Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ann Arbor  

The people that we checked in with, had no clue what they were doing. When checking out in the morning I tried talking to the clerk about how disappointed we were, but she just told us there were in the proses of upgrading, but everything takes time. The bench was ripped to shreds and the carpeting was dirty. I walked and slept with my socks on. I live in a three bedroom mobile home and if you would have taken my smallest bedroom, it would have been larger then that room, they had no closet so they bought a stand up closet and stuck it in the room, making it even smaller. Breakfast was a piece of fruit and cereal, really? For the price they charged it was the worst !! When trying to talk to them, they did not care. (No pool or hot tub either)

The only have coffee concentrate. I ended at McDonalds for a cup of coffee.

Price. Location (close to a major free way). A grocery store (Busch's) in a walking distance. A micro in the room.

WiFi signal sometimes not stable.

Everything, great experience, was very surprised with how great the hotel is on the outside and inside. Rooms are wonderful, little small, but for sleeping and shower you can't bet the price and comfort.

We did not have our microwave or refrigerator for the first few days. Did mot realize it was supposed to be in the room. Comfortable bed!! Good towels.

Clean room, freshly washed bedspreads and shower curtains, everything in good repair. It was very helpful having many power outlets in the room. Friendly staff. Close to expressway and several restaurants, short drive to city center. Great value for the money.

I missed having bedside lights, I wish there was a mini-fridge. The breakfast was very basic, coffee, milk, juice, cereal and danishes and bagels, bananas and apples. I've gotten a bit spoiled by many places that also offer waffles and yogurt which was not available here.

Location

Room was really small. Housekeepng started vacuuming at 8:00am in the room next to us.

The location was perfect for the reason we went to Ann Arbor. Everything we needed was there, restaurants, grocery store, and gas stations.

Cute Comfortable and clean

The hostes while checking out was more worried about accepting a tip than even saying hello or good morning to me as I waited for her to acnowledge me so I could check out.

The bed was great. Comfortable and like a cloud. The room was very clean. I highly recommend the place and would stay again.

Rooms not very soundproof.

This hotel was located across the street from my class location. It was also convenient to expressways, shopping, and restaurants. The room was quite clean and the shower had excellent water pressure. Which is not common in hotels.

The room was small, hence the name Microtel. The room seemed to be quite clean but the window seat and desk chair needed some attention. On my second and last night, there were several young people staying in the hotel and they were very noisy. I didn't call the main desk but I do wish that the manager on duty at the time had taken some action on behalf of the other guests. As a result, if I hadn't already paid for another visit in the near future, I may have looked for another place to stay. One other small issue is that the staff should remember to smile!

I really liked the friendly staff always willing to help out :) i also liked the breakfast , that was such a nice thing to have right in the hotel room, also my boyfriend was ill a few days and i was able to bring him food in the room and also the staff told me where the cvs pharmacy was so i could get other things he needed, i will definately stay there again, this was my second stay :)

Good price - clean room.

It was adertised to have referator & microwave but the room had neither.

Staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. Loved the bed.

May be a few more choices for break fast should be added to your menue. But in all, it was excellent for the price

I stay here for many times because its good price and location. The staffs are very nice.

Breakfast is only starch and too sweet for me.

It was perfect for my purpose of stay at Ann Arbor. I was accompanying my son starting college at U-M. Location is optimal close to north campus with nearby bus stops for "the ride" bus and free hotel shuttle bus that can drop you at campus and even downtown and pick you up so you may manage without a car. continental breakfast was perfect to start your day. Rooms were spotless..bathroom clean with a good shower and beds are comfortable..and great value for money.

Nothing was wrong... everything was perfect and staff were very helpful

The in room coffee was actually stronger and had better flavor than the coffee in the breakfast area coffee urns. Would prefer stronger coffee available in both places.
