The location

It smelled awful when you walked in the lobby. Hotel could have been cleaner. Rooms could have been cleaner

Room had a musky odor. Beds were uncomfortable and drooping in the middle.

Everything was nice and clean. Plenty of towels each day. Didn't even have to ask.

mold around bath faucets; dust on chair legs; two rooms smelled strongly of cat urine. I paid cash but the man checking us in said I could not get a receipt (which would be itemized) until check out. Upon check out I was told there were no itemized receipts but he did give me a sheet for each room (3). More confusing than it should be.

Bathroom plug shorted out and burned my curling iron cord in two pieces...got free night SUPPOSEDLY on the back of a business card.. price of room was LESS than my curling iron cost. ANGRY AT NO RESPONSE FROM CORPORATE.

The location

They are not pet friendly as advertized. We had to carry our small dog every where we went and leave him in the vehicle because the housekeeper hurt him and he was scared and barked the entire time. The manager was rude! They were always out of linens. We could not get extra towels. We only had 2 small towels each day. We travel a lot and will not use another hotel from them.

Rooms where not clean, TV was not in a good location...and we had to wait for 50 minutes at an unattended front desk just to check out, which delayed our trip back home. :(

we really enjoyed our stay. we have a 6 lb doggie we carry with us everywhere we go. the microtel has 1st floor pet friendly. there was ample woodsy space to walk her which is sometimes hard to find. the staff were very friendly and accomodating. we will stay here again!

its not i really didn't like the set up for breakfast but my husband and i prefer tables instead of booths but on the other hand there was probably not enough space for tables in the eating area.

The front desk staff was the Best, especially Maralyn and the guy. Overall everyone was friendly.

Not enough towels, blankets in the room. Last day, the breakfast was poorly staffed, and for some reason, they had out only one waffle machine, it was a zoo. No milk, I had to call them at the front and ask them to send someone up there, Unacceptable. The biscuit and gravy was horrible, the biscuit very hard, the gravy - flavorless. No donuts. Either have a breakfast or cut it out. At 10, she had things put up as if they were rashioning food. Not a good taste in my mouth.

Breakfast room is adequate but needs painting and sprucing up.

Excellent place to stay. Rooms were clean and the beds were great. the staff was helpful in all our needs. Close to everything, shows, shopping and play time. I will return again.

The manager, Dan, was very accommodating and took care of an issue we had. The staff was responsive and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a toy poodle and yorkie with us and the hotel was very good about having our pets with us. We had a nice area to walk them. Also close to everything. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Good value . Clean

Upon arrival we had an issue with the Front Desk Clerk. She was rude and very unfriendly. Our issue was finally resolved by contacting a Booking.com representative who contacted the hotel and straightened everything out. The hotel clerk had nothing nice to say about third-party bookings and refused to listen to us. She also argued very loudly when I requested a copy of our receipt we had just signed for the credit card claiming our $/per night was not mentioned on it(which it was) and then refused to make us a copy. Very unprofessional. She definitely needs some training in her position and customer service skills.

Microtel offers a very good value. I do not think you could do better at the price.

There was no soap in our room, had to go to front desk. The carpet in front of air conditioner was wet. The bathroom smelled of urine. Breakfast area could have been cleaner.

They excepted pets and the staff was friendly and helpful

The breakfast could change up daily. Its already limited but changing it daily would be good for those that stay long.
