The staff were excellent, Jude the bellboy was a genuine gentleman and extremely helpfull, he did not hold his hands out for tips. The shuttle to and from the airport is a greta service, the hotel is extremely clean and comfortable

We liked the Localization, but parking is charged. The room we got had a very soft bed, small, with no refrigerator, no iron, and the shower was not good. We came for our honeymoon for a couple of days and the price charged was not fair to the service offered. Too many taxes as well.

Staff and the convenience of the hotel for my trips purposes. The room had a very bad smell. It was a very musty/bathroom smell that was very evident and over powering. Rm 1025.

Location is great if you don't want to rush to the airport . Lobby and breakfast room are great too . Breakfast is excellent . Rooms are dull , decoration is old . needs renovation .

The shuttle service to the hotel was efficient. The room was pleasant and spacious. Breakfast was good. The staff extremely nice and helpful. We had booked a room with a view but the view was obstructed by another building outside. Our floor was the only one with such a problem, the floors above had unobstructed views. We did not complain however since we only had to stay one night in the hotel.

We stayed here 2 years ago at the end of a Carribean cruise and loved it so when we went on this last cruise we knew that this is where we would end our trip once again. We originally chose the Sofitel for it.s proximity to the airport as we had an early morning flight.The shuttle is perfect and you are literally 10 mins away! After staying in South Beach for 2 nights we checked into the Sofitel. The hotel is wonderful- with beautiful art deco surroundings, a beautiful lounge and pool area that helps you relax and get ready for reality, perfect mojitos with the best "appy tray" offered for snacking on with your cocktail and, as it was on our previous visit - the best dinner of our entire vacation!! The service is impeccable and the value outstanding. We would not hesitate to (and already have!) recommend this to our family and friends! If ever back that way again we will definately make a stay at the Sofitel a part of out trip. a 10 out of 10 in every way!!

Good pool area. Large bar area with computer/business area. Competent and enthusiastic barstaff. Slick front of house - although porters are sleepy Free airport shuttle Porters are sleepy, slow to take up luggage
