Ease of check in/out. Comfortable beds. Very good overall cleanliness. Quiet inside room. Attentive staff. Extremely convenient to all major attractions and shopping. Within budget for amenities.

Lobby non-existing, chaotic and crowded. Elevators slow to arrive to requested floor and lobby.

The rooms were clean. I liked the window shades that covered the windows very well.

It was very busy at check out especially when trying to store and retrieve luggage - allow lots of time! The hotel is undergoing a reno in the lobby which did not help. It is a very very busy hotel so if u want quiet this is not for you.

Location. Good bed.

Extreme noise from airconditioning. Also from aircon fans outside. My room had no view at all. Hotels in New York are quite expensive, this one is no exception.Some remodelling works cause a little chaotic temporary lobby.

Blood on sheets on one of the beds. Bathroom very small. Did not know the construction was going on. Elevators were ridiculous having to get on 1 to go to one floor and then get off to get another elevator to get upstairs. I probably would not stay here again.

Great location, and nice rooms

In the middle of a refurb so communial areas were like a building site, they were clearly understaffed on reception as there were always queues of at least 15-20 waiting to check in and out. Air con in room was extremley noisy

The service offered by the hotel was sloppy, and there are several instances where I ended up extremely frustrated by the Hotel. Firstly, I had an outstanding balance on my bill that did not go though, and instead of calling me, and asking to provide another credit card, or pay cash, they simply locked me out of my room, with no explanation, leaving me to queue at the front desk for half-an hour, in order to find out why my key was not working. Finally when I did get to speak to the manager I told him I couldn't clear the bill unless they let me back in my room so I could get my money from the safe! Secondly, my room was left unmade on the last day of my trip, and when I called housekeeping they first told me it was because I left a "do not disturb" sign outside my door (I did not), and then assured me someone would come, after calling two more times, I gave up, and was forced to re-use old towels and make my own bed! Furthermore, the hotel is undergoing renovation, which also did not help the situation, I had to wait for 30 minutes just to leave by luggage with the Concierge. I have stayed in numerous hotels, from five-star luxury hotels in Dubai to unrated hotels in the villages of Africa, but I can unequivocally state that the Milford Hotel was the worst experience I have had at a hotel, a situation not helped my their incredibly tiny and claustrophobic rooms, and dark colour scheme.

Nothing really, renovation was going on but it was well managed no major disruptions.

Very very disappointed with the remodeling and construction. Poor signage for directions within the hotel itself. Would not stay here again to construction is all done.

Proximity to Times Square and all other tourist attractions including subway, shopping and restaurants. Great location. Rooms have been recently renovated and nicely appointed.

The hotel is still being renovated. The lobby isn't finished yet which caused massive crowding at Check in. The elevators were too slow to keep up with the demand.

Rooms was supposed to be 185sq as advertised but when check in was given a room abt 100sq. The toilet/bathroom has a terrible ongoing stench like dead rats. Receptionist was the most unhelpful, rude and frustrated people I have come across holding the position of customer handling staff. They need to be properly trained for the job.
