We loved the Shops. And the TV on the mirror. The Staff at Front Desks rude, not very knowledgeable about the Hotel they work at..The price for the room we had was horrible because we expected it to look luxurious and especially clean & it was neither. The dresser drawers underneath the TV were broken & loose. The mirror under the night stands were hanging. The carpets were stained. The room was SO DUSTYYY! Especially the Headboard.The restroom tub tiles has nasty black grime on wall & floor. Floors were dirty, Carpet not vacuumed, telephone was grimy, main door had all these fingerprints, also the mirrors had lots of fingerprints. The flat screen TV had horrible quality picture. As soon as We walked in room, we contacted the Front Desk immediately after checking in & let the know the Problems, the person replied on phone, "Is the room at least vacuumed." I replied NO & let him know all the Problems that I just posted. A Housekeeper was sent, she just wiped down the furniture & vacuumed, that was it, she did no real clean. This hotel needs a better managing staff to check & make sure these rooms are in the best quality condition & it's not getting done. The WORST HOTEL. Would not recommend.

The hotel was smart and the staff helpful. The description of the room, although not incorrect, did not clarify what to expect.The room was far too bachelor pad like with open plan bathroom and a toilet with a glass door. It was smallish but good decor with limited facilities (no mini bar or drink facility). The corridors to the West Wing where the room was located was dark, bland and subway like. If alone the corridors could appear frightening when deserted. The older rooms (not the West Wing) appeared much better and brighter. The hotel is far too large and signage was poor. This was made worse by alterations taking place. Unless a different room type was available and allocated I would never consider staying again.

The renovations that are being done were intrusive; ony two working elevators during checkout time? That's just silly. The construction was very loud, and there was no renovation discount or compensation. A few drink tickets, like most other strip hotels give all guests any way, would have shown a little acknowledgement of the intrusiveness. After renovations are completed, the mgm would be recommended by me, but definitely not during.

Nothing! Had to run my shower for 20 mins to get the hot water through the pipes so I could have a 5 minute shower. Hotel generally stinks of tobacco due to inadequate ventilation. AC unit in my room sounded like a tractor! If you are from the Jersey shores then you will love this place, if not then spend a few bucks extra and get a room at the cosmopolitan!

you could get lost inside this hotel it was so big. if you really wanted , you could just stay inside the whole time as the mgm had everything you could need from bars to shops to great shows. a real treat to stay here

We were in room 18- 414. Both of our beds had bed bugs . We had rashes and terrible itches all night during our stay at MGM Grand. When we arrived in New Zealand, we went to the doctors and it was confirmed that we had bed bugs. Please pass on this to MGM Grand. Also any chance of getting half the money refunded ? Bed Bugs - most definately . Other facilities were great, the room looked great as well until we slept on the beds at night .

I really enjoyed my stay. Clinton at the front desk check in was Awesome. And very knowledgeable. I was disappointed with the location of the pools and the fact that one pool was closed because someone. Had defecated in the pool. Pool location is horrible. It is located on the opposite of the hotel

The room was nothing as promised we saw a totally different picture than the room they gave us! That was a big bummer for my family :-/ other than that everything was good.

The bad killed the good. Low 4 star is my rating. Noisy with large space under door allowing all hall noise to infiltrate room. No coffee in room and no cnn on cable system.

Pretty great hotel except our shower didn't real drain properly and our room smelled like alcohol- which is guess is normal for Las Vegas. We had a great time anyway. The decor was really neat too. They mistakenly charged me double for the resort fee and when I called the woman in accounting yelled at me and told me she wouldn't help, which was extraordinarily rude.
