I liked the set up of the hotel very classic looking;.. the location of the hotel was perfect, the parking garage across the street (very convenient)... thee breakfast area was very cute and the rooms were put quite neatly together
I didn't like how small the rooms were (even though it is good for just one stay) ventilation wasn't great, I was kind of stuffed up and I was hot.. yes there was an AC, but who wants to use that in the middle of winter even though I did use it anyways cause I had no choice, overall just too stuffy.
Checked in late at or early morning staff was very nice and helpful
1. The strategic location 2. The friendliness of the staff 3. The facilities, especially free internet
1. No in-house restaurant services 2. Most Upper rooms lack hot water supply for bath.
Location and cost
Poor Wi-Fi; TV remote not working so TV would not come on; uncomfortable bed;
Affordable and safe - loved the keyless swipe entry.
Hotel smelled a bit of smoke.
The staff was efficient and friendly. Location was amazing.
The hotel is a bit outdated.
warm (we were there during the winter storms), can walk to many places to eat, clean, staff was nice and friendly
very very small room, no closet
Breakfast ... close to attractions
You get exactly what you pay for NOTHING MORE!!! Very small rooms bathroom had hair all over it
Value for money, nice reception, free breakfast (fresh waffles!), COMFY bed, went out of way to let us check in early because there was a snow storm outside
Bathroom is a little outdated, but still very clean
The service from the front desk was good though one of the hosts was a little snippy when we were thinking that we'd get free water every day. Nice eating area and TV available in the room where the continental breakfast was served.
The continental breakfast was good idea though the bagels and muffins were so-so. The idea of the waffle maker was great and the waffles though were very good.
The bed was comfy and linens soft and clean. Floors were clean. Bathroom was clean. That was very important to me to feel like I was sleeping in a clean room!
The room was VERY small. We stayed in a king room. The bed was a king sized, but took up most of the room and there wasn't much space to walk around at all. Had to hop over each other to get to the other side of the bed by the wall. No chairs or sitting area. Just a bed, a night table and a dresser with a tv above it with the bathroom in the walkway from the door. Also since it was winter and very cold, we had to turn the heat on, but it was a wall unit heater, which blew hot air out into the room and made the air very dry, and it was very loud. So we both had trouble sleeping. But good value for the money for a 1-night quick stay.
charged me again after i paid for my whole stay in advance , and had to call my bank to make sure it was not charged not the way i wanted to start my trip, if it was in a different city/setting where there isnt as much activies and events to go to it would have been a horrible weekend
The room was too small
Good location. comfortable and affordable
The staff was very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The value was excellent.
The heat was extreme. We turned it down but it was still too hot.
Location was great! Easy to walk to most places in city. Lots of great restaurants very close as well as all the theatre. The place did seem pretty clean even though it was a bit run down. Also pretty close to the t.
The walls were thin so hearing doors slam and people in the hall and other rooms was very clear. The room i was in had only a window ac unit that blew heat. It was very drafty and the heater was going on and off all night long. While the tv was nice it was akwardly placed on the wall so watching it from the bed wasn't really comfortable. And i had to keep turning the volume up and down because of the heat going on and off. The building is just a little run down but they did keep it clean. For a lower priced room in boston it was fine but I wouldn't want to stay there more than a night or two. Might be worth the extra $20 a night to stay some where a little nicer. But if your on a budget its fine just not luxurious.
Loud college aged kids in and out of the rooms all night, knocking on doors etc
Very good breakfast; good location, central and close to two subway stations; bathtub
There are some steps at the entrance, no ramp; no safe in room; no proper light in the room: no ceiling light, just a lamp
The woman at the front desk was very helpful! Thank you
The room was pretty small
the hotel is well situated to move around the city.
There are no addon services available such as lunch/dinner.
Great staff, super helpful
No cellphone signal (t-mobile)
Liked the location, price and the staff was very pleasant.
The headboard was leaning against the wall. It wasn't connected to the rest of the bed. The condition of the room was OK, only. The rooms, including the rug, could use some updating. The heat came on now and then and it was noisy.
I had requested a late checkout of 2:00 when I booked the room. I was then told at 11am that I had to be out by 12. When 12:00 came a woman came banging at my door stating that she was going to call the police on me. She then proceeded to enter the room without my permission. She was very hostile. These may be grounds for me to bring it into the courts.
Everything else: tiny claustrophobic room, not particularly clean, rude staff at the reception, the breakfast was borderline gross, overpriced.
