Staff at the reception
Dorca at the reception desk was the only helpful friendly and smiley staff in the hotel. Staff at the Reception desk lack these features other than Dorca. Thanks
Perfect location. Beautiful view. Price was ok for NYC during the Spring break.
Ridiculous to have to pay for wifi. Restaurant to pricey and limited options.
Compared to other hotels within area good price. Staff was excellent.
no coffe machine in the room
Very clean hotel
it shows its (great) age. Power sockets which fall, switches of another era, paying wifi which is slow. Free wifi in the lobby went down on Saturday and was repaired next Tuesday
location is great, close to UN and Grand Central
Staffan with no training and politness The rooms standard fr.o.m. The 50is And noting haspens Sins The brekfast was a Jocke?
Everything, and the view was amazing
My room was old and the layout not right. However it was right near the elevator:)
Proximity to UN and events of Commission on the Status of Women
The sheet color is white:(
You have to pay for Wi Fi, who charges for Wi Fi these days???? $40 dollars for breakfast, no thanks, hundreds of places to go for breakfast in the area at less than half the price.
As all hotels are quite expensive in New York , this was good value, great location as the tour bus stops 100 yards from the door, big room and very clean, pool was closed for repairs but we did know that before we booked, very nice staff, we had a late flight out and it was great being able to leave the cases there until the evening, another bonus is a supermarket about 100 yards up the road so you can buy drinks and snacks at a reasonable price. We would stay here again.
very outdated, need remodeling soon, the outside of the building looks nice, but inside is no better than a 2 star motel. Avoid staying at this hotel, ruin your vacation!
Spacy room, modern
We were upgraded to a suite that was spectacular. Coffee shop in lobby was very handy. Very friendly people on staff. Very professional.
I find things to complain about so that's about it! ;)
The view out the window, the comfort of the bed and the great staff really made my trip great.
They upgraded us to loft which made kids stay special. Quiet area except some weekday construction but normal for New York.
Very close to the UN where our meeting was held.
- The room didn't have any facilities to make tea or coffee - The internet is really expensive - connecting 2 devices (a phone and a laptop) for 2 days costs about 50 USD. - printing facilities in the business center are very expensive, too. Thankfully the reception staff were very helpful and printed something on their own printer for me.
- Absolutely splendid view!!! - High-quality illy coffee on the ground floor - Lobby suited for small meetings
£12.50 a day for internet access
But we were disappointed because the bed made so much noises and there was no microwave to heat our food. Bad receptionist( not friendly)
My fiancee couldn't stop taking pictures because of the great view.
The price you quoted us changed dramatically after all the taxes and fees. So from 199 we paid 248. That was extremely much and different.
The view and location.
Nothing One UN was GREAT !!!
I loved Justin at the front desk he was amazing. He made sure that we had the best experience. We stayed on the 40th floor and looked over the NY skyline it was amazing. The shower was so relaxing. (Talking to my dad about re-modeling our current bathroom)
Location suited our needs and staff were first class!
No wifi in the room in this day and age! Surely!
Closeness to the UN, cleanliness and comfort plus great view!
Paid Wifi in rooms - most hotels all over the world have unlimited wifi. Getting coffee and supplies replenished was not automatic and took a long time. Tipping not based on satisfactory service
Excellent location - proximity to the UN. Comfortable rooms
