Clean big room Kitchenette Comfortable bed and pillows
The Concierge made us the Check-IN for our Flight
Interiors Brakfast choices
Exterior is in middle of remodel
room was very nice; great bed, very clean room. Only small issue, nothing but table sugar for the coffee. As a diabetic, or others who prefer non sugar sweetener, this was missing.
outside under construction; looked like it needed upgrade many years ago
Although they are giving the outside a heavy duty facelift the inside was nice and clean.
Having to navigate through the construction
Service was very good room cleaned in a very timely manner
Construction.... Loud in morning .... Wish they had pool/hot tub
Clean and quiet ! Even with remodeling going on.
We chose this location as it was close to where our son and his family are living. We liked that you provided breakfast.
We were disappointed to see the construction when we arrived.
It was totally under construction and of course, we we're not informed about this in advance. What a mess. Even signs, caution, danger. Would have expected management to at least discount the rooms, but that wasn't even mentioned. Never again!!
Interior room was very nice and well appointed.
The outside construction was unexpected, ugly, and noisy. We were not told of this when we made the reservation. Suspect we would have stayed elsewhere as I was being admitted to Stanford Hospital for surgery and needed a quiet place to stay prior to surgery.
Staff was great, I enjoyed having access to a computer, rooms were clean and comfortable.
External construction was unsightly and a bit dangerous, even though I understand it is temporary. It takes a couple of requests to get broken things fixed. I thought it was not a great value for the high prices charged.
The location fit our needs and the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
There was a fair amount of roadway and railroad noise. They are currently renovating; once complete it will be nice, but the construction mess, while acceptable, detracted from the appeal of the property.
Large comfortable room with lots of nice furniture
Noise from other rooms
The room was very comfortable, and we appreciated the fact that the workmen got a later start on Saturday than their expected 9:00 am time. It would have been very disappointing to have had that intrusion especially since we were given no notice of the outside construction underway prior to our arrival.
It was disconcerting to find the motel under remodeling when we arrived. I also do not believe it worthy that we should have to pay double the price per night for June 14 and 15 during the Stanford graduation, especially as require only one bed. Our son is on a scholarship, and we do not have the level of income of many students. We will have to look elsewhere for that weekend. That would have been our third time staying at the Menlo Park Inn, and if offered a fairer rate we would undoubtedly return next year as well.
Convenient location. They have done a nice job turning a very average property into a little something more. Bedding, desk, TV all very nice.
It is an old "motel" style property. Price seems driven by location and demand only.
Convenient to Menlo Park/Palo Alto; easy to walk to a variety of restaurants; good breakfast (included); clean rooms; responsive hotel staff; excellent wi-fi (included); comfortable bed; plenty of parking (included).
The room was very clean and fresh. There was a tray of treats and bottled water waiting for us in the room. The room was quiet and our stay was very pleasant. It is located very close to the main street in Menlo Park where there are numerous restaurants and stores. The staff was very courteous and willing to help. I would definitely recommend the Menlo Park Inn to friends and family.
the accessible bathroom, the bed, free wifi, the complimentary in room snacks, and bpttled water. also the welcome and warmth of mgr. matt and the staff.
the bed pillows. I like larger, fluffier, pillows.
Room layout (good desk area, comfortable chair/ottoman for reading); split bath - sink external -- good counter space; room arrangement dampened sound from mini fridge; thoughtful bowl with snacks & water
