Score from 365 reviews Very good
This Baltimore hotel is one block from the Centre Street Light Train Station, with service to the airport. The non-smoking hotel offers a coffee maker and mini-refrigerator in each guest room.

Location and easy check in.
Could have been a little cleaner.
The locality was good, The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 'basic' , though more than I would have made for myself at home
The street on the side of the hotel is very busy, even at night and you could hear the noise of the traffic all night. - NOT the fault of the hotel owner, seems to be just a Baltimore thing.
The staff was cool.
That we barely had heat and or hot water in the 2 rooms we were giving.
Leaving there The hotel is nothing like it is advertised the bedding I had, had holes in it. The window was taped up and mouldy the hotel smelt mouldy. The continental breakfast was hilarious in no shape or form could it be called that. It consisted of two slices of bread orange/apple juice two types of cereals. No pancakes waffles fruit etc as shown on your websire. Thankfully I didnt see any rats, but thats probably due to them leaving due to thin pickings.
Everything. The hotel manager left me to struggle with cases no hrlp st sll.
Nothing other than the location.
The bathroom was covered in hair, the plug sockets were hanging off the wall and sparking, the male owner was beyond rude, the bed sheets were dirty, quite frankly I've never stayed in a worse hotel.
The room, the bed, the bathroom, the bed, the bed the bed. Did I mention the bed.
The bed was hard and smelled a little musty.
It was walking distance to 30th st Station. It was on the purple line free bus route with a stop across the road. Coffee makings in the room A grocery store nearby Friendly staff
No elevator and no one to help with luggage. Stairs to get in the lobby and at least 20 stairs to haul my 25kg bag up to my room. The place is old and smells very musty and mouldy which made it feel dirty.
just felt dirty when I left there. Definitely needs an upgrade. Lots of issues, won't even be able to list them all.
The front desk staff was very pleasant.
Didn't like anything. Climbing the narrow scary stairs then the extra back stairs was out of a bad horror movie. Bed small & hard...bathroom OMG. 2 channels on tv. Vending machine all the way back down scary stairs. I am sure I saw a ghost!
warm colors nice decor, huge window with pleasant view, large desk, good size room, good lighting. Enjoyable safe walk to harbor area.
large whipped cream caulk lines. Quiet area, yet its still a major city, I was glad I had my earplugs to drown out the occasional loud vehicles passing by.
The room had no air only a fan, the room was run down. Was only able to receive 4 channels on the TV. The shower had no power and the water came out of only a few holes, and when I told the front desk they said ok, but nothing was done. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.
The lights, tv, and electrical outlets didn't work. There were only 4 channels came in and none we're basic news or appropriate for children. This is not a hotel we will stay at again, it's price was not worth it's location or accomadations.
It was a good value for the price and the length of the stay.
Power outlets were hidden and some appeared to have wiring issues.
Room was ok, bit small and old fashioned, but clean and comfy. Coffee machine.
No parking near hotel, had to pay an expensive daily rate a 15 minute walk away. We were on the 4th floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our bags up 4 flights of stairs.
It was the cheapest hotel we could find. It was clean and quiet. It was located near nice restaurants and parks. It was close to public transport.
The staff doesn't know the parking rules: it''s free on weekends but they tell you to pay for parking a few blocks away. I assume there was an issue with a customer and now they make a blanket statement to avoid being blamed for customers being towed.
Price Friendly staff Charm City bus station right across the street (free bus system)
Far from the inner harbor (20 minute walk) Sketchy neighborhood in the surrounding area (don't walk alone at night)
The only thing relatively convenient about this location was the fact that it was close to the convention center and free public transit. The staff was decent and polite.
I was told that this place had free parking, which is always a plus in the city. There was NO FREE PARKING AT ALL. We had to walk around the city in the middle of the night upon arrival to spend money on parking that we were not prepared to spend. Which wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't see a group of homeless people mugging another homeless man during that awful time of night. Very unsafe area from what I observed. The room itself was boiling hot, there was an A/C of some sort that didn't work at all. The bathroom door was broken and you needed to yank hard on the knob to get in and out. There were plenty of outlets throughout the room, too bad you couldn't charge your cell phone without flipping the light switch when you just want to go to bed.
Location (It is a ten-minute walk to the Inner Harbor). The room is big and quiet.
The hotel is a bit old-fashioned.
location and rates
The room was good for the price. It seemed safe and secure, and in reasonably good order. The staffs here is nice and the rooms are adequate.
The location was walking distance to Inner Harbor.
No elevator in building and we were on 4th floor. Building was old and musty and had a stong smell of curry. Room was dirty and bathroom was very unclean. Bed sheets were stained, towels were old and ripped. Probably the worst hotel we have stayed in,and we have traveled a lot. Strongly not recommended.
The lady at the desk was helpful and she allowed me to check my email and print out my boarding pass. The hotel is in a nice part of Baltimore, and it is fine for those on a budget. It is great for a single guy for a few days, but I am not sure that I would bring a wife/girlfriend there for an extended stay. They have daily maid service if you need it. It is a decent place if you just need somewhere to sleep and shower. Cab rides to downtown were only around ten bucks. It's also within walking distance of the Light Rail. The free Purple bus has a stop catty-corner from the hotel. If it's late and you're buzzed, tired and hungry, there is a pizza joint just a few blocks up the street. Mount Vernon is a neat section of Baltimore, and walking around there was interesting. It has incredible architecture, and a number of restaurants etc...
I thought my room was a little warm initially, and it lacked a thermostat. The room also felt a bit dirty overall, but the sheets were clean, no bugs. The bathroom seemed worn and not dirty, just not really clean. Bought my own spray cleaner/disinfectant, and felt better. The toilet didn't flush well, but it worked. The shower was kind of like a garden hose, but I had hot water. I got used to all this real fast, and I was only there for four nights so it was no big deal.
great location and value for money
That it had a bed
