Staff was very friendly
There was nothing I didn't like. I would stay there again
Excellent staff, the front desk girl was extremely polite and helpful.Clean room.
Great access to subways and from there you could get anywhere quickly.
Everything was fine and our group of 7 had our own rooms and everyone was happy
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good The wifi was very good
The hotel looked a little 'tired' in some of the public areas - corridors etc. The hot water in the bathroom was pretty haphazard.
The staff were very pleasant and the room was very comfortable, cozy and warm, It was snowing outside. The location was great; near the South Street bus station, within walking distance and near public transit and Boston Commons.
I could wak to all the locations I wanted to visit
The cold weather
Breakfast Staff Bed
The heater was noisy when it came on.
The location is excellent right in the theatre district of downtown Boston... The staff were friendly.... The complimentary continental breakfast was more than adequate.... The cheap price for a Boston hotel
The walls were def on the thin side although the noise next door stopped at by 11PM and it was then quiet through the night.... Would have liked a safe in the room to lock -up valuables....
Rooms we're extremely small, but clean.
Rude and incompetent does not begin to describe the terrible service James the night manager provided. After stating that I would be unable to check in until 3 PM on Saturday for a one night, Friday reservation just after midnight on Friday night, James refused to straighten anything out with a phone call to booking.com the site I used to book the room. Once I called them and put my phone on speaker for James to hear, he relented and began to check me in as slowly as possible. As soon as that called ended, James began cursing, yelling, and threatening me for having made that call to straighten things out. He refused to calm down or even relent in his obscene and vitriolic speech. Things got so bad that when the hotel security asked him to calm down and he refused, Boston PD came in of their own volition to handle the matter. Hands down the worst check in experience I could imagine, short of actually being physically harmed by a desk clerk. If you value your time, sanity, and security, do yourself a favor and never consider this hotel.
The location is perfect with most of what we wanted to see in Boston within walking distance. The price was less than $100 a night which for an expensive city like Boston is very cheap. For the free breakfast I had a banana, an orange, some yoghurt, a hard-boiled egg and some oatmeal, as well as juice and tea. There were also muffins, toast, Danishes, cereals and waffles available, so there was a good selection. The desk staff was very helpful and we were able to leave our bags after check-out while we toured the city a bit more before leaving.
The room was noisy with lots of noise from the street. The bed was comfortable but small. If we were staying in the room during the day it would have been too small.
easy walking distance to everything. Reception ladies were always very helpful and friendly
For AUD$250/ night and no hot water (-5 outside too). Tiny rooms. Continental breakfast is included but don't get excited... stale bagels and warm yogurt.
The location is it near everything.. U can walk from Bus station etc..
Great value for the money involved and location compared to hotels in vicinity.
Room was small. Need a table or desk.Had a guest with me but only one chair in room.
Wasn't bad, pretty good for the price
It was VERY small.
Cozy room was just fine for our overnight visit to Boston. Easy walk to great restaurants and up to the Commons.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Room was small and cramped. Bed uncomfortable. No extra blanket.
-price -location -wifi -room was big
-bed sheets not changed -cold breeze through crack under window -heating system very noisy -window to noisy neighbours (not hotel guests)
The location is good and the staff was very nice.
The heater is super loud - as I was there in winter that was very annoying. Furthermore, the shower sometimes didn't have hot water. Breakfast was bad for European standards but probably acceptable for American standards.
Everything! The staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean and silent, breakfast was excellent, the location was perfect, and the price/quality ratio was very worthwhile. If I come back to Boston, I will definitely stay at Hotel Milner again!
Location was ok for the price
In window A/C was like having a train running through the room
Good price, good location near Boston Commons
Noisy heating units, limited selection for breakfast
Staff are very friendly and helpful! Location is good.
The room they gave me is a tiny & awkward single room beside stairs. The room is so small that you can barely move around. It faces the backyard and there were people shouting every night until 2 am.
The central location is really great. There was a person on the front desk at all time. Guests tend to be young people.
Even though the hotel provides a small discount (voucher) for parking, the garage across the street is costly. The breakfast eating area is very small and crowded---the food is like a dorm. The hot water was spotty in the evening.
Good location, 10 mins walk to China town. Free breakfast.
Hot water is so weak, shower got cold after 2-3 mins of shower. The room is tiny.
