Convenient, good value. Rooms are smaller than average hotel rooms, typical for NYC.
sewage back up in tub when we got back for the night.
Staff was very nice moved us to a new room.
Rooms are a little on the small side and our bathroom door didnt lock but bar that it was great!
Right round the corner from the Broadway shows, near great restaurants and Time square.
Wifi was very patchy in room.
The Room and hotel in general.
Lack of sit-down dining facilities in hotel - food available was all 'takeaway' style with very limited seating Noise from major cooling equipment beneath the window Bar was expensive
Central location nr Times Square Comfortable rooms Modern facilities Lots of restaurants nearby
Air conditioning was a bit intense.
Hotel is so central. Funky hotel with a youthful vibe. Really enjoyed my stay here.
We had a fire scare due to fire in alley next door. Fire alarm went off and there was chaos all over. Staff just was not able to manage the situation. We could hear our neighbors over the wall. Ice machine was very noisy and disturbed us all night.
Busy street outside the hotel with energetic sightseeing agents and lots of people.. Some traffic noise audible in our room (ear plugs recommended for sensitive people). Loud music in the reception.
You have come to the right place If you like staying at a huge hotel with big crowds of tourists. Due to good but unpersonal logistics everything worked fine for us. . You will have walking distance to many major tourist attractions on Manhattan and subway and bus lines right outside the front door. We had a rather small room but it was well planned and was functional. . Daily cleaning was excellent. We appreciated to have a safe in our room.
The staff was rude, the room was dirty and in disrepair, and I felt like I was being hustled from the moment I pulled up to the curb. The hotel tries so hard to be chic and trendy but they miss the mark and only manage to pull off frat-house dorm room. Unless you absolutely HAVE to stay in Times Square and this is the only place with vacancy, book a room elsewhere. There are much nicer and more spacious places with more reasonable rates throughout the city.
I liked the maintenance staff. Unfortunately I had the pleasure of getting to know them well since the room was falling apart around us. At $300 per night I don't think its too much to ask to have a bathroom door that closes, a bathtub that drains, and outlets that work.
Small beds. Would've rather a queen or king size bed.
location was great.
room very small.....heater /air very very loud..main unit under my window ...room unit sounded like a plane ready tio take off...had to turn off to get to sleep...lobby too crowed
Thin walls. We could hear everything going on outside and the room next door.
It was very clean and convenient.
It's location is its biggest attraction and biggest flaw. This hotel feels like a train station at night. Getting into and out of the lift was a mission of its own. The area it is located in if extremely contested. Other hotels elsewhere had a much more relaxed atmosphere. This hotel unfortunately didn't make me feel like I was on holiday unfortunately which was sad. Manhattan is easy to navigate so the need to stay in the heart of Times Square was probably not necessary and the crowds could have been avoided by staying in a hotel a very blocks further away.
We stayed in a deluxe king room. The bed was magnificent and ample space especially for a new York hotel. Nice view out onto the Hudson River was nice. The cleaning staff was very diligent. It's conveniently located to major attractions. The Apple Macs in the lobby was a nice touch. However we had similar facilities at the other hotel we stayed at so this might be a common thing at most hotels in NYC.
Concierge and luggage team surly and unhelpful
Reception kindly changed our room. Original was small ...
The elevators, checking in, checking out, baggage claim. All too slow. Upcharges to the room for a king bed, corner room; things I would get for free other places. Too expensive when it was all 'added on'.
The room was quiet.
The carpet was dirty. I'm not sure they cleaned it after the last guests.
The beds were very comfy, the location was close enough to the action but far enough away to be quiet.
Hotel is so booked it caused them to struggle with flexibility
My room 1500
Provided it is a big property with so many rooms on it, the check in and concierge balcony are always with long lines.
Excellent location and internet speed. The lobby is great and offer facilities like a concierge, computers where you can surf on internet for free and also print your boarding pass when checking in.
Small very cramped bathrooms. This walls lead to a very noisy hotel.
Good location. Nice music in the evenings.
Could have done with a bit more information about the elevators not going to other floors from yours, having to go down to floor 1 and then back up.
The Row is in a great location to get to the major attractions. Rooms were comfy and cleaned daily - not the biggest but if you're out all day sightseeing that's not an issue. Beds were very comfy and perfect to flop into at the end of busy days. Despite it being a large hotel with many guests, it was very quiet, just the occasional doors slamming which is to be expected.
The rooms were very small and compact. Bathroom very small with little room. Dirty in some areas of the room - needs updating.
Excellent location to Times Square. Bed was very comfortable.
Too small room, not really nice :(
Beautiful lobbY , restaurant , gym , location
Too many people... Too expansive The service is really bad
For the cost, I expected a slightly better room. The room I got was tiny, and the bathroom door was a very low quality sliding door that was hard to get moving, and hard enough to stop that I worried for my fingers.
It'd be very hard to beat the location, check in & check out were smooth.
Didn't like that breakfast wasn't included in our price.we paid enough without having to pay for breakfast
