My flight was delayed and I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 am, and had to be up to leave bu 5:00am. Made clerk aware of this and he could not care less. Said there was a problem with my credit card (which did finally work, of course), and I was telling him my zip code on my license changed from a recent move, but he would not listen to me. There was an ATM, so I said I would use the same card and get cash. No problem with the card, it's just that the ATM machine was out of order and the clerks response was "it does not belong to me". Keep in mind, I have about 3 hours to sleep and this is what I had to deal with. Completely inhospitable clerk at the front desk. Had to speak through a "night security window". There were some "very shady" characters trying to check in asking for an hourly rate!!! Wonder what's going on there....Facility, corridors, walls tables, beds....everything was either unkept, dirty, outdated or broken. Dirt and what looked like mouse droppings in corners of the room. Breakfast was instant coffee, thawed bagels, and apples. Machine with OJ that did not work or was empty. I needed to take the train into the city at 5:am, and he wouldnt allow the shuttle to take me. Said "it's only a 5-10 minute walk"....REALLY????? Will NEVER EVER stay here, or ANY hotel associated with Microtel, Wyndham, etc.
Shuttle came quickly to pick me up at the airport arriving on a late night flight.
