Location wise this hotel was very good, situated in Hell's Kitchen, very close to Times Square (about 10 mins on foot) Price was OK.
WiFi was terrible, they had a complimentary WiFi that hardly even managed to get messages through on Whatsapp. There was supposed to be a High-Speed Access for additional cost that didn't work at all. The Staff was not very helpful and rather grumpy The beds were terrible, the mattress has seen better days. This place is NO four stars hotel.
Location Staff- very friendly, paid attention to my request to have our room ready at 1130 when we arrived in NYC. Super helpful!! Room- we had a remodeled room and it was gorgeous!!!
The bed was like a board, but you can't please everyone The TV settings were hard to figure out
Place is great, it was clean and staff was helpfull.
Wi-fi was so slow, water was cut in area but hotel couldnot provide water.
I travel frequently for business and I'm currently staying at Metro for a long-term contract in NYC. I almost didn't even bother looking in Manhattan for a place to stay because of the notoriously high costs but I was fortunate to trip across Metro on Booking.com by chance - I'm glad I did because I'm saving a ton of money and living very comfortably at the same time. I have to tell you, Metro Apartments is hard to beat! Their apartments are comfortable, fully furnished and well equipped with everything a couple or single traveller would need. You'll be hard pressed to find a better value for your money in NYC. The location is convenient and easily accessible by cab or on foot. Its a very short walk to times square with many local conveniences such as a grocery store, dining and world class entertainment. The staff are also top-notch! The front desk is staffed 24/7 by friendly and professional folks who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. If you're on a budget but want a safe and convenient place to stay with all the comforts of home, you can't go wrong with Metro Apartments!
Location is fantastic! Times square and Port authority bus terminal is a close walking distance! perfect for Woodbury commons.
Unfortunately, construction is happening down the street, hence a little noisy
Very good hotel. Located very close to subway station, bus terminal and center of the city
Close to bus parking, sometimes it's noisy
The Metro is in a good location for exploring NYC, without being right in the middle of everything. Good to have a kitchen to avoid eating out for every meal.
Central location, good value for money, nice room (studio)
WiFi connection works about 20% of the time.
Wish shower wall was frosted, so others are able to use bathroom as well at the same time. The "wall" allows water to spray onto the bathroom floor. Not a good design, however the upgraded tile is nice. Needs doors with curtain or color.
Location is great. we were there during Christmas week and value for money for a location like that is superb. The rooms are big and comfortable. If you need basic room, short stay, 10 min walking distance from Times square and not pay much. This is your place.
Wifi- I think it is a bit annoying that the free wifi is so bad and if you need better connection you should pay. it can be very noisy as the bus stop is just behind the hotel. it is not recommended for light sleepers. There isn't room service, you have to pay if you want your towels changed and your room cleaned. we were fine cause it was only for 3 nights.
wifi can not be covered by all area
Proximity to Times Square & Theatre land Room layout excellent for family including adult son Well furnished
Could be noisy - very close to the bus station. OK if you are high up - we were on the 12th floor
Location is fantastic.. Value for Money
Lift Broke.. Took too long to fix. Some poor older people struggled with the stairs.
Overall a good experience. Great staff, good location, good value, spacious 1 bedroom studio. Would definitely stay again.
great view from 13th floor very spacious
wifi access was very poor
There was no cleaning of my room during my stay
The location was 3 blocks from time square. The subway and bus station were only a block away. The Amtrak station is only 2 blocks away as well.
The manager, Diane. Did everything she could to meet your expectations and the staff was helpful. We'll be back to stay
Very little. Donna Chicago/ Denville,NJ
Easy, convenient and clean. Not as noisy as I was expecting.
Room recently painted which you could smell. Heating in room hard to adjust. Not well sign posted on street.
Very good location. Tere is a big bus terminal near the hotel 5mins away. So can go to all the airport easily. Very close to chelsea market by cab. I paid 6dollors only. U can go to time square on foot .
Not quite home from home but good, though it would be fair to say it was somewhat noisy at night. The noise from the street! The first night I thought there was a storm. Also next door neighbours. Let's just say I heard everything! Good location. Nice modern flat, cocierge a delight and very helpful.
Street noise. Probably needs triple glazing.
Friendly staff, great location, international clientele, convenient to Times Square and the theater district. Great diner a block away.
Not a thing!
The apt. was clean, modern, large (byNYC standards). Friendly and helpful front desk. Great location for catching subway, just a short walk.
Both elevators were out for a few hours Saturday night. Had to walk up 11 flights of stairs. Recent lung surgery made it very difficult. Even though there was coffee in the lobby in the morning, water or juice would have been nice for non coffee drinkers. Also no restaurants or convenience stores close by, bring breakfast to apt with you!
