Room size, balcony, room design, location, attentive doormen, friendly staff
Cleanliness level of room, old spills, dust, crumbs on carpet
Numerous restaurants and shops close by. Safe area. Very close to North End and waterfront. Staff very courteous and helpful. Brought a requested mini-fridge to my room within minutes of arrival. Room and bath were well designed, extremely comfortable bed - nice views from room. I would choose to stay here again!
Wi-Fi was expensive, it was only free in the lobby. My room was on 7th floor looking down on AC - which, at times, grew quite noisy. But since I kept room AC on high at all times, this covered the noise. Street noise could also be loud, but didn't bother me that much.
Everybody in the hotel was warm and helpful.
Resteraunt was mediocre at best. Waiter was condisending and made us decide to dine elsewhere .
Cost of room
location was great and staff were very nice
I had to call housekeeping to clean my room after 2 nights.
Location, Room was very clean, bed was comfortable
No free wi-fi in the room, no space in provided refrigerator for personal items
Close to Faneuil Hall.
Noisy air conditioner right outside of the window.
Location Size of room Facilities
Certain staff members on reception aloof and miserable
I loved the fact that we could walk to the Market across the street, also a few streets away from the water front and just up a few blocks to Little Italy. A bonus Friday and Saturday at the corner of our hotel was a farmers market.
Noise of the garbage trucks picking up in the early hours of the morning (I am a light sleeper). The coffee in the room was just awful.
The porter was excellent his name was eber(sp)
Having to evacuate due to fire
-we decided to extend our stay an extra day and made arrangements to do so early the next morning. Went out for the day and got a call from a very rude employee saying we were supposed to be out by eleven that morning. Had to explain we had booked another day. -Late the second evening, interrupted by room service. Thought this was from management to make up for previous miscommunication, but was simply for another room. - At 7am the second morning while we were still in bed, a maid entered our room... and apologized profusely.
front office staff room location
a/c a little noisy
The concierge and front desk staff were so welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was so roomy and comfortable.
No refrigerator that is empty. It is filled with mini bar items
It was close to everything
No hairdryer in room air to high cost of parking to high
Perfectly placed next to Quincy Market and steps from the North End and the waterfront. We had a good sized room with a small Juliet balcony . Room was fine with a huge television. I liked the small terrace on the 7 th floor with loungers and chairs, it's nice to be able to sit out in a city hotel.
The air conditioning was so loud we had to turn it off, opening the window doesn't help as we were on a high floor above other units so it was still loud.
Location and reception staff.
Wifi/ethernet in the rooms IS NOT FREE. The parking is very expensive and the closest public parking is a 10 min walk. No ameneties in the hotel what soever, the room service is very expensive even more than 5 star hotels. The room has no ameneties i.e. Slippers, toothbrush, ipod connection, etc.
Clean and tidy, classical and antique
The location and beds were fabulous.
There were no wine glasses or opener in the room and other in room amenities were lacking a bit.
During a recent trip to Boston we spent 9 nights at The Millennium Bostonian. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay,Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable about the Boston area.During our stay we had a slight problem with a noise coming from the air conditioning unit in our room.We reported it to the front desk and immediately an employee assessed the problem. We were promptly moved to another room with minimum disruption to our stay. The staff really embrace customer service.I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Boston.
Location Service Helpful staff
Air con temp in common areas too cold Wasting energy
Internet was not free only in the Lobby
Food, location, staff, are all excellent.
$47 per day for parking in addition to high room rates, high taxes. Etc. I will reconsider staying there on next trip.
Location Decor room quality design beding
The hotel was in a great location. The room was beautiful and well maintained. The concierge was so helpful.
The fee for parking was a bit steep. There was no free Wi-Fi.
