This place was exactly what I wanted for a romantic night in the city. Multiple dining locations near by. Bathrooms were clean and luxurious. Best hotel for under $300 Hotel metro has a rooftop bar which was exciting except it swas closed at 10pm when we tried to get a drink. That's the only quirk this place had,

the beds were extremely comfortable the availability of free tea and coffee the facility to use a computer and printer Although I contacted the hotel prior to our visit to inform them my husband would be celebrating his 60th birthday and asked for a room with a good view they completely ignored my request. Check in wasn't until 4pm There was no breakfast facility for early check outs

The location was superb. Having a complimentary breakfast and guest lounge with tea and coffee facilities was very handy. The music in the guest lounge was lovely and the ambience very nice. The housekeeping people were lovely and they kept the room and guest lounge very clean and tidy. The lifts were inadequate for the number of guests, resulting in a lot of waiting around. The concierges and front desk people were a bit standoffish. The room was a bit cold....heating needed to be turned up a little. The view from the room was dreadful.

Difficult to judge the temperature of the water in the multiple shower heads whilst standing our of reach of a deluge of cold (or very hot) water. Found the shower experience a challenge.

I liked the small hotel old world charm of the lobby and the Sinatra background music. I liked the complimentary breakfast and coffee on tap anytime. Loved proximity to subway and restaurants. Loved New York Times paper in the morning and free WiFi Almost nothing . I wish you had views of Central Park from my room!

Location is perfect for a relaxing tourist experience, but also for business. Staff are friendly and helpful; the hotel has a sense of friendly homelinesss and individual attention that you just don't get in big chain hotels. Nothing!

Spacious and quiet rooms for the city. Great restaurant. High ceilings. Lovely decor. Family suites are luxurious. I'm an anxious traveler and feel completely relaxed here.

Location excellent. Just round the corner from macys. Breakfast was poor and not worth the money in an unpleasantly overheated room. Much better to eat out. Reviews I read raved about the service. My experience of the concierge was nothing to write home about.

We were upgraded, at no additional charge, to a family suite. It was spacious, as well as immaculate. We had requested an early check-in, if possible, and our room was ready when we arrived at 1:30. The free continental breakfast was more than adequate, and upon check-out, our bags were stored, free of charge, until the evening. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future! There was nothing that I didn't like. The staff, the room, and the restaurant were beyond expectatiom.

Destination was good: near to Macy's and Empire State Building. There was a rather good furniture. As compared to Hillton garden inn at the same street I would prefer Hillton.

For £100 a night, I can't fault this central ny hotel at all - great room, comfy large double bed, powerful shower and breakfast included too - way better than some hotels I've stayed in for double the price, and about 10 minutes walk to Times Square - Brilliant! Nothing at all

Well appointed rooms--fairly spacious for nyc. Roof deck. Front desk staff friendly--doorman especially friendly and competent. We stayed 4 nights and were scheduled to return after a brief visit to Burlington, Vermont. A family emergency keep us from returning and the staff was fully inflexible, unwilling to bend the 48 hr. Cancellation rule. We were charged 200 plus for a night we did not spend there. We were booked for two nights, and the second night was considerably less. If they had to charge us for one night, the decent thing to do would have been charge us for the least expensive night. The manager, if in fact he was the manager, was rather rude and inflexible. It's a shame because we travel to New York often and would have been repeat customers. We would have also recommended it to friends. However, we will not return. Management needs to reconsider their strategies.

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast is included in the room and is a decent selection of breads and cereals. Coffee at breakfast and in the room was very good. Lastly, after a long day travelling to the hotel, the hot "rainfall" shower was heaven! I was a guest during a very expensive week but I would say that this hotel provides excellent value for money. While WiFi provides excellent coverage in the hotel, throughput is poor. This is fine for casual use but is not good for remote working or Skype video calling.
