Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was full servings and nice.
Indoor pool was cloudy and smelled funky.
Electrcity went off during the night. No big problem.
Beautiful furnishings, nice linens, beautiful room. For the price we paid, the hotel was very nice. We would stay there again. The room was very clean.
The walls were thin, so it was a little noisy - of course we were there during Elvis week and there were A LOT of Elvis fans! The breakfast was in a very crowded area with paper and plastic everything. You have to get there early or everything is gone fruit wise! Housekeeping had weird hours. Our room did not get cleaned the first two days!
great price for the room good breakfast selection clean, secure property clean room
room had a slight musty odor TV was a bit outdated (not flat screen)
I liked everything about the hotel.
Comfortable large hotel with nice facilities as laundry, in and out side swimming pool and hot breakfast which varies each morning.
Everyone was so friendly. The breakfast had a wonderful selection and was very tasty.
The bar/restaurant cost!
Everything! Cable could use a fewmore channels and indoor pool and hot tub could be open longer!!!
Clean comfortable hotel. Fitness area is good.
Wait staff at the restaurant was under staffed. Service was slow.
The staff, front desk and restaurant were very friendly.
I wish they would spend as much time on the cleanliness and renovation of the rooms as they do on the lobby. We did not have a fridge in our room not convenient. we stayed 3 days on the second day I found housekeeping and traded in our towels for fresh ones. Then took our trash down to throw away.
The indoor pool
The king sized bed we had was FANTASTIC, the room was clean and the air conditioner was quiet.
It showed its age could've used a little TLC
very nice hotel staff very good breakfast
they should have a restaurant at the hotel cabs are terrible to catch in memphi period
The staff and guests were so friendly and the hotel was beautiful.
Staff was extremely friendly.
My non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Very little amenities that you normally expect in a hotel room. The room was old. Caulking around tub was coming off, the tiles in the ceiling bathroom were stained and not well fitted. It could be a good hotel value with some remodeling and extraction of smoke and smells in rooms. Shampoo the carpets. The bed was made but the sheets and pillowcases were very wrinkled which made me think they weren't clean. I went to the drug store and bought some lysol spray to clear some of the smoking smell in the room. I didn't think changing rooms would really make this experience better and I was only staying overnight.
Very nice and staff were excellent. loved having laundry facilities on site.
the carpets were very dirty and need cleaned. the unclean carpets left an odor in the room.
Staff was accommodating at check in, Breakfast staff were very friendly, and there was always hot water immediately day or night which is awesome for the size of the hotel.
Only one person was at the front desk. (I stayed a couple of days and each time I passed it was one person). Beautiful hotel, but it seems the owners are trying to cut cost wherever possible (short on front desk staff, bathroom appeared half stocked, limited channels, etc) which makes me wonder where else are they cutting cost?!
Wi-Fi included for free.
The hotel was out dated. When I booked the hotel I was led to believe it was closer to downtown then it was.
Comfy bed. Miss Scarlett, parrot. Good trolley access.
Rooms small dark and dirty. Restaurant food not to our taste. No buffet breakfast.
Not enough toiletries
fast friendly service
rooms were worn down, carpet dirty, air conditioning not working well, pool dirty
Very clean and friendly staff. I would recommend this place again. Nice gym and pool!
Had to wait for the gate every time I came back. For such a large hotel they really skimped on the breakfast. In fact, I've had a better breakfast at a motel 6. The internet connection was slow.
Friendly staff. Good value. Good breakfast buffet.
After checking into a room, we were moved to another room because they gave a room assigned to somebody else.
When one walked into the hotel for the first time the Foyer and Reception were very impressive and we thought we had arrived at a very impressive facility.
The rooms were not cleaned very well. Our room had dust on the lampshades and when I dropped something on the floor whilst looking for it I could see under the bed 2 empty plastic bottles, some waste paper and loads of dust. Our friends bed was unmade one day in spite of telling reception. We could not use the outside pool when we arrived as it was filthy with leaves and dirt which was made even worse on the Saturday after a heavy storm. One member of staff was halfheartedly trying to clean it up on Sunday but it was still not fit for use when we left on the Monday. Very many people not from the hotel let each other in to the Indoor pool and Jacuzzi causing a problem for guests. Although it is called Hotel Memphis it is actually a 35 dollar taxi ride from Beale Street in the heart of Memphis. The Security within the hotel was very poor with youngsters running around and someone trying to get into our room in the early hours of the morning. Did not report the incident to Reception because we had no confidence in the staff. On the whole of our trip this was by far and above the worst hotel.
