Location is great
Great place to stop for a few days. Great location for walks up to main part of the city. Staff was wonderful. I will be back !
The drunk people talking outside in the parking lot for ever !!! The staff should have addressed that immediately. No excuses - the parking lot is very self contained and small.
Bed felt nice
Another guest claimed to have seen mice and cockroaches
Great value, location and staff
The impeccable customer service and affordability well made up for the outdated rooms and spotty wi-first. I would recommend it for anyone traveling on a budget. Great location with easy access to Trax.
Outdated rooms, spotty wi-first, some cleaning issues.
The staff were great and the bed was very comfortable.
We had an adjoining room to some very loud party-ers. There seemed to be no insulation around the adjoining door between rooms. We could hear every word they said clearly and had light coming in around the entire door. We asked them to quiet down after midnight, then had to call management at 2:30 a.m. again to ask them to be quiet. Bummer! We did not sleep well.
The location was great and the people very nice.
The outside of the room, the hallways were kind of disgusting
I like that the staff was very accomodating and helpful. They k ow my name and make me feel welcome. I have to say the shower was horrible. And annoying, the toilet leaks and the outlets on the wall had two prongs and I had to get an adapter to use it.
Bed was good.
Shower was tiny and had been epoxied with some sort of latex paint, I guess to seal the grout to make it easier to clean. But it was peeling all over and there was mold growing around the floor. The water pressure was terrible and the shower barely dribbled. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet taking off. The room heater was old but effective. However it was very loud and had no sensor to shut it off. You had to turn it off when you felt hot enough. But then when the room got cold again you had to go turn it back on. I wouldn't stay here again despite the location and price.
great location in downtown SLC, free wifi, good appliances
the rooms smell bad; like someone sprayed a bunch of stuff to get rid of the smoke smell -I wouldn't stay again, only because of the smell.
Free parking. Located near many attractions. A gas station is located next door with many places to eat near by. The hotel provides a continental breakfast, fruit and coffee which will get you started in the morning. A coffee maker and coffee is provided in each room. The beds are very comfortable being new Tempur-Pedic memory foam. It is very unusual for a hotel to go through the expense of getting such a good mattress in each room...thank you. We had a very good night sleep.
Although this hotel isn't a high end hotel, it was very comfortable and the price was very reasonable.
The memory foam mattress was amazing.
The free breakfast consisted of mainly toast or a bagel and some juice. We still ended up having to buy breakfast.
The location is about a block from the light rail. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the price reasonable. The staff was friendly and they are working to maintain and improve the building. The Art Deco themed room fit the ambiance.
You can hear your neighbor's plumbing. But this an older hotel and not a private house.
the person that helped me check in was great.
the person that checked me out didnt even care if I stayed. No room service at all after 3 night stay.
The temperpedic bed was amazing. The location was perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
If I had to choose anything, it would be the paint job on the outside. But it's incredibly superficial and doesn't deter me from recommending the place.
The location was good, it was close to the tram line so that we could do a bit of sight seeing the day before. Little to no traffic noise and near restaurants and a gas station next door. The service was good and the price was very fair considering it was downtown. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
The continental breakfast does not contain any protein. Even a hard boiled egg would have been good instead of all the sugar as I am a diabetic.
Bed was great
Shower was terrible
**Comfortable bed! **Extremely clean bathroom **Quick and easy check-in **Courteous customer service
New carpet. Cool Art Deco styled furniture. Good water pressure in the shower. No weird smells at all. Location was an easy walk downtown, would be great for a car too.
Mini blinds would not close all the way, had to pull curtains for privacy. Walls paper thin. Television was very old (could only see half the image.) Zero easily accessible power outlets (no really - had to move the dresser and unplug the alarm clock.)
Great value, comfortable beds
TV is kinda small
Polite staff, nice room, good wifi, low price
Very clean, Staff helpful, will stay again.
The hotel is close to downtown and the immediate area.
The water pressure in our shower was insufficient and there was no hot water.
Very fair price and great location in the city center. Clean and comfortable.
Just needs more updating and fixing of older things...(electric outlets, cracked and scraped bathroom fixtures and tiles)
