Lovely room, very clean and amazing bed!....Loads of restaurants, eateries etc. and one of the best casino atmospheres we found in Vegas. Staff & personnel not very fríendly for American standards we were quite disappointed. Watch our around the pool - food and drinks are very expensive. Also don't forget to ask about the additional charges - on top of booking.com on check in we were told we would have to pay $22 per day for 'additional services' such as internet - this fee is not optional.

I cant say anything good about this hotel I am sorry, This is the third time in as many years I have stayed here. Each year it has degenerated incrementally. It took over 3 hours to book in, I was given a very bad room initially, but that was eventually rectified by a Good front desk manager. However the next room was only just "reasonable" so I offered to pay for an upgrade of 40 dollars a night and cut my loses.By this time 3 hours had passed. I then moved into a Celebrity Spa suite and the inside was very bad indeed. There was a cupboard door hanging off and the remnants of the last occupier was evident. I then complained to the manager but I was told there were no other rooms available. So I had paid extra to get a supposedly decent suite, but it is definitely the worst I have ever seen on the Las Vegas Strip. When I booked out, the receptionist asked me if I enjoyed my stay, and I told her about the shortcomings of a supposed 4 star hotel, but she surprisingly answered " well sir we are going to re-decorate all of the rooms next year".This was no use to me, I had just spent two of the worst days in the overpriced Spa room which was annoying to sat the least. I then walked 300 meters to the vdara 5 star hotel and paid exactly the same room rate as the mgm grand, for a further 7 nights, and the vdara upgraded me to a magnificent corner suite on the 40th floor at no extra charge. Please forget the mgm, you can get much better rooms for your money if you look around.I Can not give the mgm a lower rating....but this is my experience from 10-12 August 2011. Please consider the more upmarket and newer vdara hotel. You wont be disappointed.

When I got there they didn't have a reservation for me..They said I didnt pay,yet I had already been charged on my credit card over a month before.I Am a young women travelling by myself and they gave me a huge hassel..They were not accommodating by any means and to be honest were done right rude..the management were even worse...they pretty much told me I was a liar and didnt care about anything I had to say..I Will never use booking.com ever again nor will I stay at mgm! Also when you finally refunded me after charging me twice I lost $50.00 so booking through you actually cost me 50 more than what the room actually cost. I am in the hospitality industry..I Work in a hotel..my mother runs a b&B..i have never travelled anywhere and had such a horrible experience with the front dest staff and with trying to get things resolved with your staff in all my travells..I Will be letting people know all about my bad experience. You really need to work on your people skills if you're gonna be in this industry.

Mgm has everything you want in a Vegas vacation: well appointed rooms, top notch dining, and beautiful pools. Gaming and nightlife are also very good. I have been to Vegas a half dozen times but this was my first time at mgm. I would recommend mgm to young couples looking for a little of everything (done exceptionally well) in their Vegas trip. The first night we were given the wrong room. Instead of the the Deluxe King room we paid for we got a room in the West Wing. The ww is supposed to be trendy, hip, and cool but we were underwhelmed and appalled by the condition of the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor in a dimly lit gray hallway. It had the ambiance of a basement. The room itself was smaller than a Manhattan studio apartment. And the view? It was of an alley with a dumpster. Disgusting. MGM was quick to rectify the situation once I voiced my displeasure so I credit the staff for their attention. The Deluxe King room was spacious, clean, and well appointed.

Location was excellent, right on the strip. Pool was great and the lazy river was good to relax in. Hotel has everything you need and you don't really have to venture far for anything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were huge and clean, bathroom was huge and all the free bathroom products were top quality. No fridge, was going to be charged $35 for a fridge, unless you needed to use a fridge to store medicines, you were going to be charged for one.

It was a most terrible experience that I had in my life. There was a group (around 5-6 ppls ) come into my room at 11pm at night when I was sleeping because the hotel staff did the double check-in for my room. Also, all the staffs are very rude and the reception desk never respond the phone call.

It's huge! I couldn't belive the length of the halls. This is by far the biggest, most lavish hotel I ever stayed in. The decor is lovely and the beds are very comfortable. Although it is surrounded by excitement and nightlife, the room was quiet and a place to relax and unwind after an exciting day. The carpet was stained but I understand that the hotel is undergoing some renervation. I hope the carpet is replaced.

Very good response to my complaint for waiting to long for the room to be prepared The fact that I had to wait till the evening for my room to be ready and in the mean time I had to check all the time over the phone when the room would be prepared.

Great location very clean and great value for money Do not check out manually on the morning of departure it took me 40 minutes with only 4 people in the queue before me. There were plenty of desks manned by staff but there were a lot of people checking in for a convention . I couldn't understand why it took 10 minutes to process each guest. A question as to why it was taking so long to the desk manageress was with a curt / attitude ridden reply. So check out via TV to avoid this.

People smoking in the hotel public areas long queues at check in desk, once checked in, need to queue again if you have a further query or need an extra room key. This just consumes too much time, especially as room is booked on a credit card with guaranteed payment - there should be a facility to just pick up a key.

It was nice and close to airport..... Cheap cab ride about 7 dollars. The bedroom was so clean and lovely and the bed was amazing soft and made me want to sleep in everyday. It was close to everything and convenient to book shows, eat out, or get transport. Id stay there again for sure. I enjoyed the day spa,and had a nice hair do and makeup done before attending a wedding. I cant eat dairy so I had to plan ahead to eat. And i'm not use to not having a fridge in the room so I made sure I bought water to the room with me. There were not many dairy free options on the menu. Smoking inside the casino was sad to see it meant you always go home smelling of smoke but it was not to overpowing during my stay.

It's was ok overall. The lion thing was cool. My hotel room was a piece of crap. The shower was clogged, the tv was broken, the toilet would run for an hour after it was flushed, we never had anyone give us clean towels or make our bed. The room was expensive for what it was worth.

The wait to see the concierge was about 15-20mins. There was also no one discernible queue, just a crowd of people waiting around in mini queues along a long desk, which meant some people got seen straight away whereas others were waiting long periods. Very frustrating! The hotel is also a rather long walk to the rest o the strip. Don't recommend this for young travelers wanting to be in the thick of it.

The location of the hotel was perfect for the World of Concrete held at Las Vegas Convention Center because the monorail station is at the hotel itself. No long walking necessary and distance from shopping centers and outlets are all within 10 to 15 mins. They don't have complimentary water and coffee or tea unlike the other hotel.
