Great location for shops and restaurants. Just off the main drag so reasonably quiet
Noisy fridge in room, easy to unplug!
Beds were very comfortable and housekeeping very pleasant.
Our breakfast was a bit difficult to get across and the choc chip pancakes on site are really M&Ms so settled for something else. May suggest some guten choices. More updated and current.
Friendly helpful staff
Wifi was poor quality and you had to pay for it. One elevator was out of order resulting in a 10 minute wait and a stop at every floor!!
The area is the best. The gold cost, magnificent mile and the tower just 5 minutes walk. The room was clean.
On the check out day the maid 2 times knocked on the door between 10 and 10:45am. When we checked out and asked a lobby man store our luggage until we pick up afternoon. He told its free service but we have to give some tip when we pick up the luggage. Its awful.
Location was convenient. The rooms were clean. The lobby is pleasant and comfortable. The concierge on duty on the morning of checkout was gracious and funny.
My biggest complaint is that the hotel charges eleven dollars for wifi. That's outrageous in this day and age. The guy at the front desk was sympathetic to that. The woman when I checked out was just plain ungracious. Did not get my money's worth. Waiter at breakfast was faking it. Obvious he doesn't like his job.
Everything Staff friend and helpful Good Location Nearby Restaurants/Bars
The Bed Staff is great
The room size
The location is excellent, very close to the Michigan Ave shops and also to Oak St Beach. Very friendly staff and excellent service. You feel that you are appreciated by the staff.
I had no problems with this hotel.
From the moment that we arrived until the moment that we drove away was an enjoyable experience. Everyone exceeded our expectations. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and that that tub with the massage jets was just what I needed.
Very friendly staff.
Beds were comfortable and we were close to shops. Friendly staff and outside doorman very efficiant.
Air conditioning was very noisy.
No amenities; front desk staff
The vibe was really cool. The price was just right. The location was perfect. Staff was awesome. Elegant but not pretentious.
There wasn't a mint on my pillow. I couldn't think of anything else that I did not like.
Great Hotel for Location, Cleanliness and price. Bed was very comfy and the same bar in the lobby was very releaxed
Shower had no pressure
The Millennium Knickerbocker was a wonderful hotel. I did not use any of their services outside of staying in the room to shower and sleep. The room was modern and clean. I enjoyed my stay there.
No complimentary WiFi. I think it's petty to charge guests to use WiFi. It should be complimentary for guests.
Location Modern bathrooms Quiet street
Excellent location for beach, shops and restaurants.
Were kept waiting several minutes to check in after a long flight while a host of BA flight crew checked out!!!!!
The hotel was centrally located to everything. The Nix staff were so effficient and professional with a personal touch. The breakfast was hot and fresh always. The room was clean, Any special need we had was honored. Your Staff at the desk were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. We were able to check in a little early and they arranged our reservations so we didn't have to change rooms. We stayed an extra day. We will return to the Millennium Knickerbocker
Worst shower ever had. Would not return because of this.
Right in the centre of Chicago
The air conditioning is way to loud The room is very, very small
The location was perfect - close to everything. The staff were courteous and attentive without being overbearing. The foyer bar was great for late night drinks, good food and a bit of Jazz.
Free wifi was only available in the foyer so if working late in your room you needed to pay $10.95 per 24 hours.
Location was fantastic, Staff was excellent.
$10 for WiFi? It should be free.
Really good staff. Really polite & helpful at every level from concierge to the bar, cleaners etc. V comfy beds. Great bar with really nice bar staff & really good food. Would definitely go back again.
