Location for business is absolutely good. Hotel is in midtown so good position for any activity. If you are lucky (or try to argue with the reception staff) you can get a room with a fantastic view - I guess the best from any of the NYC hotel. Rooms are terribly, terribly old. Hotel is out of fashion needs seriously intervention, given the price per night. Internet works very bad at high floors: wi-fi is nearly absent, cable works if you are lucky with the room. Bathrooms are old, mine was even rusty. Staff not friendly, just a few are helpful. For a 4-star hotel there are no real services: internet bad, no robe, no sleepers, no real business center (just a few PCs in the basement), the pool (which is nice per se) opens at different times and the staff there is not friendly. I was very disappointed because the expectation and the reputation of the hotel were very high.

Nice views - I was on the 40th floor overlooking just about everything! If you plan on going in and out of the hotel multiple times in the day, it's about 15 to 20 minute walk to the nearest metro station (Grand Central)

Nice apartments with a beautiful view from the upper floors. The receptionist (a handsome man) was very unkind. He never gave a smile to the clients and, sometimes, when we asked him something, he turned his back and he leaved the reception without giving us an answer.

It was very central to everything. The view was amazing. I actually dont think you can get a better view of the city. We were close to Grand Central Station which was just a 2 minute shuttle through the subway to get to Time Square. The hotel front desk staff were so helpful ( expecially Marcus!) This is a wonderful place to stay. The lobby was beautiful. The rooms were a little dated, but the beds were very comfortable and it had everthing you needed( Who really cares about how dated the pictures are on the wall!)

The view from the room In my reservation I asked for connecting rooms and they never advise me that this could not be possible. The concierge is available only till 8:00 pm and it happened that one day it was not on service and the reception was not able to satisfy my request.

Location of the hotel, staff was very nice. The view in our room which was on the 37th floor was simply amazing, skyline view of the city, breathtaking. Cleanliness of room was a bit lacking (floors weren't cleaned when needed). We were woken up every morning by arguments and rather loud talking by the cleaning staff in nearby rooms.

The views from our window were amazing. The hotel accomodation starts on the 28th floor and we were on the 34th Floor with amazing views across part of the hudson and could see the Empire State Building as well as the Chrysler Building. There was no fridge in the room and no tea/coffee machine. We ere able to request these although the fridge would be an extra cost. The information did state the rooms came with a fridge.

The location was great just 2 blocks from 42nd Street & the views were fantastic. Beds very comfortable. Majority of the staff very pleasant & very helpful. Very put off when we first arrived by the porter Robert, very in your face, when I gave him a $1 to get rid of him he was very rude and ignored us the rest of our stay. I know tipping is big in usa but he might aswell as had a begging bowl when you first arrive off a long flight you dont need that welcome. Very dissapoited that only 5 allowed in the pool at one time, picked this Hotel because of the pool. Me & my son couldn't swim together as the Max 5 had been reached. Furniture and decor in bedrooms very dated could do with a spruce up

I had a very wonderful experience, I was there with a friend and my daughters. We stayed at the West Wing, we had a suite and a standard room. The rooms were comfortable , the views were very relaxing. The girls utilized the sauna and the swimming pool. They had a ball. The staff were wonderful especially Mr. Marcos, at the check-in desk. He was very helpful, courteous and polite, The only thing we missed was the grill, there was a mixed up with the time of operation, maybe because it was Sunday. We really wanted to dine there.....I have recommended this hotel to few friends and I will continue to do so. I think that the stove that is in the suite could be replaced with a microwave oven

The view from our room was picture perfect, beautiful sunrise over the fdr and the city skyline on the south! That really was an added value! The room was ok but the sofa was so old and dingy we would not even sit on it! The bed and bathroom were clean enough! I think the hotel needs a face lift, invest in new sofas and chairs, even the lobby chairs were old and faded!

Our corner room was on the 34th floor with views over the East River and the City. During the day, the sunlight (it was sunny) poured into the room through its numerous windows, giving such a bright, airy feeling, almost as if we were partially outside. In the evening the art deco brightly lit roof of the Chrysler building was almost outside our windows--also looking very beautiful. The room was attractive, large enough and just a fine place to stay.
