The manager was lovely organising a corner room with lovely views. The room was clean and spacious. Would have looked to have stayed on more nights. Service expect ions and organised a luxurious car to take us to the airport for a fee.
Stayed at Suit Room , there was no safe box inside the room, they could not bring one up.
I liked the size of the room and the convenience to my daughter's dormitory room.
No microwave or useable refridgerator. The refridgerator is packed with costly items that the aaverage person usually does not use and cannot use to refridge other items.
Loved the room, 52nd floor, fast elevaor, great view, cont bkfst. Def stay again if we wanted to be that far down.
A little noisy at the top with elevator motors constantly. And of course overpriced food and beverages.
pool & gym was excellent ! Staff over all was amazing, check out morning took abit long because of a very angry couple who never cancled there reservation, but they dealt with it perfectly ! Best atmosphere , would definitely go back again .
The mini fridge was broken when i had gotten there, i had to pay damage fees although not my fault. Didnt eat the chocolate in the drawer of food , and got charged for it. t.v wasnt clearn and made ringing noises.
The lobby area toilets were dirty and smelt . Breakfast was expensive and of s poor standard. Wifi only worked in the lobby.
- Too Noisy, the hotel is right in front of Ground Zero and they are doing lots of construction - The style of the room is a bit oldish - I did not feel the hotel was fully cleaned : things like the carpet in front of the elevator was really dirty
If you're in NY for world trade/Chinatown you're all set. Anything else and you've got some planning to do on getting there. Traffic is pretty bad due to world trade construction and getting uber or a cab was difficult.
Staff a little surly when gratuity didn't meet their expectations.
Very accommodating staff
No free wifi
Comfortable beds, large room
Free internet available only in the lobby
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite, we were not disturbed by anyone in adjacent rooms. Very convenient location for what we had come for i.e. The Statue of Liberty and 9:11 memorial
nice hotel with good location as long as your 20th floor or higher
Far away from center of clubs and nice bars
We had the 35th-floor corner room with a magnificent view of the Hudson Rver and the west part of Lower Manhattan (WTC, Tribeca, West Village). The room was clean and spacious.
No free wi-fi in a room is very disappointing. The furniture is out of date. Rooms need renovation - the common problem of many NYC hotels with stunning city views.
I loved the location and proximity to Ground Zero. The view was amazing from our 53rd floor room.
I think the price is a bit over the top.
This is for Millennium Hilton New York. When I checked into to the room, the window was opened with the air conditioning in full speed. I asked to Concierge to send someone to help me closed the windows, however soon later I realized why it was opened. There were vomit stains all over the curtains between the windows and the aircond duct. After the window was closed and the room started to stink up of vomit. When I called the cleaner, she couldn't believe that I was sleeping through the smell and she had to call someone to help her clean the room. I've complained to the manager which I was compensated with $50 off the total bill. I should have asked him to come to the room to understand the seriousness in this. Anyway, I wanted to just forget the whole experience but on the day I checked out, I had to use the restroom at the Lobby. It was absolutely appalling conditions given that this is part of Hilton chain.
Was unhappy is was anniversary and was showned false pic. Of what I was getting. Not happy at all about that . I wouldn't tell people to go there for ther anniversary .
Not happy and to spend all the money and didn't get what I thought I was
It was so convenient to my daughter's dorm at Pace.
It's a bit pricey.
Receptionists are professional. We came very early and were very tired. They offered us the room in a smoking floor so we could take a nap. It was great and after 15.00 they changed the room to us to a better one in a 42th floor. It was amazing. A great view!!! We got also a breakfast paid by the hotel because when we came at our room it was not clean and we got a free wi-fi as a present to our wedding. We could wish better treatment. Great job!!! Location is very close to 9/11 memorial and ferry you can take for free to see The Statue of Liberty.
Swimming pool is boring and old fashioned and breakfast choice is very poor.
The spectacular view from the window
no wifi in the room. only one small shampoo and bath foam for two persons.
well placed but expensive hotel
the fact that Hilton hotel in the heart of new york doesn't provide WIFI in the room... only ethernet cable (my computer doesn't have this port)... additionally this Hilton hotel... in XXI centaury ask you to pay for the internet... it's NOT free.... disaster from PR perspective
Modern Style, good location, nice view
Pool area needs cleanup, prices shown w/o tax being at booking unacceptable for non US travelers
The view and look of the hotel from the outside and entrance. The meal delivered direct to our room was good.
Although next to Ground Zero, if you want other attractions like boat tours, Empire State Building etc, these are all a taxi journey away and need careful planning around the traffic. We bought tickets to some attractions, and they were not even tickets, but vouchers, meaning you still needed to queue for tickets when you get there.
Location and shops
Parking was expensive
Excellent location as far as the World Trade Center, 911 Museum and Seaport. Room had an excellent view as advertised.
Awful pricey, no breakfast
