Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport  

Great assistance from the staff on getting my rental car back to the airport. The driver went out of his way to make sure I knew where to go and to get me back to the hotel easily.

Hotel staff was good and cooperative. Location was good.

Front desk staff. Breakfast was good. Location, for our purpose, was great.

Found a bug in the bathroom, a roach I think. Room was not very clean. TV was ancient. All in all the motel was old.

The room was very comfortable. I really liked the window sitting area. The room service food was good. The man at the front desk (Paul) worked a lot, but was always courteous and helpful.

The water did not drain well in the shower.

The driver of the shuttle was very nice and helpful.

The beds were terrible. I slept on the pull out and the mattress was terrible. Very thin and lumpy. The pillows were fair. The springs in the bed were terrible. The queen size bed was some better, but not much.

The staff was very kind. The amenities were amazing. The room was spacious enough but was still cozy and comfortable. I totally enjoyed my stay. And I just want to say again how amazing the staff was especially the night teller and housekeeping.

Very pleasant punctual staff. Able to grab free food at 0430a before heading to airport to stand in line! Picked us up promptly at midnight on our return. Recommend highly if you need or want to stay close to airport before or after a trip.

Rooms were clean except for the radiator-had digusting food and dirt clearly visible.

Large motel located close to the airport, trip to downtown won't take more than 30 minutes. There's a large parking lot so you'll have no problems with looking for the spot.

The breakfast area can get busy in the mornings and you may have to ask to re-fill some food but otherwise I was satisfied.

There were bugs in both beds in the hotel room.

Convenient to airport for rental car return other option hotel has shuttle to the airport. Reasonable price. Staff courteous and friendly. Ok for a one night stay for trip departing PHL. What I didn't like is no fault of the facility or Wyndham.

Lack of nearby restaurants is in an industrial area. Food choices for delivery is limited choice. Only restaurant nearby is Ruby Tuesday and they have nothing that I desire to eat.

I reall like the location and the fact they served breakfast. Staff was friendly and courteous.

The fact that I needed more towels and I have to go get them myself from the front desk. Lack of housekeeping staff.

The staff was fantastic!

Very dirty....hair, dust, mold in the bathroom. Dining room floor filthy...shoes stuck to it! Spilled a little milk and napkin we wiped it up with was black with dirt.

That it was close to the Airport

Some of the Hotel guests were very young and Noisy! I could not get enough sleep!!!

Air conditioning was nice. Bed was comfortable.

Staff at front desk was rude. No refrigerator. The breakfast was minimal and old. And I'm pretty sure when we arrived the concierge rented a room to a pimp who it seemed stays there frequently for hourly rate. Not comforting.

I was quite concerned after reading the mixed reviews, however there was an event that took 8500 rooms in Philly with many hotels sold out and choices were extremely limited. Microtel is a great choice if you just want a clean bed and bathroom and easy train access into Philly. It was once stop from UPenn / University City, where my daughter was visiting - so I was thrilled. Much faster than by cab and much cheaper. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Kudos to housekeeping - the bed linens were very clean and the bath also very clean. Free shuttle to airport was great. Noise was not an issue in room 136, and I had a view of the front entry where the shuttle parks which came in handy. I felt safe as well.

The hotel is more like an old dated motel. It is certainly due for a remodel. At least a good overall steam cleaning of carpets and such. While there were a few business travelers, it appeared that this hotel caters to low budget travelers. If you go in with those expectations, you will be fine.

Hotel was very convenient for our travel. It was near the airport, provided an early continental breakfast, and a free airport shuttle.

Room was very small. We didn't need much space for an overnight stay, but with suitcases it was really cramped.

Staff at front desk very nice asked what time we were going to Phillies game and had cab waiting for us.

DIRTY!!! Ew just gross. Sink yellow. Floor clearly not vacuumed. Burn holes in sheets. Vent to air conditioner for room covered in like an inch of dust. If we had been staying for more than one night we would have gone somewhere else.

The breakfast was awful! I have been to other budget hotels that had at least one hot item for breakfast. Also, I had to call down to the front desk because guests (kids) above me were screaming, jumping and actually woke me up. It was past 11:30pm. Even though the hotel was clean & a good price, I would not stay there again.

Great stay for the money. Most staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. We needed to leave a day early and without any hassles, they refunded our money.

A few staff members were complaining in front of guests. Not cool. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner.
