Space of The small flat
Well located in a quiet living area in Brooklyn. Car could be parked nearby for free. Two minute walk to subway station Avenue H (we were in location Avenue H). Very clean room, good bathroom.
Virtual reception, no staff present on property. Outside the building looks very bad. Fire escape was locked with four locks.
Location and fact we were together. Faily was there for a wedding.
Someone smoked in the bathroom before I got there. Street side was incredibly noisy. Shades were broken;very light inside. Bed was horrible;mattress felt like sleeping on a futon;on an old very thin mattress. No chair to read or watch TV.
I loved the other property.
1306 H street. The room was awkward in that the television was virtually on the ceiling. The coffee which should have been instant was ground. Room 303 had about a three inch gap on the floor. It was creepy in that you could see the bed from that vantage point. We put our luggage on the floor there to keep the light out. The closet had one back up towel and the previous occupants hat and a random bag.
The maid came everyday and made sure the room was tidied and had fresh towels. Very private. Hardly heard or saw other guests. Check in is very convenient.
The location of the junior suite is in the middle of no where. Although its easy to get to the train station, there weren't really places that were willing to deliver or that were in walking distance for a decent meal.
Door like broken Nobody for attending you a hall like entrance no security bad sensation
Parking is a problem even with parking reservation
They gave me another room, not that room, which was on the picture in booking.com.
price available parking location
Advertised as cozy but in reality was outdated and cramped. It is a converted residence with no staff on site - I felt like I was house sitting.
We were looking for a clean, comfortable economical place to stay and we found that at Midwood Suites. Certainly a no frills kind of place but adequate for our needs. While our room was very small, I had the opportunity to see other suites on the property and was quite impressed with their size and appearance and will inquire about them on our next visit to NYC. Our suite was only a block from the main subway line to Manhattan and was exactly what we were looking for. We had to check out before our late afternoon flight time and you were gracious enough to store our luggage for us until we were ready to leave. Overall, we were very pleased.
For the money, there really wasn't anything that we can complain about. It was very basic, but certainly filled our needs.
the location, it's near the subway and there's a lot of place to eat near there.
i stayed in room 103, they didn't clean my room on the first day i stayed, so the bed is still in mess and there's trashes everywhere, it was disgusting. good thing they cleaned the room thoroughly in the second day after i phoned the owner. an extra maid/cleaning service would definitely improve this place a lot.
Nice neighbourhood, the Q train station is close.
There is no reception, just a doorbell what can phone. But they are not always available, so you should wait in front of the door with luggages. There wasn't table in the room. You can feel the spiral in mattress with your back, it's really uncomfortable.
Place was clean, I had all the amenities I expected and got in and out with no hassle.
Water flowed from the shower onto the bathroom floor despite shower curtain.
Cleanliness and quiet
Had to share an iron and ironing board with the other rooms. As a single young mail i found this counter intuitive for such inexpensive items
location was close to relatives
building was old and run down. tv wasn't connected in our room and staff never fixed it although i called twice for assistance. shower was moldy near window. double lock on main door room was non functioning and had exposed drywall. backyard to house looked like a junk yard from room window.
The bathroom wasn't what I expected but was good for the price will stay again when coming to N Y.
A nice residential area, near to local shops/food vendors. I felt safe walking around day and night. Room was clean and tidy.
Location was convenient if visiting in the area but not if you are headed for Manhattan.
Condition of suite was poor. There were bugs in the bathroom. The rooms were overpriced even at these rates. There were a lack of outlets. There are no employees on site.
The rooms were tastefully decorated, it was nicely kept (clean)...it was comfortable (beds)...
had to call for assistance to tune the TV but had great response...kitchen was deficient in utensils for any serious cooking...no corkscrews to open beer/wine bottles...overhead noise from person(s) overhead...
There was nothing to like. We drove from Texas to attend to some business and we had no parking, two glasses for four people old towels a smelly room and not even a table to use our laptop. Overall it was a poor choice on my part and I regret every moment.
Paying a $159 for a seedy hotel. The fact that cancelation means fees of $159, nobody has money to give away and we had to grit our teeth and bare it. We were so embarrassed we didn't invite anyone over. No parking, no breakfast come on all the hotels offer much better service than that. It suck!
Good value for the money. Unit had a kitchenette which was very useful.
Paper thin walls. Could hear every conversation from the room next door as if it was in my room. Not everything worked, e.g. TV.
There was mouse in my room. No sorry. Only give me to options:check out or transfer to . other room 2:00AM
No glasses or flatware Very narrow stairs make taking a suitcase difficult
The two rooms were a plus- the kitchen sink- the price - the location
If you lock your keys in the room forget it there is no one to help you get back in. We forgot the room key and the manager was about to leave but we caught him on the phone and he told us were lucky or else we wouldve been locked out until the next day. Also, key replacement is 150$ which is crazy. The maid didnt come clean the room. The shower head sucked-
clean, all basic amenities available. walk-able distance from Metro Train station
...not really anything worth mentioning
