Atmosphere, music, friendly staff, room was nice.

Our showers water pressure was so high it hurt. I feel weird complaining the opposite because of course most hotels its too low! But wow it was too much.

I thought that the Hotel had everything that a tourist would benefit from; from gift shops to antique stores, and even history of the Hotel itself. A bar, a pool, and hospitality. It had it all, literally.

Our family stayed there and swam in the pool, ate breakfast at the restaurant, and visited the alamo multiple times, it was right across the street! I highly recommend this place!

Love the history of the place, many famous people have stayed there. Two gentlemen playing guitar and singing in the dining room were great!

    Great location. Staff courteous.

Room very small. Bed supposed to be a queen, too small for a queen. Front desk insisted it was a queen. Will not stay here again.

Great, convenient location, nice pool area.

The bed pillows were something you would find from a flea bag motel, pin cushion stiff and incredibly small. The AC was terrible, probably the same unit circa the civil war era.

A group of friends and I chose to have a quick getaway, and the Menger was the best place for us to have stayed. The hotel is very beautiful, and there are many things to do within the hotel like shopping, reading about the incredibly history on display throughout the museum, and the Sisters Grimm Ghost Tour (which we participated in). I highly recommend this hotel, as it is near a lot of attractions like the Alamo.

The location is AWESOME I love the history The staff was great and moved us to a new room when our first room was too small

The first room was super small and it was pricey for that tiny room The Menger is showing signs of wear and tear - needs to be fixed up a bit The jr. ghosthunters are up walking the halls all night long - I know it's apart of the lure of the hotel but the kids are up late at night moving to and fro and it can be a bit cumbersome
