Carpets old and dirty. Room cold. Could not adjust heat sink and tub water collects goes down very slow
Staff was helpful
Cockroaches. Squeaky bed. Rude wake ups in the morning. Dirty bathroom
The View and the staff
To have to PAY for Wi Fi ; The Swimming Pool was out of commission and the carpets on the landing floor on the 34th floor need replacing; There was no mini bar and there was no tea-making facility
The location and views are wonderful. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were pleasant
Front desk needs serious improvement. Poor staffing of front desk and rude Front Desk Manager. Lots of things broken or not working in the room. Three lights not working and one of the shower options was not functioning. Pool was also out of commission. The keys kept erasing...and long waits to get them fixed.
The view The location Rooms always cleaned promptly
Bedroom in poor shape given price Bedroom needs refurbishment Being charged for using wi-fi Front of house staff fixate on tips
Great staff. Everybody very friendly and helpful. Price was right for the weekend we were there. View from our room faced directly east and looked down on the UN building. Very impressive and historical. Yes property may need some updating but nothing was horrible. Can't complain and had an overall really nice experience. Would come back here.
The staff was helpful. The room was large and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and since i was attending a meeting at the UN, the location was good.
The room is extremly old, and quite dirty. I kept finding hair all over the toilet and the bed every time they cleaned the room.
Staff could have been more helpful about parking which is double the price of parking down the street. I ordered months in advance two double beds and goy a king bed with a nice room.
Good location. Friendly staff. Large room for NYC.
Our friends stayed in west tower we, in east. They enjoyed free wifi while our side had to pay! We both booked through this site and paid the same amount. We also specifically booked this hotel because of pool. It was under construction.
The location, staff.
A bottle of water in the room is customary in every hotel I stayed at. Unfortunately not in yours. This small gesture sets the tone of your stay.
We needed change the room for something and they did it right away.
Very conveniently located for the UN, a surpisingly luxurious room with big picture windows, bathrobes, Nespresso machine in the room. Nice modern decor and very comfortable bed.
Why is WiFi not free?? it makes no sense to charge $13 for 24 hours of wifi and it distracts from the otherwise rather pleasant stay. Stop being so cheap and just include it in the room!
It was in a good location for my business trip. The room was spacious and comfortable and staff helpful.
Breakfast should be cheaper. I just used the coffee shop because of the price. Please, please provide free Wifi when charging this much for a room.
Great Location Short ways to all attractions Great view (corner room) Comfort of bed
Wifi isn´t free
no mini bar in the rooms
We had a corner suite on the 35th floor which made for amazing views of the city. Good location easy to get anyplace in Manhattan.
Paid wifi, really, I didn't know that any hotel didn't include free internet, let alone one for over $300 a night. Not even a mini fridge, the room is as basic as can be with horrible water flow in shower. You pay for the view and that's all.
We were upgraded to a larger room, however did not get the view that we originally wanted when booking.
Very expensive for what it was. The bed was hard and really uncomfortable. We decided to book this hotel as it had a sauna and swimming pool, however when we arrived the facilities was out of service and was not notified of this.
The room was great the view fantastic and the tv amazing. I needed a rest and got just that
The view over Manhattan.
Cleanliness of room. Broken furnitures. Need to pay separately for every device you use WiFi for.
Comfy beds and amazing views from the East River right across to the Empire State Building. Impressive front lobby.
We chose the hotel as it had a pool (one of only 4 in NY) but it had been closed for a month and we weren't informed of this. Sauna changing rooms are tired looking.
Most staff were really good Convenient location Great views
No minibar Mixed staff response No coffee making facilities (until requested) Charged big time for a 3hr late check out Tired building
