Owner accused my 20 mo baby of peeing on the duvet. We purposely left the coverlet out on the floor with the yellow spill showing on top to get the house maid's attention. (We accidentally tipped over 1/4 cup of orange juice on the quilted coverlet-not duvet). She was rude and confrontational with her response "I know what I saw" and "will send you a bill for the duvet". First of all, if my baby's urine was as orange as the artificial OJ served at get breakfast, we would get him medical attention. Secondly, if my baby soiled bedding with unsanitary urine, I would alert the concierge because we all understand accidents happen. Third, the coverlet is plain white, and I'm sure you can easily remove OJ with bleach. And lastly, she should know the difference in a duvet and coverlet, you own a B&B. If you make confrontational accusations, make sure you get your facts straight.
-Weak breakfast for a B&B, stale cereal, room temp milk and OJ, no warm food served like other B&Bs. Would probably get cited for not keeping milk cold with FDA audit.
-Paper thin walls, can hear everything so don't rely on a restful night.
-Outdated bathroom with vinyl floors and rusted aluminum faucets.
Great location. Walking distance to Monterey Wharf and restaurants. Historical Location. Vaulted ceilings in top floor rooms.
