location, Staff was excellent, everything else was adequate.
Parking seems to be an issue 20 spaces for 30 units
Stay 3 nights per week at hotels, therefore not overly critical. This, however, was a horrible experience and the hotel should be avoided.
Construction and parking
Staff at check in where nice. Decent location.
Major construction ongoing. Tiny gym, no towels, bathroom used as employee changing room. Confusing TV system. Very average room but 4x what it should cost, understand it is a high cost area but expected a LOT more for $400.
Convenient for my trip, right price, clean room, bottled water and cookies in the room, updated room interiors, wi-fi connection, quiet property.
Seeing the roofing work going on was a surprise. But it didn't impact my stay. The room tv was connected to the direct tv box - had to reset the input every time I turned direct tv off. No TV remote. DVD selection - quaint!!
At this time, the hotel is still a construction site! This makes a stay not as comfortable as it could be!
Very convenient for Menlo park. Great room, clean, we'll appointed and welcoming
Raj in reception was very nice and apoligize for the many concerns I had.
They are in the middle of remodeling to compete with the Marriott that is being build near them so I was told by reception. They have significantly increased their price from when I stayed 6 months ago, assuming to pay for the remodeling but you get nothing for the increase, in fact I felt like I recieved very little for my money. Asked to speak with management but never saw or heard from them. Paid $265 for the same room 6 months ago $145, (actually room then was cleaner and more comfortable). If they want to charge Marriott prices then they need to get Marriott quality.
Near Caltrain station. Good breakfast.
It's under maintenance and repairing during my stay. The ground near stair was not well covered and became dangerous at night.
The positive attitude of the staff.
Pretty much everything was on the level. I rented this hotel through "hotel tonight" at a reasonable price of 110 usd - and for that price it was excellent .
Nothing to complain about
Clean big room Kitchenette Comfortable bed and pillows
The Concierge made us the Check-IN for our Flight
Interiors Brakfast choices
Exterior is in middle of remodel
room was very nice; great bed, very clean room. Only small issue, nothing but table sugar for the coffee. As a diabetic, or others who prefer non sugar sweetener, this was missing.
outside under construction; looked like it needed upgrade many years ago
Although they are giving the outside a heavy duty facelift the inside was nice and clean.
Having to navigate through the construction
Service was very good room cleaned in a very timely manner
Construction.... Loud in morning .... Wish they had pool/hot tub
Clean and quiet ! Even with remodeling going on.
We chose this location as it was close to where our son and his family are living. We liked that you provided breakfast.
We were disappointed to see the construction when we arrived.
It was totally under construction and of course, we we're not informed about this in advance. What a mess. Even signs, caution, danger. Would have expected management to at least discount the rooms, but that wasn't even mentioned. Never again!!
Interior room was very nice and well appointed.
The outside construction was unexpected, ugly, and noisy. We were not told of this when we made the reservation. Suspect we would have stayed elsewhere as I was being admitted to Stanford Hospital for surgery and needed a quiet place to stay prior to surgery.
Staff was great, I enjoyed having access to a computer, rooms were clean and comfortable.
External construction was unsightly and a bit dangerous, even though I understand it is temporary. It takes a couple of requests to get broken things fixed. I thought it was not a great value for the high prices charged.
The location fit our needs and the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
There was a fair amount of roadway and railroad noise. They are currently renovating; once complete it will be nice, but the construction mess, while acceptable, detracted from the appeal of the property.
Large comfortable room with lots of nice furniture
Noise from other rooms
