The location, the cosyness and simple
Staff could be a tad more outreaching
Price and location
The noisy A/C heater right beside the head of the bed.
bars, food, entertainment all within 5mins walking distance
expected 2 beds, got 1 bed & 1 pullout couch
room so small that there was no chair nor table and the bathroom had no door
Friendly and thoughtful staff. Thanks Mohammed. Location isn't far from Beacon Hill and transport. There's a drugstore near by. The room is small but cozy The room was older but clean and tidy
Location was great
The window shaker AC/Heat kept us up all night. When it turned off you could hear all sorts of street noise including people yelling. Staff seemed to lack basic hospitality training i.e. did not smile, ask how our stay was etc.
Staff very helpful
All the stuff from breakfast table thrown in the bin. Not environmentally friendly
Near the center.
The airconditioning/ heating made so much noise that it as difficult to sleep. If you switched it off, the room became very cold. The wall, the ceiling, the windows needed painting.
Location, friendliness of staff, and immaculate cleanliness (rooms and hallways)
My Double room was small-but-OK, but no chair, so you could only sit on the bed, which resulted in a mattress that sagged on the accessible side. The in-the-window heat/AirCon unit was loud (even on low); and continuously cycled on and off (no way to set it for constant ON)-- made sleeping difficult.
I enjoyed the bathroom, the heating, and the bed.
I didn't like how small the room was for how much i paid. I didn't like that there were cracks and chips on the floors and walls (but it did seem like maintanance was doing a serious paint job on the halls when I arrived)
We could hear everything in our room. Noise travels very easily.
A soggy celing tile
Tiny room in an historic hotel, Comfortable bed and helpful staff. Adequate free breakfast. Good value for the money.
Very friendly staff. Room has everything that's required by a traveller.very centrally located
Rooms are very small. Tiny shower cabin
Free wi-fi and location were positive things.
Shower was really bad: it took a really long time to get warm water and then you got just extremely hot water and really short time. I wonder when you learn to make better showers with proper mixers. Call to Finland, if you need any counsel.
the staff were very friendly, the cleanliness, the location was great
the room spacewas very limited
Not having a table to sit at the room
Value for my money. Free breakfast too!
Price, location, friendly staff, wireless
I would have liked more electrical outlets near bedside. I also wd have liked a small writing area.
Polite, clean, enough, breakfast
It was in a great location of where I needed to travel. Little outdated but the bathrooms were nice.
The only real thing I have to complain about is that the food choices were next to none after 8Pm, but there were a lot of bars open.
friendly and kind staffs, near to city center, near to Boston Common. only 10 minutes subway to the South Station, where you get Amtrack trains and Silver Line Bus to the airport. The way to subway station Boylton Street is not complicate, easy to walk to the subway stateion.
-Shower: you must wait for more than 5 minutes to get hot water. -Wifi has not scurity guard. everyone including persons outside the hotel can access to wifi. It is not safe. -Not expensive, but not so resonable, if one take account of facility and room
It was centrally located, clean, friendly, safe, comfortable and 'boutiquey'. Excellent value for Boston accommodation. The staff seemed very happy and proud which is always a telling sign!
The room was the perfect size for what we needed. It definitely was a bit cozy, but my boyfriend & I would leave our room at 9am and wouldn't return til 9 or 10 pm. It's also about a mile walking distance from almost everything. If you need to travel further, it's within walking distance to most train lines. The bathroom was a lot nicer than anticipated. The complimentary breakfast did the job (waffle maker!!).
The hallways were kind of narrow. The elevator was small and sometimes we had to take the stairs (5 flights) because housekeeping was using it.
