Beauty of hotel - old, yet refurbished elegance. Staff wonderful. Rooms quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend this for travelers who want great dining and shopping at their fingertips Wished internet was provided for free in rooms. Was surprised at all the added taxes - but guess this is city enforced not from hotel. Wished there had been more quiet lobby space to just relax with cousins (who were visiting from abroad)

The entire staff. They couldn't have been friendlier...a sincere friendly, not scripted. Our entire group enjoyed this aspect of our stay. A few problems with the room but the manager resolved quickly so can't complain. Look forward to returning.

The venue was wonderful, my wife and I enjoy the hotel. The staff was great. In addition the concierge was the best, very helpful and great advice. The parking valet was terrible, we needed to leave early in the morning and he was nowhere to be found. It took 50 minutes to find him. Very disappointing.

The price of the room was great. And that the hotel had a bar. I didn't like the fact that the room didn't have an microwave. I also didn't like that It wasn't enough stores that sold souvenirs.

Location Expensive extra fee for wifi staff in the lobby was not very helpful. I had to wait for desk people to show up for check-in/out. The bell man was chatting with the bartender or not at the stand and made me wait every time I needed him. Staff at the door very casual in addressing guests and not very professional. Bulky and outdated touchscreen guest station in room. Lack of attention to details throughout hotel.

The hotel was very nice and the staff exceptional. We arrived early but our room was available. We ate breakfast in the restaurant two mornings and it was very good. The room was average size but well appointed. Some renovations ongoing which proved a bit noisy during the day. Some free internet usage would have been nice since they provided a screen in the room.

Room was well appointed, modern and spotlessly clean. Beds are very comfortable with pillows of various firmness that should suit any needs. Location is walking distance to restaraunts, shopping and cultural venues. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. General lighting is fine, but could be improved by more direct light for reading.

The bathrooms were very nice. The bar area was very nice. The bellhop was excellent. My card was charged at booking. When I checked in they charged the room to my card again. Then they blamed booking.com and said there was nothing they could do and I would have to contact my bank.

The location was great. Only a short walk to Michigan Ave. The room was smaller then expected. The shower was a nuance because it had a removable hose and then the main shower head, but they didn't work well together.
