I cannot pinpoint precisely why, but I did not feel comfortable in the room during both my stays there. Maybe it was how dinghy the room was. Also, I would hear running water every now and then. It was so loud that I actually thought it was coming from my own bathroom. There was something quite unsettling about the whole room...
Very convenient, near Union Station and Chinatown where I was to be picked up for the tour I had booked. Also, the free WiFi was good.
It was real close to the station and we could walk there.
it was too dirty to lay on the bed.... cannot sleep well while staying over there.
staff was so nice
Although the area is well patrolled by LAPD there were a few to many homeless people for me to want to stay more than a day or two.
Hotel was close to Union Station
slow slow slow internet connection
The breakfast was rather poor, but it is difficult to expect a better one, taking into account the price.
We chose this hotel, because it is a few minutes by walk from Union Station. The room was ample and clean, wi-fi worked well.
Close to the train station
Over price, $137. Is way to much. Unfortunately there are very few hotels walking distance to train station.
You can see the hotel from entrance to Union Station. Older hotel, clean, but it is worn down and seen better days. Friendly staff, but breakfast is just cereal, coffee and rolls. Only stayed there because of proximity to train station. Overprice at $137.00 but only hotel you can wal to and from the train station.
Had some trouble with hot water. Resetting the fire alarm kept me awake on Friday.
Quiet comfortable hotel near the travel center for the car less traveler, Union Station. Short walk to Chinatown Pueblo Lis Angeles
Lack of coffee and local information in room
Friendliness and helpfulness especially Charlene
Street outside was an unknown quantity at night to us as strangers from out of town, but we were given no reason for caution.
Clean room, compact but adequate. Short walk to Union Station, Chinatown, Olvera Street. Staff were efficient and helpful when needed. Good value for money.
24 hour coffee, the owners and employees were very kind and helpful and the location was excellent.
Bed was hard and the place was very dated wifi was not to be had
Very close to union station
The breakfast could have been better.
Location, facilities, value for money. Close to downtown and public transport for those who like to see L.A. without a car!
Very cold and heat didn't work.
Very near Union Station
A very old hotel..probably hasnt had a facelift for many years The price we paid was over the top for the facilities..linen & bed were ok but the towels were paper thin & tiny Aircon noisy..breakfast very ordinary
Close to Union station
Very dodgy/unsafe area after dark. In general hotel seems old and run-down, the elevator is incredibly slow too. My room was missing one curtain and was poorly lit. A really cold winter draft came in all night forcing me to keep the heater on.
Close to Union Station. Friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are quite spacious.
There was no safe in the room, which we had requested. This may be because we were allowed to go to our room before check-in time. The room was gigantic, as was the bathroom. However, the floors were so uneven, as if they had been in an earthquake. There were no microwave in the room, although there was one in the breakfast area.
The hotel was near a Mexican area, which we enjoyed walking through, and near Chinatown. We felt we got good value for the money. They let us go up to our room with our many bags before the assigned time. Breakfast was adequate.
Being able to walk to Union Station. Good value for money. Nothing flash for this price, of course but met requirements for overnight stay.
Suck. I found my credit card being charged 15 dollars much more for no reasons.
Close to Union Station and reasonable price.
The area felt safe, and it was a stone's throw from union station to go exploring. Staff were all really friendly. Rooms were clean.
Smelling room, expensive rate, dirty and outdated facility
Don't expect much apart from the location.
GREAT LOCATION for train catchers.
