Great location. Just one block away from Ocean Drive and the beach. Between Washington Av. and Collins Av., both avenues where you can get everything you may need, and that also makes it a secure place. It's a good place to meet new people.
Meals are cheap. They were like camping food. Very poor. The staff was horrible, except for Sam, who was the only nice person. The only part of the hostel that looks good it's the lobby. Once you go further into the building, it becomes ugly. Old structures, in very bad shape. We stayed at two different rooms during our stay. The first room at least had a big bathroom, but when they moved us to another room, that one had an amazingly small bathroom. I almost brush my teeth under the shower. If you are looking for party, this is your place. If you are looking for relaxing, you should give it a second thought.
The room was a messy, completely dirty! Horrible place!!!! I do hated it!
This is a party hostel. People should take in consideration this fact before decide to go in this hostel.
The Hostel as I said before it's usually full of people who want to party and enjoy the Miami nightlife, if u are going to Miami to visit the city but trying as well to relax, choose another accomodation.
If you're into party you gonna love the hostel. Location is pretty good also. Laundry machines operate till late.
The beds are so uncomfortable I thought of changing hostels. Rooms and building are old and not that clean.
time was amazing would go back 10000000% sure
nights out can be expensive and if youre in an apartment waiting for the van
I liked that there were meals included

The guy at the counter wasn't respectful and tried to tell me I'm from Puerto Rico, then started laughing. Ok, no problem. Then he tried to charge me 5% extra because I paid with a credit card (illegal in the state of Florida). Ok, no problem. Then I found out there is no pillow on my bed. I asked for a pillow first, he found one but decided to give it to someone else (even though I asked first). I don't recommend this place mainly because of disrespectful and unprofessional staff.
it was central and close to everything party hostel
The AC is rely bad, its always hot inside and you sweat all the time.
The hostel is extremely clean. The rooms were clean 3 times a day.
Poor kitchen. Didn't has dishes or a stove, what make the things difficult if you wanna to save money cooking at the hostel.
The food taste wasn't so bad. 1 Cable TV ok
Owner was rude Tub backed up, showering in water AC not working Cleaning ladies wanted us to take dirty shoes and bags onto our beds so they can mop floor. 30 min line for food no mater what time you get there. Downstairs internet hacked into, so wouldn't allow any connections
Close to beach..supportive staffs
No wifi in rooms
Perfect place if you want to meet people and have fun!!! This hostel is a very good position, few steps from the beach and Ocean Drive. Bathroom in each room, staff comes to clean it several times a day. Basic room with lockers. Everyday the staff organizes a party in the main clubs of South Beach - you have discount price, party bus to the club and vip entrance. 3 basic meals included, nothing special, but for free!
Nothing if you know what hostel means, except a noisy fan coil too close to some beds. Just wifi works only in the lobby, lockers could be bigger (bring your own lock), more sockets in the room would be useful.
well, actually there are not too many things that I liked from this Hostel as I found a lot of inconveniences on it. From my point of view the only thing that could make you book this hostel it´s the location, which is just two blocks away from Oceans Drive ,therefore from the beach as well.
I found a ton of inconveniences at this hostel. First of all, be expected that you might not be on their guest list !! That happened to me twice, and I was not the only one who had this issue. Secondly , if you are someone who is not 20 or you are looking for being relax , avoid this hostel. They organize parties everyday at the lobby until 12 pm more or less which results really annoying when you just wanna jump to bed, as the bedrooms are next to the lobby. Besides that, the bedrooms are tiny and even though the hostel has an employee to tidy the rooms 4 times per day, they are a completly mess. I switched the room 3 times so i know what a I am talking about. Another thing that resulted for me really annoying is that your meals are included in the price, BUT WHAT THEY DON´T SAY AT THEIR WEBSITE IT´S THAT THEY DON´T GARANTEE YOU TO HAVE ENOUGH FOOD FOR ALL THE GUESTS. As consequence of this they suggest you to go at 1pm, time at which they open the kitchen for the lunch time. Same things with dinners. Finally DON´T PAY WITH CREDIT CARD if you don´t wanna be CHARGED 5 % !! ( THEY WON´T LET YOU KNOW about THIS I knew it from another guest!! ). Oh and you ´ll be also charged $10 more at the check in for the sheets and towel which they will refund you when you do the check out. As a conclusion if you´re not looking for going party try to avoid this hostel as is not really cheap at all. !!
- I liked that they organized party buses and that we all got cheaper vip tickets for all the fancy clubs. - Pre-gaming at the Hostel - The location in the middle of South Beach Miami
- That we couldn't open our windows from our room - That our AC was broken and nobody cared about it - We had always over 80°F in our room because of the broken A/C - Due to the fact that we couldn't open our window, that our room was so small and that we had six people in there it was a really bad smell in the room - That they served all the meals just for about 45 minutes and if you missed it you didn't get anything anymore. - That they served the breakfast from 8 am to about 8:45 am in the morning, which is for a "party hostel" just ridiculous. In my opinion they just do it like that because they know that almost nobody is able to eat anything at this time which means that they can save money. - That they promoted free drinks on their webpage which was just not true. One is able to buy beers from their vending machine at a reasonable price (3 bucks) but that's it! - That I didn't get a real bed pillow like all the others did. I just got a sofa pillow.
Great people working there
If you are in a big group be aware that you might not stay in the main hostel. The bigger rooms are located in a different location (5 minutes walking)
Cleaning is pretty good
Food sucked... not worth it Staff was not nice They do not give any refunds if you have to leave early or you have any problems Owners are not nice
I love this place! You won't regret it! Are you looking for party every night, friendly staff and the perfect location? This Hostel is the one for you! Amo este lugar! No lo vas a lamentar! Estas buscando fiesta todas las noches, gente amigable y una ubicación perfecta? Este Hostel es ideal para ti!
Staff was friendly (I have seen guests behavior like idiots... There are always two parts of a story...). The cleaning lady is there all day and cleans the room multiple times a day (!!). Yes, it is old but look at the price. This ain't no Ritz. And if you want to go out, there is an event every evening! Also there is a bathroom in every room. You share, but you don't share with the entire building. And location cannot be better. Don't book if you are on a yoga mission to find yourself, do book if you want to have fun!
The beds... Horrible. But again, I did not expect a Sealy box spring. It is a hostel...
Very close to South Beach!
We stayed in a double room. There was no soap/shampoo in bathroom. No safebox in room.We stayed 2 nights but the room was not cleaned.
Location very good, staff very friendly.
wifi facility not available in rooms. Very noisy lobby makes its use very difficult.
The location was very good!
The apartment was dirty, there were dirty pieces of toilet paper in the bathroom, one of the towels was dirty, lots of black hair in the drawers...and the list goes on. The pillows were really old, bad and dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and too small for two people. The a/c was very loud, but it was better than listening all the noise coming from the street. We have to pay a ridiculous deposit of $250 for the "special" key of the apartment, but the keys were just normal keys. The apartment was definitely not worth of the money we paid, but I guess hotels in Miami generally aren't. Some of the staff were professional and nice, but one of them was very rude and other behaved very strangely. I was also disappointed that there was a free access for anyone to the luggage room.
The solo apt. Was nice
Far from the main area. Had to take a cab.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. We mostly dealt with a female staff member named Sam and she was really great. We also did the party package and that was well worth the money and a really great time.
The only downfall is that my group and I were moved to an apartment that was a different location further away from the beach. However, the staff drove us to and from the apartment to the hostel whenever we needed them too.
