Milo's is fantastic! Greated us as we came in . Romantic getaway in the desert. David will be the new manager and he will be amazing to any of his guests that stay! Above and beyond!
Location, set up, and atmosphere - loved it all
Missed having a shower, but for one night the tub worked fine.
Milo's was well beyond our expectations; everything was first class from the friendly and efficient personnel to the lovely accommodations. What puts it over the top however is the oasis in the atrium consisting of a lovely and lush pond created by a "rainfall" from the vine covered trellis above. The pond is inhabited with colorful fish and a family of friendly turtles who will eat from your hand. An absolutely perfect place to relax and keep cool. The coffee shop and wine cellar/restaurant complete the perfect place to stay in Boulder.
You've gotta be kidding! If we must say something, a reserved parking spot would be nice, but by no means a deal breaker!
The accommodation was superb. The room was beautifully furnished and the jacuzzi bath was awesome. Robin was also lovely she chatted to us in the courtyard and introduced us to Mr and Mrs turtle and Mr Frog, what a lovely lady. The free Sangria on arrival was "knockout!!"
Nicely appointed room with comfortable amenities. Quiet., Friendly and enthusiastic staff.
Hard to find the B&B from the road, circled a few times. Breakfast limited.
We are long time Boulder City residents and needed a quiet, upscale place to stay for a mini-vacation. Milo's Inn is one of the best kept secrets in town, but after checking out their website, we knew this was just what we were looking for. Only minutes from our home, we didn't have to travel far. The room was luxurious, with a fireplace and a spa in each room. The courtyard is peaceful, with a pond containing fish and turtles. The lush foliage added to the feeling of serenity. And although Milo's is in the heart of downtown BC, one would never know it. The quiet courtyard setting also boasts a grill if one wants to prepare meals and a fridge to keep food cold. All in all, we couldn't have found a better place for a weekend getaway---and we didn't even have to leave town. Highly recommend it!
A pleasant pleasant surprise for everyone! We got the room just next to the fountain, and the "at-home-feel" was tremendous, even comes with a fireplace. Staff was friendly and chatting, Robin the housekeeper is the best so far we've seen on our trip! This small town is beautiful and quiet, with great food at Milo's. We will certainly be back again.
Bathtub wasn't separated from the room, and water splashed everywhere, especially with young kids. Town starts late (10-11am) and ends early (3pm!!).
Quirky boutique apartment attached to a wine bar with good food. Robin the housekeeper is a very lovely lady and makes you feel very welcome. Double Jacuzzi bath was fun! Try to meet Lucy the dog and Mrs T, the turtle! Free Sangria when you arrive! Good breakfast cooked to order. Good aircon.
Convenient location for an overnight stay when visitingvthe hoover dam. Staff very friendly and helpfull.
This is a really amazing place to stay. The only 4 rooms are designed with love to detail and have a whirlpool / fireplace inside. Never seen somerhing like tis before. At the ground level there are a old fashioned bakery and a wine store. Don't miss this place - you will definitley enjoy it ...
Nothing negative - everything was perfect
Very attractive rooms. Delicious breakfast and, most importantly, the staff is cheerful and accommodating.
We had two different rooms and in neither was there a window that opened. TV is ridiculously small and high - impossible to see.
Delightful, interesting hotel with a fabulous staff.
very quaint very comfy. Boulder City is limited. Staff was good but...
We were locked out of our 2nd nights room without notice, due to no after hours phone or buzzer...they called to say room was ready, moved our luggage, but no contact after that and there rules are 10pm shutdown... Not a responsible situation for poeple who are in vegas or elswhere enjoying the evening... I would have expected a late night key drop, or at the very least a phone call... We ended up getting a room down the street for 100$ a big hassle..totally ruined our evening and had to call Milos staff for 2 days afterwards before getting a return call and eventually a 147$ refund without any other considerations from Milo's ... very disappointing turn of avoidable events... We wont be staying there again.
Very nice small town and the location was very good. Room was small but clean.
When we first arrived it wasn't clear where to park. The tv didn't work (this should have been checked out by someone before we arrived). You gave us another room that was luckily available the next night and some credit which was good. The room setup was not very well thought out. For the price of the room you should make clear what the room is like. The TV is way too small, you should think about installing a flat screen. A couple of comfortable chairs instead of the table. Plenty of storage, the bed was ok head board is a little low to sit up and watch TV in bed.
Loved the courtyard and the staff. The breakfast was wonderful, especially the croissants. The fireplace in the room was an unexpected bonus. Being able to sit outside in January to eat breakfast, albeit under heat lamps, was a treat for people from the mid-west !
Our hot water was tepid at best. We would have appreciated fewer decorative pillows and more usable ones that would provide a choice of flat and fuller. We arrived late at night so did not wish to bother anyone until morning.
Stayed on a Monday night and was so pleased with Milos, that after some sightseeing we returned on the Thursday night. Staff is super polite, pleasant and helpful. Stayed in Chianti room both nights. Food and wine are excellent and breakfast is fresh baked and truly wonderful. Hot tub is great - has shower head with retractable hose...not an issue for us but may be for someone who has limited mobility and needs a stand-up shower.
Sitting chairs in room are a bit stiff so sipping wine in room not so comfy.
The location, everything an easy walk in this quiet town. The room features, very comfortable and with a fire. The court yard must be great in the summer. The choice of beer and wine in the adjoining wine cellar and the coffee shop for breakfast
Would have been nice to have a separate shower but I understand that the space has been used to the best advantage
Unique, cozy property.
The staff was all exceptional!
The stairs leading up to the rooms were dirty.
Stayed for one night on 8th October on our way back to Vegas. Great place to stay, highly recommend reserving a courtyard room as our room was beautiful. Luxurious linen, jacuzzi bath, comfortable bed. Outside in the courtyard was a hot tub, fire pit and fish pond. Delicious breakfast with excellent service from the young lady on duty. In the wine bar, a great grazing menu, fab range of wines and beers, place was really busy with a great atmosphere! Highly recommend this place.
Absolutely nothing... although the TV could be bigger, don't think we've ever seen a TV so small.
Loved the bath Loved the welcome Sangria Loved the beautiful courtyard Loved Boulder City Loved sitting out on the sidewalk at our table in the evening and for breakfast Loved the Beaujolais platter we shared and the Flight Plan wine: both a great idea
Limited breakfast choice, but we knew that and still chose to book. It was very tasty though and cafe lady was very friendly.
