This was by far the cleanest, nicest and most economical room I stayed in through out the duration of the high school wrestling season for 2014/15. Even compared with more expensive rooms we stayed in we ranked this as the best one we stayed in.
Staff very friendly and comfy bed.
The location in Wallowa made our travels to watch our grand-daughters pay basketball much more convenient. But my wife was pleasantly surprised at the decor and condition of the motel room when she walked in. It was very nice and clean.
The bathroom facilities seemed somewhat crowded.
It was very affordable. Staff was very warm and friendly, and told us about places to see and go to.
The heater was very loud and woke us up several times each night.
Theme of motel. Cleanliness. Location.
Clean and had everything we needed.
The heat was a bit tricky. We figured it out by the second night.
Owner/operater was friendly, responsive to requests, pointed us to eating establishments and points if interest. exceeded our expectations. Would recommend to others.
Very homey and comfortable, loved that they were pet friendly.
Older television...also very rude neighbor, almost contacted owner as to he would probably very unhappy with his stay, just seemed the type after just 1 encounter...
The staff was super-friendly The beds The pine furnishings A good feeling
Updated with excellent amenities. Décor very good.
Motel was hard to find after dark due to no lighted sign on the main street coming in to town.
My room was clean and comfortable. The owner gave me several tips regarding local dining experiences. The bed was awesome! Most of all - it was quiet! Great place! I'm sure I'll be back when I return to the area next year.
Was clean (except for mosquitoes) and bed was fine.
I must have swatted 25 mosquitoes or gnats in the room. The fridge's freezing compartment was packed with ice. It needed a defrost.
Very friendly staff and all the charm you would expect in a rural motel. Cute, kitchy, and worth staying again. There is a great coffee shop across the parking lot you should check out!
Staff was very nice and helpful, knew the area well.
The pillows on the bed were so flat, I had to fold it in half, when I asked for a different pillow, the one I got was so big it made my neck sore. Also, they need some hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes. TV reception was awful, even with a cable. WiFi was excellent.
An absolute gem. Very clean, very comfortable; the owner has so obviously gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that the motel is as attractive as possible. It is tastefully furnished and decorated. Nothing appears to have been too much trouble from the bed linen to the pictures on the walls. Add that it is incredibly good value for money and it is one of the best motels we have stayed in
Manager was quick to give information about local venues. We had everything we needed
Kind of noisy at night when new people came in
Very nice "country" motif. Very nice accommodations. Made me feel like no one had ever slept in the room before. Off the beaten path, but the drive is beautiful and Chase, the manager was very accommodating.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, clean and very affordable
Can't come up with a thing
Very clean and everything worked. Bed was pretty comfortable, but the fridge was a bit loud and was right at the foot of the bed. Owner was very friendly.
Fridge was a bit loud and was right at the foot of the bed. I thought it was a little overpriced for the size of the room at $75.
Friendly staff and attractive grounds.
I loved this little place. The proprietor, Chase, was super friendly & helpful. The Mingo Motel is an excellent alternative to some of the more expensive places in Enterprise & Joseph. There are no kitchen facilities at Mingo, so that question doesn't belong in the review.
Was greeted with a friendly smile and a warm bed. Very nice little place. Clean the owner clearly takes pride in his facilities. Would definitely stay here again. The town is pretty quiet but a nice stop if you have been traveling for awhile. Fyi they do not accept dogs despite what booking.com says
Wish they accepted pets
Great King room with Fishing and Pine cone décor - loved the addition of the loveseat and the drop leaf table.
Could hear people talking through walls...
Clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed.
The traffic noise was more than I expected. Plus, I think there were members of the fire response crew (bless them) sharing a room, which meant shift changes every two hours throughout the night. Cars park directly in front of the rooms so we woke every two hours to their coming and going. That was circumstantial, though. Otherwise, great place!
