Large room, by NYC standards, with spacious bath and dressing area. There was no hot water. I couldn't even give my daughter a bath.

Location value for money speed of wifi connections= Blockage of vpn passthrough makes hotel not suitable for business trips. I would ask to exclude it from the company's recommended hotels for nyc trips. IT support didn't respond on my request to improve it at all. Cost and quality of the breakfast

Very helpful concierge and porter; The view from room (2824) The well laid out room and facilities The fast lift service The receptionist who checked us out on 6 May was downright rude and abrupt. Granted it was early morning circa 5.15 am. Room being close to ice machine - which was very noisy when used and woke me up several times

Suite was spectacular--amazing views and gorgeous modern décor--very comfortable and elegant. Hotel upgraded us to complementary breakfast in the Skyline Lounge and free wifi one small quibble was that breakfast was good but a bit disorganized--they were not staffed for the number of guests eating

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room clean, no shower gels though. The enormous line for the concierge, and also the fact the desk was unmanned for periods. I found the price outrageous compared to other places of a similar grade

Location and the view of the city. Fact that the manager let me check out at 6pm to compensate for low quality of the room My room was next to an elevator (when I specifically asked not be), had a bare bulb as glass shade had been removed on bedside light, mold round the bath tub and a old shower with plastic cord. There are no fridges in the rooms It took me 4 attempts to speak to a manager and a 15 minute wait on the last try. I understand some of the rooms have been refurbished - I would only go for one of these fact that they charge for WIfi

The location was good, and the room was nice. Not telling me I was being charged $48 for parking the car until my checkout.

Quiet rooms, fair sized rooms, good cafe, good location, friendly staff No free wireless offered in rooms: something which is fairly standard around the globe these days! Coffee and tea in the room wd help greatly, as wd a small refrigerator and microwave

The staff was delightful, kind to the children, informative and welcoming. They let us check in early; While the room was not big, it was not smaller than advertised expected for ny City. The room was clean, they were prompt with an extra bed. Then, the view was wonderful: we saw the Hudson River one hand, the Chrysler and the Empire State on the other.

Spectacular views of the East River, skyline and UN. The rooms in one of the towers are tired and not very clean -- black mold in the shower, scuff marks on the walls, stained sheets, etc. The other tower has had an overhaul, with jacked-up prices. I suspect they plan to do the same with the tired tower and are not bothering to invest in upkeep until then.

Great location with surprising views. Not overlooked, nor 'hemmed-in' by other high-rise buildings No in-room tea/coffee facilities, unless requested from reception. Necessary to repeat request, daily.

I liked the proximity to the un and the fantastic views from my room on the 14th floor. I thought it was old, and not worth the price. For usd 350 a night, I expected at least to have a coffee machine or a kettle in my room. It is outrageous that this hotels charges extra for WiFi. I have strongly reccomended my colleagues in the un not to use this overpriced hotel. I changed ghotels part way through my stay. This is nort a good use of public or private funds. Disappointing would be my one word review.
