (breakfast + wine & cheese) is just a joke.....there is almost nothing for breakfast, and the wine and cheese is less than average quality... We were happy to have a Nespresso machine in the room, but there was no coffee in the room, and you have to go to ask for it..... So, despite the hotel is nice, you don't feel welcoming, and for the price, the level of service is more than poor....

TV in room did not work properly Jacuzzi bath was too cumbersome continental breakfast was a joke gardener was blowing grass in courtyard to often and at incovenient times
