It was in a good location for my business trip. The room was spacious and comfortable and staff helpful.
Breakfast should be cheaper. I just used the coffee shop because of the price. Please, please provide free Wifi when charging this much for a room.
Great Location Short ways to all attractions Great view (corner room) Comfort of bed
Wifi isn´t free
no mini bar in the rooms
We had a corner suite on the 35th floor which made for amazing views of the city. Good location easy to get anyplace in Manhattan.
Paid wifi, really, I didn't know that any hotel didn't include free internet, let alone one for over $300 a night. Not even a mini fridge, the room is as basic as can be with horrible water flow in shower. You pay for the view and that's all.
We were upgraded to a larger room, however did not get the view that we originally wanted when booking.
Very expensive for what it was. The bed was hard and really uncomfortable. We decided to book this hotel as it had a sauna and swimming pool, however when we arrived the facilities was out of service and was not notified of this.
The room was great the view fantastic and the tv amazing. I needed a rest and got just that
The view over Manhattan.
Cleanliness of room. Broken furnitures. Need to pay separately for every device you use WiFi for.
Comfy beds and amazing views from the East River right across to the Empire State Building. Impressive front lobby.
We chose the hotel as it had a pool (one of only 4 in NY) but it had been closed for a month and we weren't informed of this. Sauna changing rooms are tired looking.
Most staff were really good Convenient location Great views
No minibar Mixed staff response No coffee making facilities (until requested) Charged big time for a 3hr late check out Tired building
Great midtown location. Staff friendly and helpful.
TV reception in the East Tower is appalling. Tea/coffee facilities would be nice.
Location Excellent staff versatile in all ways accommodating of guest preferences good value for money
Nothing to dislike on this occasion.
Great views of New York skyline from room on 32nd floor. Good night sleep in comfy bed
Staff not very friendly and long wait to check in! Shower facilities old and dated. Expensive and extra charges for wi fi and even use of an umbrella !!
the room was spacious and comfortable staff were discreet and exceptionally helpful and friendly, the whole experience was great
cannot find any faults apart from the pool was out of use on the one day I had time for a swim but could use other facilities.
The pool were not there the hole week we were there. We change room because of noise. Our room were very used and the walls dirty
Carpets stained on landings and bedroom. Worktop around sink cracked No coffee or tea making facilities No fridge or fesh drinking water. Wifi should be included in price
Location was great - UN, ESB, 5th Ave all close by. Quieter neighborhood. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good size for NYC and had a fabulous view of the Hudson River from the 33rd floor.
Reason we chose this hotel was the indoor pool and it wasn't open and didn't sound like it was going to be indefinitely. Rooms were not as clean as they should have been and were dated. Very poor water pressure in shower.
room was poorly furnished, no drinks, no mini bar, at $320 plus I would of expected a lot more
since the location is close to the UN HQ, you see too many police around the hotel and the road is blocked with many security cars. the Staff were not friendly, no warm welcome.
we stayed at the upper floors and the city view is superb
room temperature - was pretty cold there and not that efficient to heat up
Incredible views. I had a corner suite with a wraparound 180 degree view of the East River, Freedom Tower, Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, and the Bank of America Building.
The swimming pool was closed for emergency repairs, while many of the fitness equipment was out of order during my stay.
Rooms start at 28th floor.
Did not have many things that they advertised in listing for that room (for example coffea/tea maker) Really short hours of swimming pool operation
I liked the view in my room
Old furniture in both rooms and baths
Staff most helpful on departure: getting suitable taxi, transferring luggage.
