Milner Hotel Boston

De ligging is perfect, in het zaken- en theaterdisctrict met leuke kroegjes en restaurants in de buurt. Het ontbijt is gezellig met een persoon die wafels en toast voor je maakt.

De kamers zijn klein en gedateerd. De badkamer was erg aan een opknapbeurt toe.

Vriendelijke en klantgerichte instelling personeel, gratis internet, schone kamer.

Airconditioning in kamer had heel weinig effect, trappenhuis (tapijt) erg sleets, heel kleine ontbijtruimte.

Het is centraal gelegen ten opzichte van alle bezienswaardigheden. Eenvoudig, maar functioneel. Personeel is vriendelijk. Ontbijt prima.

de prijs was veel te duur voor wat je er voor krijgt. Wij betaalden 155 dollar per nacht en zaten in een hokje van een kamer. De gangen roken muf en waren zo smal dat als er brand zou ontstaan, er grote ongelukken zullen gebeuren. De brandtrap was ook niet echt stevig. Ontbijt was treurig.

I was looking for a clean, basic hotel for one night close to South Station, and for my purposes, the Milner Hotel did well. Pros: -- Location (in the Theatre District; close to Chinatown, New England Medical Center, Boston Common; the Orange, Green and Silver T lines are nearby; 10 minutes walk from South Station) -- Free internet -- Breakfast included (was pleasantly surprised by the variety - 10 kinds of tea; 5 kinds of cereal; fruit salad; yogurt; bagels; pastries; coffee etc.) -- Rooms were clean, good hot water

Cons: -- Room was very small -- Décor was obviously old. If I wanted a longer stay in Boston, I'd probably get a better deal on another hotel, but for one night this was the cheapest in the area, and perfectly fine on the important things like cleanliness, service, and value. I do wish they'd redecorate. The wallpaper really is dreadful...

Breakfast and proximity to

the bed was really small for two people. The room smelled and was in bad condition. I needs to be updated. The shower was broken and instead of replacing the door there was just a curtain. Not worth $109 a night, should have been more like 60 a nigh

It was exactly what I needed, for a reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area.

I liked the small room, the location and value I got for my money. I liked the friendliness of the employees.

Noise, long time until hot water was available (fifth floor).

The bed was the most uncomfortable. The room was very small. Just awful.

Convenient location, clean basic single room for a reasonable price. The room was very small but clean and with a decent shower. Nice free breakfast spread. This is the second time I stayed there, and I'd stay there again.

The neighborhood to the left out the front door is "iffy" but everything to the right was good, easy to find services, taxis, etc.
