Score from 21 reviews Wonderful
Convenient, clean and all we needed.
The only bad experience was the very uncomfortable bed.
Good location. Good value for price although rooms are very small they are comfortable Good for one night stay. Breakfast not too exciting. No fresh fruit even.
Pretty small rooms not well insulated. Could hear people in next room and floor of room above was very sqeaky when anyone walked.
Clean room and fluffy towels
Hard to find the hotel - it wasn't well marked from the street. The heater in the room was very noisy we had to turn it off in order to sleep. There was no coffee pot in the room - first hotel we've been at in a long time that did not have one. It was very noisy with slamming doors. Breakfast was minimal and there was a sign on the wall telling guests to take only two breakfast items! Don't stay here - travelers can do better at a different hotel.
Convenient to my function
excellent staff and facilities
A larger sign on the main road would be helpful. A first time visitor might not see the road up the hill to the hotel.
Mattress on pul out sofa ver uncomfortable!
The Hillsboro location in fine but the location of the motel in Hillsboro is not the easiest to find, hidden on a side street behind Pizza Hut. The breakfast was OK but limited as is the seating. The front desk staff did a good job taking care of the guests.
The buildings outside color is fine but the color chosen for the interior is horrible. The place could be cleaner, especially some of the rooms that I heard about from other guests there.
Very convenient, safe, quiet, comfortable, and clean.
no responsible attendant
Comfortable, nice breakfast, love the body pillow, and great price.
Very small, few amenities. The website implied that there was a pool, but there is not.
This is a low cost, high value for money accommodation of the very type I was seeking for several nights in Hillsborough, NC, a charming and friendly little town. Apart from the issue concerning my reservation described in a separate paragraph, my stay was a very pleasant one and served my purposes well. Of particular importance was reliable wi-fi access, which I needed in the evening. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioner effective and easily adjusted for temperature.Smoking was forbidden in the facility, which was a distinct plus. I will certainly stay there again should I have occasion to visit Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, or Durham.
I had a reservation for two nights confirmed by Booking.com which I showed reception upon my arrival. I was told they had received nothing from Booking.com and were sold out. I protested but was told there were no more rooms for the weekend. I don't know whether the error was theirs or Booking.com's. I was told that I could sit and wait in the lobby till another clerk arrived on duty, so I took a seat. About 20 minutes later the same clerk told me there was a room after all.
Noise from adjoining rooms
The bed was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, felt like i was sleeping on a cloud. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
No pool, but i didn't have time for that anyhow.
I liked everything. Thanks
The beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. Staff was nice. Pizza Hut next door! That was good too.
Noise from neighboring room. Maybe a fight? Not sure but it would get loud with shouting at night 10-11pm and again at 8-9am
comfortable, good value.clean
Hoped for some breakfast at 6 am on Saturday Bedside lighting Larger bath soap
I made reservation far in advance for UNC graduation and they over sold the hotel. Night before my reservation I only had one room reserved instead of the 3 I booked. Could it have anything to do with the price I was suppose to pay $59! I'm sure they more than doubled that price! Beware
The whole facility had a strange musty odor. I bought room fresheners to try to alleviate the smell. The bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were small travel-like pillows and LUMPY. The hotel sign was inconveniently placed and hard to see so we passed it and had to double back to get there.
the whole experience the staff were excellent I left something at the hotel after I had checked out they called within an hour to let me know so I was able to pick it up before we left town
Room very small
The room smell bad Couldn't change the AC Didn't get the rooms asked for Would not give me a refund
There were a Russell's Steak House and a Hardee's fast food within about a 200 yard walk.
rooms were clean and fresh smelling
wall were thin , could here neighbors next door
