View from apartment! (top floor) Localization
staff was very dependant on shift (some were friendly, some were very unfriendly) car park was expensive
For SF sightseeing is perfect, thou region between 5th and Mason has "original" residents.
Location, realtively less expensive compared to surrounding hotels, relatively clean and WI-FI working reasonably.
No refrigerator in the room, no bar, restaurant, no breakfast, no AC, very basic bathroom and room furnishings $30/night parking.
Room was warm. Had to open window and street noise kept me awake.
clean, friendly, reasonably priced for the location
location could be slightly better no breakfast provided.
I liked nothing about the hotel.
The pictures were deceiving. Thee location is horrible and the amenities are extremely horrible. I do not know how they can charge that much money for a hotel that mimics world War 2 hotels in Europe. They have no air conditioning or any climate control. The shower decides when to deliver water erratically. What a waste of money.
The hotel is environmental friendly, very clean, near powel station and the cable car, nice rooms with coffee makers and fridge
The street between mason and the hotel door is a bit scary but nothing happened to us
Location is really good!
Expensive, room very small, it don't have mini fridge and it don't have breakfast.
Free wifi! Excellent staff that were always happy and helpful!
Location was a little bit scary.
Location is good and close to DELICIOUS Blue Bottle Coffee as well as Powell Station
The view out the window was of a pretty run down/derelict building. There is evidence of San Francisco's homelessness problem in the neighbourhood - this is not the hotel's problem - sorting this is the task of all levels of government and the whole community. Come on USA - don't tolerate this level of poverty. Fix your policies and systems and priorities - your failure in this area blights every major city we have visited in the US. Australia is not perfect either but the scale of the problem is much smaller here.
The bed was so comfortable!
Raymond at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind.
No laundry facility or a speedy laundry option.
Staff was nice
Hotel room had all electrical outlets overloaded. Plugs we're loose. Elevator shaft did not seem to have enclosed shaft from outside. Seemed very unsafe. Aggressive panhandlers/homeless all around exterior. Room could have been a lot cleaner. Bath light fixture had an inch of dirt on it. We had res. for 3 nights and checked out after 1 night.
Reception was excellent, fast and you could address any question about breakfast & outdoor tips. The check-in & check-out on abnormal hours was no issue. The parking lot had enough places to store my car safely. Room was ok.
The report of a defective room phone resulted into a lamp replacement which could not turned out during the night.
no have breakfast
Very helpful staff
My neighbours were very noisy.
hotel is great , clean, staff are excellent, value for money is really good. If you are travelling in a group and want central SF its perfect.
Location, "down and out" central of SF. a great hotel surrounded by a ring of crazy people, it is just a little scary.
It was a nice and clean hotel
When you are travelling alone - it is not the best place to be around in the evening.
Good central location near metro bus and tram lines
Staff were nice. Room was great but a little small, but it was really close to public transit, so it still okay for me.
After 17 o'clock, many homeless or strange people appeared around, they yelled at night. It made me feel insecurity. It's better went back hotel before 5 p.m.
good location small cozy rooms
people roaming outside zero sound insulating windows heater no proper entrance markings, i waited outisde the hotel for around 10 minutes just to figure from where to get inn, one entrance was from parking lot while other had doors closed and looked more like a garage door then hotel entrance
The hotel is just around the corner from Powell train station and staff is really nice
Unfortunately lots of beggars in front of the hotel which did not make me feel safe.
