Breakfast is lacking.
Location to union station
Fitness center is tired and lacks AC half the equipment was broken Safe was broken in room WiFi was slow Rooms very old and tired
Everything I wrote in the evaluation. Plus that is was close to every place we wanted to visit from the Union Station
the entire stay was comfortable. I'll keep coming back
terrible hard bed! Wifi extremely slow!
Price. Proximity to Union Station, Ease of using Bus Service to the Station. It is a Good economy Hotel well located in LA
In ability to communicate with staff
Loved the location to great pieces of LA's past - Union Station, Olvera Street, Phillippe.
The homeless ppl hanging about.
Near Union Station so easy access to the rest of LA.
Can be a bit noisy. Soda dispenser did not work.
location to Union Station, breakfast is decent, tacqueria next door, downtown location.
poor wifi, old, dingy look in hallways, lobby, but accepatable. not cheap for the quality - $137 for single, one night, weekday.
Was close to Union Station Amtrak so very convenient for us. Was very clean. Staff was helpful and polite.
Cheap stuff like smallest bar of soap I've ever seen. Bedding was cheap. Shampoo was so small only 1 of the 3 of us could use it.
Close to union station, breakfast included and clean!
Parking fee that was not clear when booking ($4 per day). No maps available from the hotel.
This hotel STILL takes credit card imprints for "guarantee of payment." PLEASE! Who does this any more? If it hadn't been midnight when I checked in, I would have left. There are more secure ways to manage customers credit card information!!! I won;t go there again!
noisy carpet in common area is dirty
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is helpful and the hotel is very close to Union station, if you're using public transportation.
The wifi could be better, and was almost nonfunctional in sometimes and doesn't seem to exist a higher speed option.
Good breakfast & clean rooms
Close to Amtrak station
The window air conditioner was noisy
too old quite gloomy
Only proximity to Union Station.
Language barrier as staff understands chines well as compare to english
Location is closed to Union Station. Convenience to access any public transportation.
1) Breakfast has no meat or egg. 2) Coffee at lobby is 24 hour, but coffee during the day is not good as during breakfast. 3) Safe in room is not free. 4) Smell in room is likely from old room with old type of wall A/C.
Location. Close 2 blocks to Union Station where you find a LAX nice bus usd 8,00 bus departing each 1/2 hour to the airoirt, the connections to the Amtrak train -very good experience- and with the subway station. Service. Very helpful and solution oriented Korean girl Receptionist, but very poor and less-formal from the Asian man at first.
Not good housekeeping in all aspects, evidently. Blankets apparently already used and not changed, i.e, if washed you can feel it when you touch, smell good or notice its clothing iron work. Receptionist didn't respect the reservation price due to a "lack of coordination between our system with booking.com", charging about a 15%. Moreover, a non-smoking room reserved was not respected. Old towels. Facilities are less quality than showed in the photos. Very bad quality / price relation. All appreciations in in just 1 night.
Nice breakfast Close to Union Station
A bit sketchy at night
Well located for train station and Flyaway service to the airport. China town and City Hall within easy walking distance
Was convenient to book at the least minute, within a 15 minute walk of LA's Union Station and nearby Olvera St for something to do that evening. Wifi worked.
Old and tired, with a fairly ordinary attempt at breakfast. Basically, the hotel needs renovating badly. For example, the Air-conditioning looked like a 30 year old window unit - noisy and blew directly on the bed (couldn't aim it elsewhere).
