Location (close to shopping), helpful staff (concierge, doormen), hotel lobby bar. Temperature in room was too warm and the thermostat wouldn't adjust it. |

Comfortable spacious rooms at affordable prices in a great location. I would rate the hotel closer to 3 star rather than 4 star. |

The bar in the lobby is a great place to hang out after hours. Lots of people. Further the location of the hotel is ideal, just around the corner of the Magnificent Mile. At breakfast, you pay for the flat fee to have the Buffet breakfast. I ordered one expresso instead of the regular american coffee and they advised me that this would be an extra charge. This should be included. |

The room decor is art deco and very pleasing, with a bed that felt like a nest. The bath amenities made my hair smell wonderful and I caught several gentleman smiling at the nice aroma. After a day of having too much fun in Chicago, returning to the friendly staff at the lounge for a glass of wine to unwind capped off each perfect day in the most fabulous city on earth in a most appropriate manner. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago |

The room was nicely finished and very clean. The bath was small but very nicely furnished and the shower was a treat. Difficult to navigate TV and a biase toward pay for view features They added a parking fee to my bill and I almost used automatic checkout and would have been overcharged. They corrected the mistake when called to their attention but it should never have occurred |

The location was superb, the rooms were fantastic, perhaps the nicest most comfortable hotel room I have stayed in during all my trips to different parts of America and definetly the best value. The hotel is based in an ideal location, a lovely area of Chicago close to all the city tourist spots, will definetly stay there again when I travel to Chicago. I wouldn't say I didn't like these but unfortunately the bar closed early enough for a residents bar but it wouldn't put me off in the least. Reception area is not a reflection of the quality of the hotel rooms. |

Very enjoyable. The concierges that we interfaced with were excellent. (Les and Cheryl). There advice was spot on. The bed was not as enjoyable as we would have liked. |

The lobby staff were excellent and the location was ideal. The room standards were high though the room itself was quite small. I think access to the computers should be free as it was in all the other hotels we stayed in on our trip. |

Food service in the dining room for breakfast was excellent. Our room was so small that we probably will not stay there again. Very nice but too small and crowded for two. |

Since I was staying for a week, I initially chose the hotel for the excellent rate with booking.com. What a great choice it truned out to be. It was a wonderful experience. Excellent location - city and beach on the doorstep ... fantastic! Extremely comfortable and relaxing - one of the best beds ever! Efficient, lovely, friendly staff. I will most definitely be back. |
