The rooms are very small no refrigerators the elevator is extremely tiny
Great location Friendly staff Had breakfast
Small room A bed your grandma could slept in
Helpful staff Good location Fairly basic but clean Small room with sloping floor!
Location, price (compared to other options in Boston), Simple hotel but fairly clean and comfortable. Room was cramped but relatively nice.
Some of the staff was not very friendly, Obvious need of a face lift,
In a theatre district, the heating was working well, I got a breakfast an hour before the official time.
The room is rather small, it was sometimes noisy at night, internet did not always work.
reception staff very helpful location
plastic, throw away breakfast utensils small room
Every single employee that I dealt with during my 3 day stay was very friendly and helpful. I left my phone in the cab when I arrived and the desk clerk made all the calls necessary to get it back.
I like hotels with character and this place has it.
My second floor window directly above the street with tour buses loading and unloading, horns honking, and drunks singing. Luckily the ventilation system was so loud it muffled most of the outside noise.
Location excellent , staff were very helpful . Breakfast was ok.
Bathroom could do with some serious updating , was very old and worn out .
loved the location and my single bed room of about 100 square feet. This is what it was like back in the day. Scruffy 1990s redo -- but clean.
TINY halls, tiny rooms.. and if I stayed more than 1 night the "scruffy" would get old !
Great location, comfy and functional room.
Noisy heater. Didn't get requested wake up call.
When I checked in the receptionist was confrontational and denied that I had paid in advance. Eventually she admitted that my account was paid in full . The room was tiny and not at all featured on the website. I will not stay at this property again.
Very nice staff, good location.
Tiny room, noisy, poor breakfast, and bed bugs.
Location . Clase to boston commom public garden and many main streets
Most of the staff is friendly Very central situation (walking distance from Boston common and downtown)
Rooms are really noisy( poor phonic isolation) Very old & small rooms (no desk) One of the clerk was very aggressive/unfriendly Shower with low pressure and no constant water temperature Breakfast room with no windows
location - so closed to everything ( especially to Public garden, approx 5-7 mins). Not bad breakfast Stuff very helpful and nice
Too much small room Small window Everything old and they give me former smoking room (but I offered non-smoking)
Great central location, close to restaurants, convenience stores, public transport & the City tour Trolley stop. Decent free Wi-Fi
The single room was really, really small (My fault for not looking at the photo and dimensions) Parking nearby cost $52 for 2 days even with a hotel discount
1. Great location The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk to the green line subway, which makes it really convenient if you want to go to the convention center. Also, this is the theater district, if you plan to go for theater shows. 2. Plenty of eating places within a block or two There is also the City Place, a food court and restaurant place just opposite the main road. There is PF Chang. I also spotted a Legal Seafood restaurant near Charles Street, about 1-2 blocks away from the hotel.
1. The black lady receptionist at night is rude. I asked to change rooms away from the exit, but she still moved me to one just the same. 2. The single bedroom is a shoebox and the bathroom does not have any door. Don't expect to work in the room either because there is no desk and chair in it. At $134+ a night, I believe this is overpriced. 3. The breakfast doesn't have a lot of variety, just some bread, waffle and pastry. No hot items. There is no hot chocolate to drink either.
The physical location of the hotel was close to the places we wanted to visit.
The bathroom had mildew. The tub leaked. The sink didn't drain properly. The beds were as hard as sleeping on plywood. The room "looked out" onto a dark alley across from a nightclub whose noise went on until 3 am, including a brawl in the street in which the police were called.
Friendly staff, Single, small cozy room
Could be a little updated.
Check in strictly at 3pm and the room was a rat hole that is the size of a walk in closest. Twin bed ??? I'm not sure if I have ever noticed a twin bed in a hotel. I travel for a living and this was my top 3 worse stops ever.
Friendly staff, decent breakfast
Location (shady adrea) with limited access to public transportation. Facilities need updating. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked and loose,
Continental breakfast (Juice, Waffles, toast, muffins, bagels, fruit,...) Close to Boston Common Vending Machines in the basement, proximity to shops Room was small but had everything you need, even an ironing board.
I only stayed 2 nights. Would have loved to stay longer.
Staff is very friendly Close to China town, where you get very good food!
Super tiny single bedroom. Barely fit me and my large luggage No bathroom door. Had to close down window shutter whenever I went to the bathroom A little loud, too many sirens at night
