Staff went out of their way to help Continental breakfast was very good
Bathroom door didn't shut right but not a big deal
Staff most accommodating of anywhere I've stayed. Location very close to most attractions.
No coffee pot in rooms!
Bathrobes were great, not to heavy staff were accommodating breakfast was good healthy choices, suggest oatmeal for breakfast great location
Four friends shared a suite staff had to be reminded to provide supplies for 4 instead of 2
I loved the location and the aesthetics of the hotel, very chic, clean.
The pull out sofa was awful! The television quality was poor, parking not great. Inclusive breakfast was mediocre.
Free on- site parking, good size room, communal roof terrace, inclusive breakfast buffet
Ludicrously small bathroom that had bad odour, benches in breakfast room are the wrong height for tables and fairly uncomfortable. Room a little lacking in natural light
A bit pricey..
I liked the 2 levels. It was like being at home. Very comfortable.
Afternoon snack was a nice touch.
Breakfast on the roof deck was great for the view but a safety hazard as the floor was wet and slippery.Food choice was too limited and not fresh.Staff could have been friendlier and more helpful. No elevator or ramp in the hotel does not make it very accessible to strollers and the likes. Room needs to be refurbished and thoroughly cleaned (cobwebs and spiders, carpet was dirty).
Location wonderful! Bkfst on the roof very nice! Boutique style very pleasant.
Bathroom needs maintaitence. Air cond too loud. Lighting poor. Furniture in poor cond and didn't match. Both rooms needed detailing and updating.
Location Pedicab travel arranged by the hotel.Newport Pedicab driver Dana was fantastic. Cocktails at 41 North and dinner at Bouchards. Fabulous!
Has all the amenities and comforts of home. Very clean. Looked forward to breakfast on rooftop in the morning. Nice View of the water. One block from Thames.
Not an issue for us but worth mentioning there are no elevators. Assistance available with bags. Could be challenging for those who cant climb stairs.
- Deluxe Suite - Roofdeck - Service flavored water and sangria :)) - Nespresso coffee and cookies/cake in the afternoon - included Wifi - safe parking in garage!
- loud noises from shower of other rooms - AC too loud - the stairs were not clean enough ( breakfast on the roofdeck causes dirt on the covering of the stairs) - no printing of the boarding pass possible
Great location, very confortable room, and amazing rooftop breakfast with good weather.
Hard to say
the location was wonderful!
-Location -Modern styling -Included breakfast
-Bathroom floor needed to be cleaned upon check in -Heavy dust on ceiling fan in room -Lack of response when within 24 hours of checking out my daughter realized she had forgotten a prescription face wash in the shower. Even though we called and they said they had it and would ship it at my cost, it never showed up. Apparently, they never did have it but failed to call me back and explain. Funny though they did happen to have other non-prescription face washes. Why would you save those and not the prescription wash with someone's name on the label. Very maddening to say the least.
Room was excellent. Great breakfast on the rooftop every morning. Ideal location.
The WiFi was slow but workable. Controlling the room temp was a little difficult.
The location was perfect; close to everything yet on a quiet street a block or so off Thames. The rooftop breakfasts were a delight and a wonderful way to start each day; parking was convenient; having free Wi-Fi was a plus.
Parking was a little tight so we left the car for the duration, but the location was so central that we walked everywhere. Perhaps could have had a wardrobe in the suite for more storage.
Awesome breakfast!! Really enjoyed our stay!!
Complimentary breakfast on the roofdeck
Parking lot and garage
The design was great of the building, old bricks merged with modern design
Unfortunately the staff failed to let us know about the breakfast on the roof, she said that it would be in the breakfast room in the basement, so when we went there we found it empty and assumed we missed breakfast.
This is the perfect location for all sorts of activities in Newport. We liked the character of the building, being a converted warehouse. It is right in the centre of town but just far enough away from the bars in the harbour area to guarantee a good night's sleep. The availability of parking in such a busy town is also a bonus. The staff, particularly the reception staff were so helpful in giving us advice on activities, travel directions and dinner venues. We enjoyed having breakfast on the roof terrace, although the impending arrival of Hurricane Arthur meant that we could only do this on one morning of our 3-day stay.
Like another reviewer, we liked the large shower room/toilet, but missed the availability of a towel rail and somewhere to put toiletries down.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine since we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday which was an unexpected surprise! Location was great and townhouse was perfect!
