If I didn't have my own wifi hotspot I would've been perturbed about that. Wifi is like a necessity now especially for business owners like myself. Complimentary wifi is a priority and might be the difference in where I book next time.
I loved the location to dining and shopping and the hotel amenities were fabulous!
The sheets, towels and robe weren't soft at all.
The hotel had a great vibe, beyond friendly staff. The room(Superior King was way bigger then I thought). I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Double beds were too small and somewhat shaky
Entire staff were polite and welcoming
One of the pillow cases was stained as if it hadn't been washed since the previous guest used it. I also ordered a meal for two online and only received one of the meals but was charged for both. After contacting the manager of the restaurant directly and complaining, he was nice enough to refund my entire cost of the order without me having to go through a bunch of red tape to get rectafied.
The comfort of the bed was fantastic, and the shower mixed with the whirlpool tub was totally exhilarating. I definitely will stay here again.
Very small rooms The comforter on the bed is starch feeling and not that comfortable. Have to pay for internet - most hotels these days have internet included FREE. Didn't pay for it as it was not worth the money.
Location to shopping - walking distance to anything. Took a taxi to dinner and bars due to the cold.
the hotel is in an amazing location, but without excellent customer service, it's just an OK experience. The staff at registration were aloof, and less than friendly.
The decor and comfort of the bed made the experience worthwhile but the facility is aging.
Very well maintained, beds very comfortable. Great location - 3-4 blocks from Water Tower and only 2 blocks from Hancock Building.
I enjoyed the convenience and amenities of the hotel. The property is conveniently located, just steps from Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile. The hotel provides easy access to dining, shopping, and businesses.
the showers, water was not always warm enough. Complicated arrangement with hand held and overhead . Only one bathrobe.
Very friendly staff at the door / bell man etc. Good and friendly service at the coffee shop.
Everything exceeded my expectations in staying at this hotel.
Valet parking too expensive! No wine opener in the room...front desk couldn't find one so we had to send our kids down to the bar to open the wine...
Always quick to bring whatever we needed and very friendly!
There was no hot water!
The bed. It was extremely comfortable
There was nothing that I did not like
This is my 3rd stay and will continue to stay there whenever I am in Chicago which is at least 5 days per month
Paid wifi Navigator service was down. No hot tub, pool.
Early check in. Kind staff Late checkout. Location
that was no dinner ,or room service for been a hotel by Michigan av.
the room was ok for the price, need a little repairs on the shower doors
location, price, staff, security, I travel a lot and this is about as good as it gets
Booking.com made some type of error and caused confusion with scheduling 2 separate reservations which was not noted on our confirmation.
Sheryl the concierge was most helpful with spa in area and other services and remembered us from previous stay. General Manager Angel was also quite helpful and proactive with a small issue from the booking.com reservation. Craig our bellman was quite friendly.
Not enough surface room for makeup and getting ready. Needs more furniture. Wish they offered complimentry fresh coffee.Pricey car valet parking.
Door man helpful and nice. Very clean.
Everything else room was not cleaned what so ever. Rooms way to tiny. Bed sheets were felt like plastic. View was terrible. Just a very depressing hotel to be in wouldn't do it again.
The staff was nice.
Boogers on my duvet cover, lack of room service, malfunctioning computer that stored the food menu for take out, lack of wifi, hair in shower, tub did not drain, annoyed guest service staff sans the guy that delivered our bathrobe, missing bathrobe, rooms did not cancel noise, line for elevator and stairs shut down due to wedding which is fine but inconvenience for other guests etc.
Time it took valet to retrieve car, room temp, water pressure. Knowledge of front desk.
The room was on the small side and the valet parking was very expensive.
Most everything! The rooms were updated but the hotel is very old. The staff was attentive and beyond pleasant.
I would like to have free WiFi.
still a beautiful historic hotel, but needs updating of finishes.
location is fantastic
No room service Paying for wifi Coming back to the room at 5pm and the room wasn't made up Trying to print my boarding pass but the printer was broken. Reception told me to email & they would print and have it waiting at 5am the next morning when I left but it hadn't been done. Would not go back.
Location Room was clean
