The price was ok at $80, but for what you get 59.99 would have been more like it.The rooms were very clean

The pictures are deceiving - it looks like there are balconies or patios - NONE of that here. NO coffee machines or blow dryers in room

The price was great condidering the location of the motel and proximity to the port of Miami is perfect. It was very clean and well maintained.

The front rooms are very noisy. Ask for one of the back rooms if available. It is on a busy street and there is no sound proofing at all.

nothing was there except a old tv and a bed. Even a very low budget hotel provides refridgerator or microwave,hair dryer. Complimentary breakfast is just a Donut.

The Shalimar Hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were extremely helpful by even helping us change our booking and upgrading our room at no extra cost.

Valué for price, location, confort hab.

i like the room, it looked like knew.

The cleaning ladies were screaming to each other every morning while cleaning the rooms, and they woke me up every single morning. They made a lot of noice. The last morning i was also waken up buy a really loud noice coming from the room below, cause it was being done knew, and i would apreciated if someone could have told me about it.

Excellent value. Great location. Close to beach and only 10 minutes from downtown Miami. Comfortable rooms and beds. Overall a great experience.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was remodeled and very clean. Very good value for money.

The beds could be a bit more comfortable. Also, it would be nice to have a hair dryer in the room.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean, and the bathroom too. New fixtures in the bathroom. New tile on floors. Added bonus was the fridge in the room.

Room and courtyard area very clean. Worked great for our one night stay prior to our cruise. Staff was friendly and helpful recommending local restaurants and other attractions.

The staff really made this trip great. Anything that was needed they supplied.

Typical Motel, very conveninent location. 15 mins drie from Miami Intl airport. The room and bed is comfortable. We just had one night staying before heading to Key West. Actually it is beyond my expectation, from the previous comments I had a lot worrying about noise and neighbouring, but everything happy.

The neighbouringhood, the grocery shops and hotel reception all closed like the bank counter (you just pass money via a very small window), that really make us scaring (imaging a lot robbery maybe).

Cleanliness and location (close to Miami beach and to other places at Biscayne Blv)

I stayed there for just one night and I had to change rooms because there was no hot water. No elevator may be a problem for someone who needs to carry heavy luggage upstairs. Breakfast is a complete fake. Rooms do not have phone, so you would need to go downstairs to talk to reception.

The breakfast was very poor and some days it doesnt exist. I complained and the staff said that was complementary. I have to buy food on the grocery. This is the only thing that I did not like in shalimar.

Location was resonable.

No phone in the room. The door did not fit well. There was a gap of about one inch at the bottom. Parking was difficult. You pull into the lot but there was only one entrance/exit so that when the lot was full it was very difficult to turn around and exit.

Unprofessional , unclean , the worst hotel ever

The motel was very recently renovated and everything about it is fresh. Good value for money. Good location nearish to Miami Beach.

When I first got there, I was a bit worried about security. But everything was OK.
