The 9th Avenue subway station is just a 3 minute walk from this Brooklyn hotel. Kings Hotel features a karaoke bar and a 32-inch flat-screen TV with HBO in every room.

The shower was super lame, barely worked correctly and when it did it was a lousy stream. The window in the shower stall was covered in plastic and duct tape making showering uncomfortable. Couldn't use the dead bolt because that piece of the door frame was missing. Having two flat screen tvs is great (one in each bedroom) but only one controller between them is not great at all.
The beds were moderately comfortable and the place was clean.
The fact that, there isn't a receptionist on ground to help a first time traveler.
Location, house keeper less than 5minutes to avenue j subway station.
u can hear neighbour cough the heater is very noisy ，I can not sleep all night
There is NO elevator at the Subway Station so I do not recommend taking the train from the Airport, even though it is convenient to do so. The 3rd floor apt. we had had smokers in the apartment living behind the emergency exit! There is no elevator in this building so if you have luggage - get ready! The TV NEVER worked the 3 days we were there. There are NO utensils in the kitchen; nothing in the kitchen actually. You are a long way from LaGuardia; get ready to pay BIG bucks for a shuttle to take you to the airport.
The location in Flatbush is wonderful. What a wonderful, vibrant community. One block from the Subway Station. The Mgt. let us leave our "Winter Clothes" luggage in the office while we went to Africa for 2 1/2 weeks which was really nice of them.
Tiny tiny room so not great if you have a lot of stuff with you.
Close to subway station and easy to reach touristy manhattan areas plus parking available although we had to pay extra for it.
The suite of rooms we had was bland. The bathroom window needed a good paint job and the door jamb on the front door was broken away and we could not use the deadbolt lock so we did not feel real secure.
The location was good because we needed to be in the area so and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The rooms were clean and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable.
The place is very basic, rooms require decoration (I had cracked sink, shabby upholstery, dusty and not very clean presses + specific smell in the room); coffee/tea and sugar is provided, but nothing to stir it with.
The location near metro, the price
Poor furniture Killed two tick looking bugs in the restroom Paper thin walls and doors, if you will stay in my room you will be awaken by other guests having dinner in the adjacent room No reception to complain about noises at night, at the phone number nobody will answer Very inefficient heating system, during the night I had to wear extra clothes Noisy fridge The nearby metro station has only the local slow train for manhattan not the express one
Safe neighborhood Good housekeeping Reasonable price
Virtual reception did not work as expected.
The room was clean.
The horrid box spring that substituted for a real mattress, the leaks in the bathroom, the absence of a chair or a bedside lamp, the fact that the "lounge" was also used as a storeroom for tacky furniture.
No elevator to room (2 floors up with suitcases). No reception staff - need to communicate via intercom with instructions re: finding the key (it actually worked OK, thanks to a passerby, but unconventional). Breakfast not included.
Roomy room, modern bathroom, great shower, good TV, very good location for our needs. We found street parking close by. Quite decent value for the money.
Near to subway station. Quiet & safe neighborhood.
The room was cold and there was no thermostat in the room to change the temp and no extra blankets.
The price was excellent. Block away from subway. Really clean.
Staff was rude and didn't care to help me. heater was not on although outside is 27 Fahrenheit Communication was unclear making me spend $60 to the wrong address
Parking not easy to find. But not a problem.
Ease of check in and out. Location was good. Worth the money. Stay was comfortable. No issues.
could have used a chair
location and price
Close to metro, early check-in.
We were located in the annex -- not as pictured on the website. The entrance was a door off of the street with a security code pad We walked up a long flight of stairs to our apartment. The entry was tawdry looking. A storage room to the side with a torn curtain greeted us upon entry from the street.
Room itself was clean--basic accomodations
The stairs case to norrow
The. Two rooms for each bed
Walls are paper thin, so if you sleep lightly this may not be the place for you. Subway trains were very slow, making it pretty far if you're planning to play in Manhattan. Queen studio could have used a table/chairs to sit or eat at and bedside lamp (only red mood lighting at bed). No instructions on how to use heater and bed was hard as a rock.
Located two blocks from subway stop, very clean, refrigerator in room. Staff came promptly to fix problem with room.
there is no real receptionist nor a paying point so I had to pay cash which I did not really wanted to
I like the closeness to the subway station and the room is really cozy
The bed had unstable springs making strange noise all night
a very clean and quiet room, possibility to make hot drinks in the room, closeness to subwaystation, the area of Brooklyn itself very stimulating.
Reasonable location, very roomy and clean
very thin walls so you hear everything inside and outside the house; no table in the room; virtual reception works but feels a bit impersonal
very cheap; good location on a quiet street next to the subway; fridge in the room
